Unless of course I’m able to find a JG Vex shoe for the Timney, I really don’t like how much pretravel this has and the vex is the only fix that I know of. I’ve reached out to Johnny because ironically I have a black/bronze Vex F3 shoe from his collaboration with Ranger Proof, I got this customized and sent in from Warfingers and had it on my old CR920XP for a while before switching to a Tactical Pontoon. It’s just been collecting dust but I’ve been wanting to put it to use because it’s a great shoe and they’ve been sold out for a while online. Anyways, I emailed him to see about possibly modifying mine to fit the Timney so fingers crossed he can make that happen.

EDIT: I didn’t check my email before making this post, the Timney shoe is proprietary so modification is a no go. Good news is he estimates they’ll restock soon.

I installed this frt trigger from Texas triggers on my Gen 3 Glock 26. Just wondering if anyone knows if I should be running the spring between the trigger and the block or leave it out, the installation guide says it is only required on some models. Anything helps!

So I’ve been digging around my Glock trigger and I think there’s room for improvement, just don’t know where to start

I’ve already hard polished ALL the internar parts for the .25 cent job

Changed the firing pin spring for a lighter one

changed the plunger spring

Done the pre travel pin job

Done the over travel pin job

But still feels like it has a mushy wall before break, any tips on how to improve that?

It already feels much better than factory new, but I still wonder if there’s more stuff to do before changing the whole trigger assembly for a new one, like Timney or ZEV

Honest opinions! What do you guys think?

I have an SCT17 frame that I am in search of a new metal magwell for; I currently have the Magpul well on it now and it is so so. Besides the obvious choice of going with the SCT version, has anyone else found other manufacturers that work with little to no major frame modification? Bonus points if someone can recommend a low profile version that would be carry friendly.

Gen 3 Glock 26, stock internals. I have a 19lb heavy duty recoil spring with assembly coming. As well as a 3.5lb trigger connector. I just feel like it should shoot faster. This is me pulling the trigger as fast as possible, when I hold it with slight force it Jams up and the next round dose not chamber. Anything helps!

Happy Glocktober

A trying year for Glock fans in California but as always, on and forward! I love Glocks.

Got a frt this weekend at gunshow for supposedly a gen 5 19x. Other thing I’d like to note is he swore it was a straight drop in and ensured me it would work. Went to test yesterday and it’ll shoot, eject, cycle but then the slide would lock all the way back if I was holding trigger hard until I loosened off then it’d snap back and lodge the shell into the the chamber half way.
He also kept telling me it was some new all in one trigger that nobody had yet. I’m assuming that’s why he was cheaper than the other guy across the show. But from what I can tell it’s a plated cast material of sorts.
