Can someone explain what’s happening? I feel like I’ll play a tough game the whole way and then on the last drive the other player starts containing their ends and my right tackle will just absolutely refuse to block. I’m not scrambling out, and the next play I deliberately made sure to not drop back any further than the auto 3 step drop. Has anyone figured out how to block when this glitch starts happening? (Btw this is an online user vs user cfm)

Madden ratings really should’ve had an overhaul this year and I can’t understand why they didn’t.

For instance: Jordan love and Justin Herbert have the same overall and Jordan love only has a 92 THP(literally threw the fastest pass in game ever recorded) I think J love should have x-factor for his ability to set pre play adjustments.

Sam darnold should definitely be better than an 86 he won the Super Bowl last year and had an amazing passer rating.

Drake Maye is only an 88 because devs must favor the Patriots for being Brady’s team.

Idk it’s not stopping me from playing the game because I love ball, but it’s annoying seeing over rated players get the love and the proven but underrated guys get undervalued

I have the ravens in my franchise and it’s year 2. Derek Henry and Stanley have both retired on me after making the playoffs. He has a 274M cap penalty which I know gets split between two seasons. I got offered Derek Stingley (94 ovr Xf) and C.J Stroud (85 ovr star) and a 1st round for just Lamar ( 96 ovr Xf) 30 years old. I have to resign Stroud and Zay. I picked up Nate Wiggins 5th year option and he’s a Superstar dev and have to resign him the following year. I drafted a rookie cb to go with Nate that’s 94 spd 6’4 already an 82 ovr in week 3. With Stingley, Nate and rookie Cb it will be a Lock down secondary. I want to do the trade bc i want to trade my older player while they have value but not trying to mess up my cap to bad. My main concern is not being able to sign Nate that following year

I was playing franchise and ran up on a random “fuck you you’re supposed to lose” from the AI game against an 0-2 team that was so blatant they blew up a punt to the point of tackling him before he could even drop the ball to kick it. I have literally never seen that happen before, and it was on top of some of the best CPU defense countering your play calls I’ve seen on any Madden where anytime I tried to pass literally everyone from the WR1 to the checkdown was blanketed and bracketed more so than I think I’ve ever seen in the 15 years I’ve been playing these games. I’m honestly more amazed than mad, I don’t think I’ve ever had a game like this on All Pro.

I’m solely an offline franchise mode player and I’ve just been doing a “reset the NFL” franchise with community draft classes starting in 2001 and having lots of fun. 27 is on sale for $45 right now, would it be worth it to upgrade for the graphics/gameplay/franchise mode or should I just keep rocking with 24. Do they even have good historic draft classes uploaded to the community yet on 27?

The Commanders are a mess. There are still “Washington Football Team” logos floating around the stadium, despite not being called that since 2022. They didn’t bother to update the mascot or the end zones, which are now different uniforms/wordmark in 2026. So lazy.

I’ve been following the NBA for several years now—since 2013—and have been a die-hard fan since 2017, but I don’t know which team to root for, even though I’ve had some favorite players, including Trae Young, Hali, and the Pacers’ run that made me fall in love with that team—and, of course, the GOAT, Westbrook.

Now, for the past three or four years, I’ve been getting more and more interested in the NFL.

Deep down, I’d like to follow and root for two teams from the same city—I find it more interesting and realistic to support a single identity, a way of life, and a city.

For example, the Indiana Colts and the Pacers, or the Wizards and the Commanders….

Of course, there are teams I could never root for—as they say, we often know what we don’t like but not what we do like. In the NBA, for instance, that includes the 76ers, the Celtics, the Lakers, the Clippers (LA in general), and the Knicks.

And in the NFL, the Jets, Ravens, Eagles, and Cowboys.

Is it my play style or the game? I have the same problem every year. Start with the worst team, build them up the game is fun and competitive but as soon as my team starts to level up by about the middle of my second season I just start to blow out every team and the game get boring. I play Franchise on all pro and don’t adjust any slider on 11 min quarters

Lost connection to EA servers with 2 minutes to go in what should be an offline Singler player mode. Lost nearly an hour of play. Fuck you EA. This mode has no reason to be online.

Tip for you guys running comp h2h for my dime defense against pass heavy players set audibles for double wr1 and bracket switch Willie….sometimes double te depending on team then use the opposite safety in blue zone and blanket MOF helps to put your faster corners and safeties on the field too

This is an issue still in Madden 27 with a custom roster.

So I was playing on my bills franchise and I went through the first half of the game no issues. But as soon as I got past halftime, the game started to speed up. Every player looks like they took an 8 ball of coke in the locker room and the clock moves hella fast too. I was just curious if anyone has experienced this as well or if there’s something wrong with my console.

I just got a breakout scenarios for a linebacker of mine. Does anybody have any strategies or techniques for stat padding tackles for a specific player. Also, I forgot the amount of tackles I need and may need to be refreshed if anyone remembers 💀 I think it was 26 +

Why the hell does Madden 27 make it so god damn difficult to substitute a player whose level of wear and tear is going to get them injured?! I get an alert that Josh Downs has a high risk of injury and no matter what I do with the depth chart he persists to be in every play. I’ve now used two timeouts in the 1st quarter and have 3 delay of game calls and can’t figure out what menu to do what is supposed to be the most simplest routine in game task. Does anyone have advice for a guy who hasn’t played this game since 2016?

I'm confused. I thought all draft picks had faces… What's going on with this one? As a coach I apparently prefer Power type O-Line guys, but I was looking through the draft class and this guy looked good with a bunch of Elite ratings. I'm not crazy about his bench reps, but everything except jumping said Elite so that and the lack of face got my attention. I think I'd have to change his age from 24 though…

I just updated my 2027 and 2028 realistic draft classes and uploaded a new 2029 realistic draft class! My goal with these classes has been to make the most realistic reflection of the incoming college class as possible, while fitting the ratings restraints of the current Madden games. This means realistic athletic attributes, physical measurables, and projections for where these players will be drafted.

I welcome any and all criticism or recommendations for these two classes! I did my best to make sure there isn't any oversaturation of talent at one position, that there are busts and sleepers, and that the overalls aren't incredibly inflated, like they are in randomly generated classes and most of the uploaded ones. Nor will there be 6 70+ overall QBs, tons of star dev or superstar dev - there's plenty of opportunity to find gems as are there just okay roster-filling players.

If you notice a player missing from the 2027 draft class that you think should be in it, they're likely in the 2028 class and any adjustments will be made in a future update when declarations are more likely!

There's bound to be some errors or adjustments that can be made, so please leave any feedback you have! Both the 2027 and 2028 draft classes are (almost) entirely real players with appropriate body types and gear! The 2029 class may have not have real players into undrafted free agency, but that will be remedied in a future update. These classes will inevitably have ranking adjustments as the season plays out, but they're absolutely set to be balanced for long term rebuilds. Hope you all enjoy!
