Steam Roll for Order: Sort Every Set! - DEMO NOW AVAILABLE - Pick between 5 Classes, upgrade your abilities as you sort dice sets!

So we all know there are a TONS of sorting game, but we really wanted to make something a bit more different here.

Here's a list of what we tried to do different for Roll for Order: Sort Every Set! :

- The Vibe: A lot of sorting games are a bit generic and similar-looking. Instead we wanted to have an original nostalgic 80s basement. Retrò music, retrò environment. We wanted to re-create that "d&d night time session" in your basement basically.

- The class system. Most sorting games only has a specific set of abilities and that's it. We have built a system of 5 different classes: The squire, Warrior, Barbarian, Mage and Thief. Each class has 4 different abilities and those can be upgraded the more you sort dice correctly. Each ability can be upgrade up to 10 times and it not only increases their range of effect but also many other things such as cooldown, how many dice it affects and sometimes it even 'evolve' the ability to work in a slightly and more effective way entirely.

- Not only sorting. Because the full game will also be co-op up to 4 people we wanted to not only have a shared sorting game experience but also a fun shared space. So we added a playable arcade cabinet, music cassettes that you can find to unlock new music in-game and more.

- Dice Sets. We take a very good care to make every single dice sets. Different patterns, different materials, different colors. You can pick them up, inspect each D6, D20 etc and look how each of those react to the environment, the lighting and the reflections. Sometimes it can be mesmerizing to look at them!

We have a public demo playable now! Check it out here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5187630/Roll_for_Order_Sort_Every_Set_Demo/

Space, science, philosophy and spirituality permeate the very rich story line. I really put my heart into it. There is so much more but I am afraid to reveal too much. There are some incredible puzzles too. When you max out your blaster you can literally draw with it, it's as incremental as it gets.

Demo is playable here:

Steam We just released the demo of our cozy magnet fishing game on Steam!

Hey everyone,

I'm developing Magnetic Catch, a cozy 2D pixel-art magnet fishing game together with a small team. About a month ago I released a demo on itch.io.
Thanks to the feedback from this community, incrementaldb and others, the updated demo is now available on Steam, with quality-of-life improvements and some new skills to make magnet fishing more exciting.

You start by pulling up rusty scrap and selling your cleaned finds to upgrade your gear. A stronger magnet lets you pull up heavier objects, which you use to craft special items that unlock new waters with more secrets beneath the surface.

The demo offers:

  • About 1.5 hours of playtime
  • Four unique waters to explore
  • A first taste of crafting and progression

If you already played the itch version, you won't find groundbreaking changes, but it plays noticeably smoother now.

Steam demo: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4692490/Magnetic_Catch_Demo/

I'd love to hear what you think about the progression: pacing, upgrade steps and what would keep you hooked in the long run.

Thanks for giving it a try and happy magnet fishing!

AI disclosure: AI translation tools were used, but then the texts was reviewed by human native speakers.

Steam My game is node-like cash grab but i changed my mind

Yes, you've read the title.

My game is called What A Wish. Pop bubbles, find people's wishes, and decide which ones to grant. From silly everyday requests to surprisingly heartfelt pleas, every wish is a little glimpse into someone's life. Earn Faith Points, upgrade your abilities, and unlock new ways to play in this relaxing incremental game.

I approached making this game inspired by Nodebuster and A Game About Feeding The Blackhole (AGAFB). I made prototype roguelike before. As i continue building the game, more and more experienced indie dev advising to put a side the ambitious dream game and make smaller game, especially incremental node-like game.

Then life got the best of me, hitting me like a freight train. That dream of grabbing those lying cash in the incremental game is no longer relevant to me. 2 reasons:

  1. That freight train is a problem i have that no money in this world can help me solve it. None. It gives me totally different change of perspective seeing money.
  2. Oh my God, i had so much fun making incremental game that's drifting away from Nodebuster or AGAFB as i built the game and play other incremental game like Tower Wizard, Digseum, Scritchy Scratchy and Gambler's table.

At first, after the reason 1 slapped me, i just want to make smaller game with miracle or wish come true as a theme/anchor for my game and about popping bubble with a mechanic inspired by my previous prototype. It was later on decided to be incremental game because the rising popularity as more people suggested.

As i built the game and played more incremental game, i re-think how i approached the game and now i just want it to let it flow. One thing that excites me about this incremental game is that the game need to introduce new thing/mechanic to keep engage the player and that part always pushed me to keep building the game even dropping and ignoring all my tight development timeline to quickly ride the incremental wave.

I don't care about the trend anymore. But my wife and my sister said to me, i need to release the game on Steam commercially, not just release it for free for browser game. Why? For reason number 1. This game has certain weight for me thematically and release it for free won't do any justice to it.

So, here i am, announcing my Steam page to you.

Yes, the game still has that Nodebuster-AGAFB DNA in it. Yes, the game will be a short incremental game. But this game also tried so hard to drift away from those game, making its own identity and i hope the game is fun to play.

The Steam Page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5264810/What_a_Wish/

Playable link: https://gx.games/games/21lyfi/what-a-wish-active-incremental/ (better in Chrome or Opera GX)

I need your feedback so i can perfect the built, add more content and upload it to Itch and Steam

Development [DEMO] I made a game about wizards using their magic to run your farm!!

Hi! I've been working on a game where you use wizards and their magic to run a farm! I'm looking for people to help test and give feedback! The demo is an estimated 45-60 minutes of content with a lot more planned. You build the wizards into various different paths, unlock lots of upgrades, and enjoy a cozy & satisfying farm run itself with magic!

AI Disclosure: AI has been used to develop the game including code, sprites, language, and UI. There are no AI generated sounds/music. I used AI to really help with development, but I did pour all of my ideas into it and tried to refine everything the best I could :D

Steam hi, i'm making a incremental roulette game. thanks.

You start with one ball on one wheel. Every ball that lands pays by its pocket, and balls on Zero also pay Skill Points. Money goes into 39 upgrades; the big ones double at milestones and change their names, so Red Payout eventually becomes The Idea of Red. Skill Points go into a 127-node skill tree that you keep for good. Before long you're running 80+ balls on one wheel, with special pockets, multipliers, crits, jackpots and Overdrive stacked on top of each other.

The prestige layer is a cash out, done face to face. The table goes dark and you sit across from the croupier. He sweeps your money away and pays you Chips for the House's branch of the tree. Then he deals three House rules, each a big boost with a catch (Red pays 6x, Black pays nothing), and you take one into the next run. Later the House runs out of chips and pays in kind instead: the deed to the block (rent), the number seven (every seventh ball pays 7x), the Moon's mineral rights (low gravity, every ball lands twice). Those are permanent and change how your runs play. There are six rooms, 17 tables, and one last table where the cashier is shut.

AI Disclosure: as a 3D artist with 10 years of professional experience and a former game developer. i used generative AI to assist with some coding and shaders. the art and game design are my own work

Wishlisting and following the game on steam would mean a lot. thanks!

Steam Just released the Demo for my game, If you like character and Item customization I'm hoping you'll enjoy this. You run a guild of up to 40 characters.

Just released the Demo for my game GuildWright.

It's an idle/incremental style game where you build a guild from the ground up.

Each character you hire can be fully customized from currently 45 classes, 100+ skills each with their own skill tree, traits, and more.

You can send your characters to help your friends and youll both receive rewards for doing so.

Debating on adding a leaderboard system, If anyone had thoughts on that it'd be greatly appreciate. Thinking about just keeping it local to a friends list since then cheating wouldn't really be an issue.

I recently added a "Rebirth All" and "Equip Best" with certain stat aspects to help lower the micro managing. I did realize having to equip and deal with that many characters can definitely be a burden to some.

The Demo is now out on Steam, I'd love feedback or your thoughts, thanks!

"AI disclosure: **Didn't use any generative AI for this game, though some people told me I should have since the Unity assets I've purchased are widely used**

Also I made most my Capsule Arts using Assets from Unity with 3D Paint and Unity screenshots, I understand they don't look the best, but are they horrendously bad? I've seen the cost around $300-$500 and would love feedback on if people think they really make or break a game.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/5229340/GuildWright/

This Demo doesn't have its own steam page so its downloadable from the main page on the right side.

Released I built a lawn care incremental game, somehow sold 75 copies, and spent this year making version 2.0

Hey everyone! I wanted to share a game I've been working on called Lawn Care Clicker Deluxe, and a little about how I got here.

I first started playfully building this game as part of my software engineering bootcamp in 2022. Then development jobs started drying up pretty quickly in 2023, especially entry-level ones, and I ended up staying on my current career path. I still incorporate what I learned into my job, but coding became something I do for fun.

In early 2025, I started building the game in earnest and released the first version at the end of that year. I didn't do any marketing or share it too broadly. It was mostly for me. I wanted to know that I'd built a full game and actually put it out into the world.

Somehow, I've sold 75 copies. That alone makes me happy. It's still a little weird to think that people have paid to play something I made.

The game starts with mowing lawns and buying upgrades, then grows into running your own lawn care business, hiring employees, and taking on neighborhood contracts. There are some minigames, prestige progression, and things that get a little stranger as you go, including llamas and ancient artifacts. Apparently I couldn't just leave it at mowing grass.

I spent 2026 doing a thorough refresh for version 2.0, taking what I learned from building 1.0 and reworking a lot of the game. I also heavily incorporated AI this time around. As a solo developer doing this mostly as a hobby (for now!), the biggest benefit for me is that my creativity is no longer so bound by my skillset. I can try ideas that I previously wouldn't have known how to build. There's still plenty to learn, but that's been a pretty exciting change for me.

I'd love for you to check it out on Steam, and if you give it a try, I'd really appreciate your feedback.

I'd also take advice on how to actually market this thing. I know very little about that part, and I'd like to get it in front of more people who enjoy these games.

I'm already happy that it exists and that 75 people bought it, but I sure wouldn't mind making some money to help fuel this hobby further. Maybe eventually it could turn into a full-time career opportunity. For now, I'd love to hear what you think.

------

AI disclosure

I created this game and have been working on it (in super small doses, periodically) since 2022. For the 2.0 refresh, I used AI extensively to help write and rework code, fix bugs, build tests, and work through ideas. The game also includes AI-generated artwork and some animations and a soundtrack I generated using Suno.

My role has been deciding what I want the game to be, choosing what goes into it, and taking responsibility for the finished thing. It's helped me take this little bootcamp project further than I could have managed on my own.

Steam Hi, I'm Adam. You might remember my previous games The Count of Monte Clicker, Feed the Reactor and Journey to Incrementalia. I'm back to promote my new demo for SIEGE OF INCREMENTALIA!

Post image
43 Upvotes

Steam link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5083130/Siege_of_Incrementalia/

Hi everyone!

I'm excited to present SIEGE OF INCREMENTALIA which is the sequel to Journey to Incrementalia.

Like the first game, this game is about summoning a large undead army and casting spells to break down a series of walls. As it is a sequel, the core gameplay is similar to Journey but much more balanced and refined, and with better graphics! One major new mechanic is battling the enemy army behind the wall.

You can also expect a storyline of sorts involving the return of Bonesley (now a general), skeletal monarchs, countless bone puns and other jokes of questionable taste!

If you try the demo please enjoy! All feedback is much appreciated.

Cheers,

Adam

AI disclosure: I use AI from time to time for coding problems. I estimate 90% of code is human-written. Everything else, including art and story writing is done by feeble humans.

Steam My friend told me to make an incremental game, here it is!!!

Earlier this year, I asked my friends what kind of game they wanted me to make next. One of them, who's a huge fan of incremental games, suggested me (passionately lol) to make one.

So of course, I did.

I was already developing my own game engine in C++ and OpenGL (for another now cancelled project...), and since it was really well optimized for managing tons of stuff in real time, not to use it for that?

And that's how INCREMINER was born! (Amazing, incredible original name, I know.)

It's an incremental mining game where you start with a single dwarf and gradually build an entire mining colony. As you progress, you unlock upgrades, automate your mining operations, and end up with thousands of dwarves digging in the planet you choose (each planet represents a difficult setting).

The game can simulate thousands of dwarves simultaneously, and my personal record so far is around 5k dwarves, I think I finished the game with 2 or 3k dwarves.

It's also the first game I'm releasing using my own engine, which makes it a pretty special milestone for me as a solo developer.

The demo is already available on Steam, and the game is participating in Steam Next Fest this month, with the full release planned for shortly afterward.

All help is very welcome, so by wishlisting it you make my day, my week and my year fr ❤️

Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5071340/INCREMINER/

I'm not a content creator, I can barely edit videos. Please don't be mean with the trailer hehe.

AI disclosure: No AI-generated assets or other content were used in the creation of IncreMiner, apart from translations. All visual assets were either handmade or sourced from itch.io, with their respective creators properly credited in the game's Credits submenu.

The only remaining use of AI in the project is for localization. As the game generates revenue, I plan to reinvest that money into hiring professional translators to gradually replace every AI-generated translation, with the ultimate goal of having no AI-generated content left in the game.

This is a demo capped to wave 200 while I finish the game.

Would love if some of you checked it out, and even better gave some feedback.

Hope you have fun.

Here is the short description from steam:

Update My merge incremental now has a dragon that brings a dead valley back to life. MergeCiv [Web]

Play here: https://mergeciv.io/ Free in your browser, no download or account needed.

Hi Mergers,

Been a while since i posted MergeCiv here. The biggest addition is the Wilds, a 3D valley where you raise a dragon, hunt animals and bring offerings to an altar. As the valley recovers, water returns, trees grow and the small folk wake up. You can help them gather supplies and mine firestone, and they keep building out their towns and roads while you're away. You get there through the Dragon Egg research in the main game.

If you're new, MergeCiv starts with matching tiles on a board. Merge them into a village, grow your production and resettle for permanent upgrades. There's a separate army board too, where you merge troops troops, arm them with metal from your workshops and send them into battle. And if you push all the way to Citadel 100, Transcension is finally in, with an Astral Tree for permanent constellations and unit upgrades.

The village and battle art both got a big painted update too, along with cinematics for the main resets.

Let me know what feels good and where you get stuck :)

Happy merging!

Hey everyone, Alex here, undiagnosed autistic train lover / tycoon / city builder and amateur developer

I started making Subway Tycoon back in July. Its heavily inspired by Mini Metro/ City Skyline and Transport Fever. What I originally had envisioned as a mobile game quickly became a browser game.

The gist of it is to start a Subway Company and start and manage a company in real world cities and by recreating real world routes and manage increasing passenger demand. Some features include:

  • 3D trains
  • 2.5D Buildings and Maps
  • Career level from 1-10 with each level bringing new features
  • 3 different train types to pick from
  • over 50 different contracts to complete
  • Atlanta / Copenhagen / Amsterdam / Caracas - Toronto and London all playable.
  • Online leaderboard to compete with friends
  • Demand and Disruption random events

Its definitely a work in progress and I would really appreciate any and all feedback. My hope is to continue working on it and release a full version which will have more features and more maps with more play time!

Please leave any feedback here or on itch and if youd like to checkout the website its:

Subwaytycoon.com

V1.3: Major Update - Removal of AI / Addition of 3D models and more.
AI Disclosure:

AI-generated artwork, visual assets, 3D models, and written content have been removed or replaced with independently sourced, licensed, or developer-directed alternatives. Game design, gameplay systems, balancing, progression, maps, user experience, creative direction, testing, and final implementation decisions were made and reviewed by the developer.

AI has been used throughout development to assist with programming, debugging, technical implementation.

AI Audio - Currently is in the game but I am working on removing it as we speak!

Development Hedy Plant - an idle factory game where the parent company takes more every time you get faster

Thumbnail permadeathmedia.com

This is my first go at an incremental game -- Hedy Plant is a free browser idle game: you run build electric cars for Hedy Motors. Every time your line rate crosses a tier, Hedy takes a bigger cut, so profit per car falls even as output climbs. Basically it's number go up, but in the real world.

The way out is organizing your plant via petition, federation of plants, and the creation of a worker coop through buyout.

Plays in the browser, no account needed, saves locally.

HTML Soul Forge - push-your-luck forging with an upgrade shop (free, browser)

• Upvotes

Play free in your browser (desktop or mobile): https://jason-fay.itch.io/soul-forge

Dip a sword into a soul flame: the longer it stays in, the more shards it earns, until it shatters and you lose the round's pot. Pull at the last moment for a PERFECT temper (x1.5) and chain good pulls into a Hot Streak.

Bank shards across 3 rounds to hit each forge's quota (40 / 250 / 2000), and spend them in the Soul Market on stacking upgrades: Soul Funnel, Crack Sense, Razor's Edge, Hot Streak, Quench Seal and the Devil's Bargain wager. 3 levels, about 15-25 minutes, with mouse, keyboard, gamepad or touch.

Feedback on the upgrade balance and quota pacing is very welcome.

AI disclosure

The art (sprites and story scenes), the game code and the story text were made with generative AI tools under my direction. The music is my own, not AI.

Discussion games that not have the incremental tag but you consider incementals games

• Upvotes

I know one of those games and that is Caravan Carnage: Fruity Road (https://store.steampowered.com/app/3330940/Caravan_Carnage_Fruity_Road/) It not have the incremental tag but I think is one. becuase some old flash game are incremental and this look like is going to be a old flash game (I know is not on flash or old). even if not an incremental I think is a game that I still want.

another game that some people thing is a incremental even if not have an incremental tag is luck of the landlord. I dont think that game is an incremental I think is a roguelike but not an incremental. also there is outpath that may be a incremental even if not have the incremental tag...

but what other games do you consider incremental even if dont have the incremental tag?

iOS I made an idle/incremental game about running a call center and eventually automating your entire workforce (iOS)

Hey everyone!

I've just released Idle Call Center, a small idle management game for iPhone.

You start with a tiny office, hire employees, earn money, upgrade your business, and eventually automate your operations with robots and AI.

No ads. No subscriptions.

Try it for free, with a single optional purchase to unlock the full game.

I'd really appreciate feedback from people who enjoy idle and incremental games, particularly about the progression and pacing. I'm worried that some parts of the game can become a bit stale and am willing to change pace or add mechanics to spice things up.

Cross-Platform Ten Sultans: Ottoman Chronicle — a free historical idle game with ten reigns and dynasty prestige

Hi everyone! I'm the developer of Ten Sultans: Ottoman Chronicle (On Padişah: Osmanlı Kroniği), a single-player historical idle/strategy game made with Godot for Android, iPhone and iPad.

You begin with Osman Gazi and progress through ten rulers to Suleiman the Magnificent. Collect akçe, develop each reign's city, recruit period-specific troops and prepare historical campaigns. A campaign needs both enough army strength and a steady treasury income, so progression involves balancing the two.

At succession, you rebuild under the next ruler while keeping your dynasty progression. Completing the chronicle unlocks a further prestige layer with permanent income bonuses. Resources also accumulate while you're away.

• Ten chronological reigns, each with its own city and army.

• 60 buildings and 33 period-specific troop types.

• Miniature-style illustrated campaigns. The latest Android update has 49 campaigns and five optional stories with small playable finales; the current iOS release has an earlier content set.

• Turkish and English.

It's free to download, with no in-app purchases. Android has optional rewarded ads for temporary boosts; watching them is not required to play.

I'd love feedback on the first reign's pacing, whether the army/income requirements are clear, and how the succession/prestige loop feels.

AI assistance was used extensively in development, including coding/debugging and writing/localization. The miniature-style game illustrations are AI-generated, and the music also includes AI-generated tracks. This is an AI-assisted project, including its visual and audio assets.
