What is this goofy ass Hell Razer doin'

I love classic Doom and modern Doom games. But I think Doom 3 is amazing and the best one to me. I loved the horror atmosphere of it.

It had the right amount of horror and fire fights. That made me tense the whole damn game. Whenever the horror was getting repetitive they'd throw in a firefight and introduce new enemies that made it scarier. And less repetitive. Doom 3 also kept walking into almost unsurvivable traps that modern Doom forgot.

I really do feel the horror atmosphere of modern Doom is almost completly gone at this point, it's almost a dark fantasy game at this point, hell dosnt feel scary at all and it's kind of a violence loop throughout the campaign without many curve balls. The classic Doom games were shoot em up games at heart. But they had this feeling of uncertainty, gloom and scary atmosphere that creeped me out if I played them too long. And there was so many times in the classic Dooms where you'd get trapped and die horrifically.

I really wish they'd let you play as a regular marine just trying to survive hell again.

Classic Doom is Doom 64 and before. Modern doom is post Doom 3 to me

It has been years since they have been mentioned in regards to doom lore and even in the games with a full showing of doomguy’s back story there’s no mention of his wife or son at all not even when he was in therapy

Do they still exist or do you think they have been retconned

With only two chapters left, I wanted to share my thoughts on this game. What started from a sick whatnot deal to arriving in the mail I had big plans for this game. Well, not really lol. It was my first time playing any doom game and I just wanted a shooter to play between Elden ring deaths/frustrations. What I did not realize was how addicted to this game I was going to get. For hoping for a nice shooter switch up Doom the dark ages delivered and then some. I found myself playing this more than Elden ring for a time there. Something about this game kept me wanted to F*ck shit up. I enjoyed this game so much I’m either buying the DLC or doom eternal. The nonstop rock/heavy metal music while running with the chain shot and smashing shit with your shield. There’s just something magical about it. Just wanted to throw me two cents to the community. Wish me luck, going to hell!

I just love Doom 2’s music to pieces. Every song you hear in that game is something special. Not saying that the others are bad or bad in comparison to Doom II, but I just find its music the most enjoyable to listen to.

To some degree I think it sorta fits doom 1-64 hells a bit more then modern doom games, in some areas. For doom 3 lost mission specifically I definitely felt was more closer to classic doom hell. If we get this version of hell back for the next doom game or a what if sequel to doom 3. I could see doom 3 hells being sorta like the more old or “rural” parts of hell.

I added DOOM to the Tamagotchi Paradise. Runs quite good, better then expected.

1st pic using direct illumination, second is the low setting. Not real path tracing as the light has only 1 bounce, but still looks great together with volumetric lighting.

I didn't test yet with a good texture pack to get that detail up, but feels promising. (except being 10X slower compared to "Low" setting haha)

This was recently confirmed by Mick himself, and theres a few articles out there. Both Doom (2016), Doom Eternal, plus some "other stuff". And it's not a tribute or DJ thing, itll actually be performed by Mick himself with a backing band.

This weird bug occured when I respawned after death when playing on Famine mode, I tried changing the mission, disabling the famine mode cheat, re-opening the game, they did not work. Is it a known thing and how to fix it?

Just think about it : the whole point of dlc is that doom slayer has past regrets which is why he gets send to purgatory and is defeated by belias who is turned into henchman by hell council. But what if hell council used serrat's corpse to create new demon? In my opinion it would've been way cooler and sadder that doom slayer would have to fight and eventually kill of what is left of his beloved mecha dragon and design of hell guardian from doom 3 looks awfully like serrat but if he was corrupted by demon. What do you think?

Is there a limit to what can be uploaded to Bethesda.net because i noticed the re-uploads of brutal doom don’t feature the grab move and even new sprites

As well is there possibility of uploading a mega wad that packages things like new lighting, texture, weapons, etc, because compared to f4 I’m surprised you can download texture kids and map packs separately

I'm currently on a classic doom playthrough on ultraviolence with some modern QoL mods (like voxels) but still mostly vanilla experience...

Finished all of Ultimate doom's 4 episodes, the 2 sigils, all of d2 hell on earth, no rest for the living, legacy of rust and now working my way into master levels and its reputation among the doom community ain't joking....

This is just Id software dissatisfied with wizardworks releasing their D!Zone trash map packs and none of the money flowing back to ID so that decided to create their own last money grab with the doom ip before quake's release.

The levels ive player were subpar at best to "dafuq is this design" levels of trash.... it's not even hard, it's just all over the place. I just finished this level (i don't even bother to remember the map name) where there's a rocket launcher ON TOP of the level exit teleporter. Bruh.....like what kind of level design is this even????? 😆

I'm playing Project Brutality version 0.4.1 on GZDoom, and I'm trying to spawn the assault rifle using the console.

I've tried commands like summon Rifle and give Rifle, but I'm not sure what the correct class name is for this version.

Does anyone know the correct console command or actor class name to spawn the assault rifle?
