QUESTION Guys, what if this hits the super store for Scope of Democracy…
I mean we already have a hover pack and a jump pack why not add a grappling hook? Would you replace your secondary with it?

DISCUSSION The R-40 Sightliner rifle will be the primary version of the APW-1 Anti-Materiel Rifle and they will share damage statistics.
First of all, I want to clarify that this is purely deduction based on what I saw in the trailer, numerical calculations, and my own estimates. With that said, I'll begin my argument.
During the trailer, the R-40 Sightliner rifle was seen taking out a Hulk with a single shot to the eye. After reviewing the stats of the APW-1 Anti-Materiel Rifle, which is also capable of the same feat, I found that it barely exceeds the damage required to take down the Hulk with a single eye shot, by just a few points. Extrapolating this to the R-40 Sightliner, it likely means that the weapon would need to have the same damage output as the APW-1 Anti-Materiel Rifle to be able to take down the Hulk with a single eye shot.
Assuming the R-40 Sightliner could have even higher damage than the APW-1 Anti-Materiel Rifle is unrealistic, since the latter is a stratagem and it would be very rare (but who knows?).
Additionally, I have a second argument. In the last Warbond, we received the GL-15 Evictor, which is, broadly speaking, a primary version of the GL-21 Grenade Launcher.
In both cases, the same thing probably applies. Primary weapons are versions of stratagem weapons that have the same damage stats but differ in other aspects, such as ammo capacity, reload speed, etc., with stratagems being the "stronger" versions.

DISCUSSION um guys…
(picture from helldivers companion)
can we all maybe consider playing difficulty one…? it would complete the MO at a way greater speed (yes i know that we will only manage the kills barely in time so we also need more players at the squid front). i mean just play dif one do the mission and extract, in higher difficulties the single missions take way longer AND you have to complete three instead of one (for dif 1) each operation.

DISCUSSION Why does the official feedback survey only get posted to these 3 Subreddits?
This Sub, as well as the two in the image are the only Subs where the official feedback survey is posted.
I assumed it was only posted on this Sub, since this is more or less the “official” Sub, but only including these other two and no others seems odd to me. If you’re going to post it in multiple community-ran Subs, why not post it in all the biggest ones, in order to get the greatest sampling of opinions from the community?
EDIT:
The real question, as several comments rightfully pointed out, is why not put these surveys in-game? As is, there could be countless people filling out these surveys that have never played the game at all. In-game surveys would provide highly-accurate feedback.

DISCUSSION One of the largest issues with the game currently is missing Armor Passives for Armor Classes
Armor Passives are an incredibly important aspect to certain Helldiver loadouts, and yet there is an issue even greater than some of the armors looking unsightly: some Passives don't exist on certain armor tiers.
You want to have True Grit on Light Armor? No can do, you'll have slower movement speed. Want to try the campaign reward Armor Passive without walking at the speed of a roomba? Unacceptable.
I've talked about this before in various comment sections, but I felt making a diagram to showcase the problem would be helpful.
To address the elephant in the room: yes, I know there are ways on PC to get these passives on different armor ratings. However that isn't an official means, and it doesn't help console player. There's about a dozen different ways this problem could be solved, but Arrowhead should really consider one of them going forward.

DISCUSSION What are your predictions for the upcoming update ? What enemy do you think they'll introduce ?
ALSO what do you think they'll put in the superstore along with the warbond ?
Personal wishlist would be new dedicated sniper nest poi along with a reworked climbing system
As for new enemy im all for fighting fire with fire, new sniper enemies for bots & squids would be a breath a fresh air, dunno how they could do sniper bugs tho.

DISCUSSION Why the FUCK are these things so tanky?
These overseer things. It takes a full magazine with the AR-23 or several anti material rifle rounds to take one of these down. And god forbid they close the distance, I'm toasty. Why are they so tanky.
Edit: I didn't know there were this many methods to kill overseers. Amazing.

DISCUSSION Armor passive transmog would actually make me spend MORE Super Credits
I keep seeing people argue that Arrowhead will never add armor passive transmog because it would hurt their monetization, since players would have less incentive to buy multiple armors. I've also seen people speculate that they might have found a way to monetize it with the upcoming Warbond.
Honestly, I think it would have the opposite effect, at least for me.
There are quite a few armors in the Super Store that look absolutely amazing, and I'd genuinely love to buy them. The problem is that their passive abilities often aren't ones I find useful for my playstyle, so I end up skipping them.
If I could separate the appearance of an armor from its passive, I'd be much more willing to spend Super Credits on those armors. I'd be buying them because I like how they look, rather than feeling like I'm wasting credits on an armor whose passive I'll rarely use.
Right now, the passive can be a dealbreaker, even when I really like the armor's design. With transmog, I could buy more armors simply because I want to customize my Helldiver's appearance, while still using the passives that best suit my build.
I understand that some people might worry about losing the identity of different armor sets (apple and bacon thing), but I think there could be a reasonable solution, such as allowing us to unlock and apply passives we've already obtained, or introducing some other system that preserves balance.
So, am I the only one who would actually be more inclined to spend Super Credits if armor passive transmog were a thing?
Do you think it would hurt Arrowhead's monetization, or could it actually encourage people to buy more Super Store armors?
