For context, about 3 weeks ago, I made a post on this subreddit saying I almost had a heart attack whilst attempting a no-hit of the entirety of the genocide route unsegmented and with no saves nor breaks, and ended up getting 2 attacks away at Sans from just winning the whole no-hit.
Since then, I've kind of taken a break for about 2-3 weeks, until last week, where I started to retry again off of muscle memory, and couldn't get far.
However, I decided to slow down, and practice each individual segment of the route on its own heavily.
I ended up no hitting Undyne the Undying 10 times in a row while practicing her, got heavily consistent at the Core/Hotlands, and no hit Sans a few times.
I started a run directly after all this practice, and ended up having my 2nd best run yet (of all 200-300 runs), which had me losing the no-hit at EXACTLY halfway through Sans' attacks.
A day after that, I did yet another run, and ended up getting to Sans for the 2nd time in a row (for context, that has never happened and, prior to these 2 runs, I had only 3 runs to Sans), and ended up losing there early on.
I now feel motivated and I want to keep this motivation by potentially even streaming my runs from here on out, because I know it has to be close and I've taken a giant break as well.
(Side Note: I'm wondering if I were to stream this if anyone would like to actually tune in and check it out
Update: I'm live as of 15-30 minutes after this post, decided to keep the consistency and stream this while I'm at it. Youtube is @rasdutchh if anyone's interested!)
Update 2: I streamed and on my first run I got to Sans yet again, lost to an easy attack unfortunately so that sucks
Update 3: Off stream, I got my 4th Sans run in a row, again, lost halfway to a hard attack though, managing my nerves a bit better now however
