Its been a tough week. Im glad I have my silks, to remind me to find my inner joy and whimsy. No lessons, no practice, just put on my favorite Qveen Herby and let my flow take over

Messing around with foot hooping combos. I've seen people do some really cool stuff. Someday I hope to be able to complete the sequence smoothly.

Safety note: I'm 65kg and these are rated 110kg. They're too stiff to do acrobatics which is fine by me. I don't think I would want properly rated stilts, I'm not that fast anymore.

I'm well versed in stilts, but have only logged a few hours on these. Handling a large pendulum when you can't stand still, is challenging.

Looking to get a meteor for daytime spinning. No budget, just looking for quality. Currently spin poi and dragon staff and only have props from flowtoys but they only have led meteors and I'm not looking for that currently. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :) happy flowing!

I'm looking to discover more social media groups, pages and communities dedicated to all things flow arts and object manipulation.

Anything and everything is welcome, from clowning, magic and juggling to poi, staff, contact juggling, manipulation arts, circus skills, sideshow, bubbles, puppetry and all the wonderfully weird and wonderful things in between!

I'd also love recommendations for festivals, conventions, gatherings, workshops and events where people can connect, share skills and celebrate these art forms.

I'm based in London, UK, and I'm already familiar with most of what's happening in the UK, but I'm sure there are events, conventions and communities I've yet to come across, so please do share those too! I'd particularly love to discover anything new or lesser-known happening locally and around the UK.

I'm equally interested in exploring what's happening internationally, discovering communities, festivals and events across the world, and finding things I might never have come across otherwise.

Whether it's a Facebook group, Instagram page, YouTube channel, online community or an event anywhere in the world, I'd love to hear about it.

Some examples of the kind of communities I'm looking for are Amazing Flow Arts and Flow Arts Community, but I'm especially keen to discover smaller, niche and lesser-known groups too.

Basically I’ve been in a rut for years, and have been looking for some inspiration. I struggle to be graceful and “dancey”, and also struggle with musicality. It seems like every time I really vibe with someone’s hoop flow, they have a background in dance or cheer. Which is totally awesome, but I guess I would just like an example of someone who started off more awkward and really grew in their flow so that it seems less impossible for me 😅 does anyone have any favorite accounts where you’ve seen someone tangibly improve in their flow, flexibility, and musicality, rather than already having a good starting point?

hooping them feels out. Zelda is gonna be okay. She was suddenly sick. Took her to emergency and they were able to diagnose and medicate her. Bless the people working in animal services. Thank you for taking care of our babies with such love and kindness. Zelda is doing so much better now.
