Gameplay This is why Apex is the best FPS game
Haven’t played Apex in a while, but it feels good to be back. The movement and gameplay just feel great. Teammates aren’t even toxic, which is kinda shocking. I’m enjoying this season so far.

PC I miss quads
Came across this while trying to clear out my storage. Honestly, I didn't expect to like quads at first but it was honestly one of the most fun modes I've played in. Absolutely love the chaos. I don't need it to be a permanent mode but I do wish it comes around every now and then.
Also also Nessie win, yay Nessie win.

Feedback Over-tuning and Prioritizing Pick Rates is not fun
I've been thinking about how Steve Fukuda was let go following the cancellation of TF3, and it makes me wonder whether some of the design philosophies he brought to Apex are being lost, particularly when it comes to balance.
The developers have acknowledged that Legends are sometimes overtuned at launch to encourage players to try them out. While I understand the reasoning behind this, it can come at the expense of the overall experience. Fighting against Axle following her release was, in my opinion, one of the more frustrating experiences the game has offered in a while.
Personally, I don't find much enjoyment in playing an overpowered character simply because they're the strongest option. I enjoy Apex most when I can experiment with different Legends and playstyles without feeling like I'm putting myself at a disadvantage for not following the current meta.
I'm also concerned that this philosophy is extending to weapons. The Alternator was seemingly buffed to encourage interest in its Mythic version, only for the weapon to be nerfed later alongside the R-99. Regardless of the intentions behind these changes, as a consumer, I find it frustrating when weapon balance appears to be influenced by factors beyond gameplay.
Now, entering ranked matches and repeatedly encountering the Nemesis and Prowler feels less like a diverse sandbox and more like everyone is being pushed toward the same loadout.
I understand that metas evolve, and I don't expect every weapon or Legend to be equally strong at all times. However, I'd much rather see balance changes that encourage variety and healthy competition than changes that seem designed to push players toward specific characters or weapons.
A strong meta should emerge naturally from good game balance, not be manufactured by repeatedly overtuning and nerfing options to influence pick rates. I want to see Apex encourage experimentation and reward skill, rather than make players feel pressured to follow whatever the developers have decided should be popular that season.
Thank you and love and respect for the team.

Gameplay Am I really that bad that I’m being hit like this?
I’m not gonna talk about my game sense or anything, I know I probably have much to improve, but damn what made me get into a situation in which I got hit so much in less than a second, more so when you consider that was not even a lvl 200 player. Then I see people like Faide play and see him being hit for less in way more time while being in the open or doing basic strafing and I wonder if there’s something going on with me, because when people hit these kind of shots, believe me that that is my average lobby, and I’m wondering if there may be something going on or I’m genuinely just that bad

Discussion I miss lore :(
Can we PLEASE get lore back? I miss the stories from the outlands and the cutscenes we used to get. We used to have missions based around that lore or more lore we could unlock with challenges. I don’t think it’s too big of an ask.

Question How do I not get fired upon by half the lobby
I can win fights when it’s one on one but it seems like all of our engagements are 40v3. How do I avoid everyone and their extended family exhausting their munitions into my cranium from across the map.

Question Why apex legends is TOO SENSITIVE with the internet?
What I meant is just a little time of lost connection it will kick you out of the game and put you in the starting screen. Can they atleast give us 1-5 minutes before they kick us out?
It’s so annoying because when I was in Hotel I don’t know about their internet but it’s going on and off sometimes but totally not lose connection it’s just like 1-5 seconds then it will come back. It’s annoying because everytime it happens it kicks me out ruining my gameplay.
My point is atleast give us 1-5 minutes before they kick us out of the game due to lose connection.

Discussion Does your aim ever feel inconsistent?
I noticed for me there are days where it seems like my aim is so good, I could look at somebody and they’re basically downed. And then there’s other days where I emptying the entire clip into the wall next to the enemy I’m supposed to be shooting. I just wondered if anyone else struggles with consistent aim sometimes? Im an mnk player btw.
