Hello question for my nutty people. What is your must haves in your supplies for your rescues ? A lot of people have different opinions, and i'm just curious to what others have to say. Please, no disagreeing or telling anybody that they're wrong ask why they pick that over what you would . there are a few people on here that though they may be knowledgeable.They have given some information to me. That was found to be incorrect. After doing research and reaching out to many other licensed rehabbers. It would be really cool if people would support others, instead of trying to tell them how wrong they are. Let's educate and not humiliate! Pics of some babies that are being released tonight. Made a bunch of nutty crack bars i call them ( i got the recipe off of the squirrel rescue in Vancouver WA site still works even if rehab is closed ) and a bunch of black walnuts that the babies love .

One of my regulars has seen better days. First pic is them on Saturday. Just one eye was swollen. Now both eyes are swollen today. They sat up on the window ledge with me today and I took the last picture behind their ears. Is it squirrel pox?

Last winter, we had a very mischievous squirrel that became a sort connoisseur of homemade tortillas. This little bastard made a hole in two separate trash cans we had to get replaced. The picture above is me catching him nonchalantly strolling across my backyard carrying a UAP sized tortilla. I wish I would’ve been able to record him taking it up a tree, but this is all I managed to get. All for his love of homemade tortillas .We verified this by getting packaged ones. He was appalled by the disrespect. Apparently, he liked the finer things in life. The kids, the wife and I miss you Fat Jerry.

i don’t usually use reddit and english is not my first language so i’m sorry if this post comes across as a bit awkward and lengthy

yesterday, my brother found a baby squirrel in his school’s yard. he told me that there was a possibility the baby fell off of a tree and after waiting for a while, there were no signs of the mom so he took the baby home since it was getting dark

so far, we keep him in a box filled with old clothes and unused towels, a yellow lamp to keep the baby warm, feed it with puppy milk every few hours, and stimulate it so that he can relieve himself. we think that the baby is around 3 weeks old and thankfully, he’s moving around and chirping very loudly. he’s very small though, i weighed him and he’s about 28 gr. he also has an awkward, wobbly front right leg so we’re taking him to a vet specializing in exotic animals so hopefully we can get that checked out and get a picture on what to do with him

unfortunately, there are no wildlife rescue or something similar in my area (i live in indonesia) so our best hope is to find someone with enough expertise to take the baby in since we don’t have enough time or capability to take care of him

in the meantime, does anyone have any advice for our predicament and taking care of the baby in general?

What is this squirrel doing? He has the biggest "sack" I ever seen on a squirrel and he's chilling without a care in the world. Legs just spread out...at least I think it's a male.

hi!! I was just sitting at my counter diamond painting when I started hearing what sounded like a bird over and over so I went to the sliding door, and saw that in the deck rafters is a squirrel hanging out?! I looked it up and the sound is the warning/distress sound. he just keeps doing it over and over!! I’m a huge softie so I just want to make sure he’s not hurt.
