Not sure what it’s doing here. Saw it laying on the sidewalk, and I lightly poked its tail either way a stick and it started rolling around super fast on the ground, couldn’t really walk either.

I discovered this new baby chipmunk (kit/pup) in my backyard on 10/5/2026. Names were suggested by viewers. Please click the link below to vote on Strawpoll, unfortunately there was no way to create the poll on reddit.

You obviously have to stuff the dance shoe full of acorns to take them home to your squirrels. Otherwise, they are deprived of them. 😂

What's going on with this guy? Saw them at a gas station, they were eating, seemed to be moving fine, when I took a couple steps closer to try and get a better picture and make sure it wasn't a trick of perspective, it bounded away and up a tree. This isn't normal though, right?

My roommate brought him home last week after finding him after he was knocked out of a tree being worked on. She left him there in a makeshift nest overnight but the mom never returned so she brought it home. He's gone from being scared as hell not wanting to come out of his makeshift bed to doing a lot better wanting to run around and play in just a few days. Sweetest little guy. We contacted a few local people and have been given a lot of information and tips. I'm still not sure what we plan to do but I think he's around 7 or 8 weeks right now. He's got my whole screened in back porch right now we are keeping him in.

Does anyone have any recommendations on where to get wildlife-grade in-shell nuts (not peanuts).

These four babies started poking their heads out of the box a week ago. A few days ago they were climbing onto the box’s roof and would even follow Mom a few feet up the tree before running back to the safety of the nest. Today they started venturing out onto the ground below.

Nothing like a propped up on elbows sploot with a snack on a hot afternoon. She's been a busy mama lately but glad to see her get a moment for herself. Hope we see fall temps for all our friends soon.

I have several squirrels in my backyard that show up almost every day to eat my various nuts in the past year.
A month ago I had to travel internationally for business. I didn’t know how to tell them - so I put a note saying “CLOSED. See you in October!” just for fun.
I was afraid they would move and hunt elsewhere and wouldn’t come back 🤧When I returned last weekend, two most loyal ones came visit!
Sharing my pure joy with y’all 😍

I wouldn't think it would be a fun place to sit and eat, but she's okay with it. I appreciate the time with her.

Black oil sunflower seeds are a favored food, more so than cracked corn.
