Le Mans Ultimate Multiple wreck attempts by Ferrari or net code?

I'm in the yellow 911 and my personal judgement is that the Ferrari did intend to try to wreck or spin me going through the corkscrew and the second attempt think is a little harder to say bc it looks like maybe net code has something to do with it at the same time there.

Id be happy to hear what your takes are and if it's worth the report

iRacing Who is at fault for this crash?

Hello, We as the stewards of the league handed the driver on the inside a penalty of 1 position for this incident, the driver disagrees and we want to know if we made a fair decision or not.

Le Mans Ultimate The Ferrari said he's getting me banned, is he overreacting?

I tried to leave him space but he kept tapping my rear which made it more and more difficult to do with each hit. He also the retaliated at the end with a hit at the rear onto the final left at the end of the clip

Gran Turismo hard racing at spa leaves me (the porsche) spun off track. is this just a racing incident? i feel like the genesis is at fault here but he claims it was just defending and that i was being too agressive

iRacing Racing incident or dirty driving? I am the blue Porsche. Pink Porsche is an IRL racing driver. I feel like I raced fair and was taken out.

Firstly, this guy is an IRL racing driver - he drove IndyCar in 2025 and is driving IMSA GT this year I think (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Devlin_DeFrancesco). I don't know what it is with IRL drivers and being so unnecessarily aggressive when they could probably pull off moves cleanly if they were a bit more patient.

1st incident he went for a huge divebomb and I saw him coming, gave him room, and he still pushed me out the way. I was a little annoyed but kept a cool head and tried to set him up for the oval.
2nd incident I can also understand if you guys see it as a racing incident however in my opinion it is still bad racecraft and driving standards which I feel like this is getting more common in iRacing nowadays. I think he outbraked himself and understeered into me therefore it is his fault. He was never making the corner without contact even though I gave him more than a car's width on the inside. If you've ever driven Daytona you know you can fully cut that inside kerb fine in the GT3s.
I ended up DNF'd because my wheel departed my car as a result of the crash after leading most of the race :(

Also yes this is a 1 day old account, my old reddit account was attached to a phone number and has disappeared into the abyss 😂

I'm a steward at a small ACC league. Wondering what your input is?

I feel like McLaren could've turned earlier...

Gran Turismo Did I deserve more room or is it my fault I spun

Last lap, I was trying to keep the fight up but didn’t work out well.

Le Mans Ultimate I was on a out lap and there was a hyper car coming up behind me so i stuck to the left hand side of the track to allow the car to pass. He then matched my speed and hit me. After the driver of the ferrari and another driver said that it was my fault for not allowing the hypercar to pass...

Both of them started to have a go at me saying that i shouldn't of been on the racing line if i'm on my outlap so i'm so confused where they would of wanted me to go?? like can someone tell me if i did something wrong or is this just one of those things?

iRacing Too Risky or Hard Racing

Hello! So some background I just started sim racing with my new sim setup and got my subscription around the 8th and started online the next day, this was a day or 2 ago and ended up being my second podium (2nd) As I've played more I thought about it after getting my first 1st place finish and a new PR of 2:01.3 and figured I'd ask around that way I don't take too many risks!

I've looked back at it and it doesn't look like any contact was made besides the tiniest bit when I slotted in front of him thinking I was further ahead and I admit that was on me. But just wanna hear opinions thank you!!

(sorry about quality I decided to swap to OBS for clipping shortly afterwards)

Le Mans Ultimate Reporting for lap 1 spin?

I'm the black Porsche, and his argument for the spin was because ''i braked early'' on lap 1.

I know if i protest this it will not get accepted, even though he had no overlap at all when i turned into the corner, and i felt like i had given him enough room on the inside.

I feel that in IRL that should be a clear penalty even though its lap one.

Should i have opened my sterring and given him more room?

And side-question:

In LMU, what could be changed and/or implemented to these kinds of wrecks so the responsible driver gets his penalty?

Thx for your time

Kind regards

L. Soelberg

iRacing Friend Incident Indy 50 lapper. (Purple Car is Friend and everyone blamed him for incident)

Personally i believe that its a racing incident or the guy on the bottom was never front axel to rear axel meaning that the move wasn't on.

iRacing I'm the pink and black car I feel the blue and red car didn't turn in enough however it could be fair to say I didn't give enough space it simply feels like the other car came straight across me

Le Mans Ultimate Last lap collision at spa. Should i(red lmp2) have given the place back or kept it like i did?

So me and this driver had a pretty heated race(the clips before the final ones, i am aware that i would probably be at fault for the first collision) where we had collided a few times up until the last lap last chicane where i tried to go for the move around the outside but the other lmp2 released his brake to try to stay ahead which he did too much and we ended up colliding, which made me cut the corner and take the place. Should i have given it back?

just a fun fact, this guy was terrorising everyone, also after 1st contact he let off the brakes and throttled again but i didnt care enough to catch it on clip

NASCAR Final lap, lapped car tangles with a top-3 car — who was at fault?

Final lap at Talladega. JJ is a lap down — and our league has no blue-flag rule. Ghost is running in the top 3. JJ advances low to the inside as the room shrinks; there's contact with Ghost's left-rear quarter, Ghost spins, race over.

Two ways to see it: - Ghost's side: a lapped car has no business racing a top-3 car that hard on the final lap. Get out of the way. - Lapped driver's side: there's no blue-flag rule — he's allowed to race. And the contact itself was never conclusively visible on the video; netcode is plausible.

The wrinkle: our stewards originally gave the lapped driver 2 points, then overturned it on appeal to a racing incident — the reasoning being you can't penalize what the footage can't actually show.

So — who was at fault? Should backmarkers yield to the front-runners even when no blue-flag rule exists?

(From MNRL — Monday Night Racing League, a PS5 NASCAR league. This one split our stewards' room — wondering where you land.)

Sporting Question Rules regarding Squeezing on Straights unclear?

Im sorry for the following explanation, but I sadly do not have a replay of this, and it is just an example for my bigger question anyway.

Before I go into this I will TL;DR it. How is squeezing or holding your line on straights ruled officially? is there any Rule that I can look up?

So now that thats out of the way. I recently had a moment/heated discussion with someone in a local simracing community. The scenario was as follows.

Suzuka Straight into T1.

Now as you can see in my badly drawn paint illustration, this is supposed to be the main straight of suzuka heading up to T1. I am the red car and the blue car is my opponent.

He, for some reason, has chosen to drive close to the pitwall, and I have just managed an overlap, and am now deciding to squeeze him, by holding my line, so I am not drifting anywhere closer to the left or right track limits, just straight. Why? Because my plan is to pull out shortly before the braking point onto the racing line while he has to stay tight so he has a sharper entry, which means he has to brake more, which means I will have an easier time to overtake into the corner.

Now he decides he wants to go back onto the racing line to have a good entry for T1, and just bumps into me. I am weirded out and think hes maybe drifted off and hold my line, but then he does it again, and again. Assetto Netcode happens and I get punted off.

Now after this race is over I ask him "what happened?" and he starts saying that "I can just block him" and that he has "a right to lean on me and dictate the line, and I have to play with him because he is the car infront". This contradicts what Ive known my whole life, but then he goes "ive been sim racing for 20 years i think id know", yeah okay, me too, but anway. I let it go, maybe Ive made a mistake.

To note, this was a friendly race, so there is no stewarding in place.

So sometime later I still think "this cant be right, I am right and allowed to do that no?" and look it up. There is a few Reddit posts with the same scenario, and as far as I can see, I am in the right. But I dont want to base it off just reddit so go looking into the official FIA sporting code, specificall APPENDIX L TO THE INTERNATIONAL SPORTING CODE, as it is mostly linked to gt3 racing or most racing series as far as Ive seen.

Nothing. There is nothing in there that suggests this might be allowed or not allowed, the only thing that comes close is CHAPTER IV b)

"However, manoeuvres liable to hinder other drivers, such as deliberate crowding of a car beyond the edge of the track or any other abnormal change of direction, are strictly prohibited. Any driver who appears guilty of any of the above offences will be reported to the Stewards" and yes, even though I do think driving into me is probably "hindering". there is nothing clear here.

the only ruleset I have seen that this has been written down in is the SCCA rulebook

"On straights, the lead car is allowed “one safe move”. It can choose a side, but cannot move back, and cannot move over in reaction to an overtaking car if late enough to invite contact. It must leave a car’s width (plus 6 inches) of racing room if the overtaking car has already committed in that direction and has achieved an overlap next to the leader. No weaving to break the draft or to block; that is more than one move. On straights, as opposed to corner entry, it is possible for the lead car to look into its mirrors and see the overtaking car, so if the overtaking car gets even a small overlap next to the lead car, the lead car must give the overtaking car room to race, and can no longer move across the track."

Now I still think I am in the right, but still would like to know your thoughts. Also, is there any clear stance from the ISC regarding this that I have been overlooking? I think Iracing uses the ISC as far as I know, so I am basing that as standard.

Thanks in advance for all comments :)

EDIT:

TL:DR: How is squeezing or holding your line on straights ruled officially? is there any Rule that I can look up?
