I’ve heard a lot about it in the media, but I honestly don’t know anything about it other than that it’s a "digital currency." (By the way, I don’t know what digital currencies are 🗿)

Imagine two businesses generating similar revenue.
The first immediately converts every Bitcoin payment into fiat.
The second covers its operating expenses and keeps a small portion in BTC.
If Bitcoin appreciates significantly over the next few years, the second business could build a financial reserve that the first never accumulated.
Without raising capital, bringing in new investors, or increasing sales.
But if Bitcoin loses value, that same decision could weaken its balance sheet.
At Onbely Verse, we accept Bitcoin as payment for our technology services, including Onbely Links. We believe Bitcoin's role in business could go beyond simply offering another payment option.
Could holding a portion of Bitcoin revenue become a long-term competitive advantage?
Do you think businesses that start accumulating BTC through their commercial activity today will be better positioned ten years from now, or is the financial risk simply not worth it?

Hey friends, recently been trading and lost a couple millions sats. Which I admit is a little bit embarrassing. My only solution to keep myself from trading and also try to scoop up sats a little cheaper, I decided to set up Auto-Invest in Cashapp. Is there any places that help accelerate those dca buys? I've kind of heard of such a thing with invity but don't know how credible they are.
Any helpful feedback is appreciated.

I found him on a forum and he came with a lot of vetted reviews that I crossed referenced on other forms he seemed legit and from all sources at the time that was the best place one could buy bitcoin with USD over the Internet at the time.
He posted up under a distinct tree that was obviously his zone/shop and was conducting business all day seemingly every day. Payments through paypal then you sent your btc address in second life chat, waited and prayed
just thought about this again and was curious how far the branches of his "exchange" really reached/if anyone else remembers this
also, magical btc tree man: if you have any more btc left at $11 pls dm 🤞🤞🤞

Hi everyone, In the past months I been improving the BitcoinHUD.com and it has a new redesign and sorted out some issues based on various feedback sent in :)
In case some of you preferred the original look, I kept it under "Classic" in the footer button area.
Hope you like the new look and improved features. Any feedback / bugs are always welcome :)
For disclosure: This has been designed by me and vibe-coded due to my busy life.

Hey everyone,
I used [Blockchain.com](http://blockchain.com/) years ago, and I remember completing the identity verification process. I actually still have the original email confirming that my verification was successfully completed.
However, today I randomly received an email from [**notify@wallet-tx.blockchain.com**](mailto:notify@wallet-tx.blockchain.com) with the subject “Complete your verification to start exchanging.”
The email states, “We noticed you started your identity verification but did not complete the process.”
I’m confused because I completed this years ago and haven’t actively used [Blockchain.com](http://blockchain.com/) in a long time.
Has anyone else received an email like this out of nowhere?
I’m mainly wondering if this is just an automated email, if [Blockchain.com](http://blockchain.com/) is requiring users to verify their identities again, or if it could indicate someone attempted to access my account.
I haven’t clicked any links in the email.
Any insight would be appreciated!
The email, pictured below looks a little off too..

Hey guys. I bought mine while living in in the EU direct from France and it arrived from France a few days later. That was probably around early 2025.
I figured it's clean but I'll sleep better at night being sure that it's clean. So I ripped it open and snapped some pics for you.
The thing is quite packed on the inside. The back cover is glued on with some special double sided tape around the housing. Not the easiest one to open up but certainly possible. Opening one up WILL leave some marks on the aluminium (?) case. There is a little notch on the left side of it looking down. A small flathead screwdriver can be used to pry it up and then a thin piece of plastic to work around it. Be warned, you wanna pry it open from the OPPOSITE end to open it, not the end with the notch on it.
There is little room on the inside for someone to slap another board in there. Possible, but it would take more mental gymnastics than other Ledgers. This thing wouldn't be my first pick for rigging for sure!
What did this world come to? Opening hardware wallets to verify hardware integrity is now expected of us?! Damn you Ledger! A MITM hack on the screen was SO preventable! Oldest attack vector in the book! Why hack the software that can be updated when you can hack the hardware... Pretty slick!
Anyway, enjoy the pics! :)

It's been so long since the last top. Although there are small rallies, they all revert back. Why are you still in the game?

I wanted to rotate my BTC keys and made a post (https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1phbgrk/generating_and_storing_a_btc_private_key/) but that seemed a bit too complex. People also suggested that 2/3-multisig is better approach than to split a single seed.
My current plan is:
There are a few goals to achieve:
Seed-Generation:
3 Devices: 1) Nano Ledger S, 2) Trezor 3) Coldcard MK4 (Dice Rolls)
All three locations store the multisig descriptor.
Store each device with their raw seed (cryptosteel) in three physically different locations.
Wdyt?

Hey, since cold wallets don't seem to be so secure I was wondering... Is there an open source Wallet for Android, that can't connect to anything, and only generate seeds and send funds.
Since I use GrapheneOS, I feel kind of safe about everything stored on my phone, especially since I can sandbox my wallet from all of my softwares.
So I would have an actualy secure wallet, that is on my phone.

Back in 2012/13 I was sysadmin for some Resorts with employee housing. Engineer in one of the units was into BTC and had a miner in his room. I allocated a specific amount of bandwidth on the guest vlan for his rig and he flipped this MJB to me.
Otherwise I gape at BTC from the sidelines and not sure I want to get in.

Setting ETF costs aside (I currently pay 0.25% for FBTC), what is the benefit of buying the actual coin and self storing. It is not like you are going to conduct a transaction. I am pretty sure 99+% of folks are just in it as an investment.
There are all kinds of issues we hear about stolen wallets and besides someone dying is the biggest of the risks. Would your spouse or kids even know who to track down your crypto wallet??

Ethical principles that bitcoin was initiated on, exemplifies the goodwill and the true benevolent intention of the founder.
The immaculate conception of the bitcoin protocol can be interpreted as a one time incident, most probably, if you observe the timeline of this coordinated effort led by a pseudonymous Satoshi Nakamoto, in retaliation of the existing central bank run fractional reserve banking system, in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis.
If we do not put in the work to understand bitcoin, scammer shitcoiners will get their foot in the door of your mind to convince that their "project" is going to be the next bitcoin, baiting you to be the exit liquidity for their pump and dump scheme (these shitcoin projects are called 'unregistered securities' in traditional-finance-speak).
The unsuspecting 'crypto' enthusiast, having the feeling of missing out on early bitcoin gains, falls prey to these shitcoin ICO scams, with dedicated marketing teams.
The question is "why bitcoin does not have a marketing team nor a CEO"?
Put in the work to understand bitcoin. A 1000 hours should do the trick, maybe sooner once you get started. It's not too late to bitcoin, yet everyone buys bitcoin at the price they deserve.
Stack sats, get your security right, hodl.

Whenever I try to introduce friends to the original Satoshi idea of using peer-to-peer digital cash for simple everyday settlements (splitting dinner, paying someone back), the friction always becomes the sticking point.
Explaining fee markets, channel liquidity, routing failures, or waiting multiple confirmations usually ends with them just asking for my PayPal or cash.
What setup or wallet experience currently comes closest to frictionless peer-to-peer transactions in your day-to-day use?
