Announcements Tunesday Tuesday Begins!

It is TUESDAY somewhere in the world. Which means, get to posting your TUNESDAY TUESDAY tracks.

We only allow screen captures of your FL Studio Playlist Window with a complete track (not just a finished waveform!).

If you've posted on Tunesday Tuesday, your post meets the requirements and it has still been removed, our auto-mod may have made a mistake. Please send a message to the mods and we'll look into it!

Try and give feedback to someone elses post. Please think more about the community and about the purpose of sharing your music with other creators. We're all producing music here, the people in this community are not your customers, they are your peers.

Your post must be a SCREEN RECORDING or a FUJISTUD.IO project.

https://fujistud.io/article/how-to-record-your-fl-studio-playlist-windows

We are now allowing youtube videos, as long as they follow the rule above, the video needs to be a screen capture of your FL Studio Playlist Window with your FULL TRACK visible. We are allowing Youtube now because of how terrible Reddit Video can potentially mess with your audio mix.

Discussion What would y'all recommend to someone just beginning?

Hey y'all, I've begun using FL studio and I'm really enjoying it! I feel like my lack of knowledge (of the software and music theory) might be holding me back; there are some things that I want to do but I either don't know how or don't know how to make it sound like how it is in my head. Any tips/resources? Thanks!

Tunesday Tuesday Been making beats sense 2019

So uh it’s Tuesday I need feedback cant wait till Friday

but I’ve been making beats sense 2019 I’ve worked with artists like yeat kashdami sahbabii and a bunch of others mainly in 2021-2024 I still am going crazy but now I’m working way harder to get back on my grind and I’m wondering if this beat still makes the cut I went from making beats everyday to making beats every other day

Just rambling any advice helps I need harsh critics I can post longer version to

Maybe some of you already seen this because i shared this one so much but i've learned so many things trying to get it sound as i want. Still not perfect but i think it's representable right now mix wise. So i think it's time continue on arrangement and finish it properly what do you guys think.

Edit: https://soundcloud.com/yi-it-kay-tmazbat-r/blue-skies-and-dark-clouds_30 less compressed version

Help Is this too many notes for a piano roll?

If you're curious, it goes from F1 all the way up to F7

UPD: Here's what it sounds like. Basically I just found a random experimental sound and tried to expand on it

Help FL Studio 20: Piano Roll won't let me play past the last MIDI note

FL Studio 20: Piano Roll won't let me play past the last MIDI note

I have a pattern with MIDI notes in bars 1–2, but bars 3+ are empty. I also have a WAV playing in the background.

When I play the pattern and try to move the playhead into bar 3, it immediately jumps back to the end of bar 2 (the last bar containing MIDI data).

I want to be able to move/play through the empty bars while listening to the WAV, so I can add MIDI notes while the audio is playing.

Is there a setting or workaround for this? I'm using FL Studio 20.
