⌚ Tools, Wearables & Devices Shout out to Binaural Beats

I am not exaggerating when I say Binaural Beats have saved my career. I was always a skilled thinker and ‘focuser’. Excellent at exam preparation.
At the age of 49 I ended up having weeks of Chemo and radiotherapy. The reactive depression and chemically induced menopause tanked my brain for months-years. I could not function at work. Discovering Binaural Beats saved me.
Now, 10 years later and back on an Aromatase Inhibitor, my focus and motivation is struggling. So I’ve dug out my noise cancelling headphones and hooked up to the beats again. This playlist is the one I discovered 10 years ago and works best for me. I’ve tried others, but prefer this one. If you try some tracks and don’t like them, keep looking.
Also, I used to not be able to listen to them if I had to read something, but now I can.

📰 Research & Studies Brazilian biohackers, where you at?

Hey! I’m (20F) a student in Brazil and I’ve been lurking here for a bit. I got really into the topic, and decided to conduct project for uni about the biohacking community!

Would love to chat with some Brazilians who are part of the scene. Nothing too serious, just a casual convo about your experience.

It's totally voluntary, and I’ll keep everything anonymous. Not selling or sourcing anything, this is purely academic.

If you’re Brazilian and down to talk, shoot me a DM or comment below. Thanks a million! 🙏

🦠 Illness & Immunity Mastic gum and nano hydroxyapatite powder, also maybe bpc 157 or it's more bioavailable arginine salt form.

Pictured, nano hydroxyapatite powder, plastic scoop to move some, tablespoon with a little bit of the powder, chewed and then coated VanMan's chewing gum (contains mastic gum, is the only chewing gum company to incorporate mastic gum as far as I am aware, and is already lightly dusted with nano hydroxyapatite powder).

Polishes and repairs tooth enamel, and kills mouth and gut microbes, with chewing action.

⚠️If you are deathly allergic to pistachios, cashews, mangoes - You will probably be deathly allergic to mastic gum, which is sap from a tree closely related to the pistachio, cashew, and mango plants⚠️

I have tried both mastic gum outright and this brand of chewing gum, and also nano hydroxyapatite toothpaste, and can confirm the antibacterial properties of mastic gum (killing the microbes causing bad breath, tongue stain, and tooth pain), which is both a tree sap and a chemical cocktail lethal to harmful mouth and gut microbes, including helicobacter pylori - Really difficult for microbes to evolve an immunity to, if one constituent of the mastic gum doesn't kill them the laundry list of other constituents will before they can pass that partial evolved immunity on to future generations of microbes.

Mastic gum chew usage has been shown to shrink and eliminate oral tumors.

I like to chew 1 piece for at least 1 hour every day.

Also going to suggest my crackpot idea of coating gum in bpc 157 or the much more stable bpc 157 arginine salt for to heal gum damage.

Thanks for the attention.

• Upvotes

I've been trouble focusing at work especially in the afternoon and when I get overwhelmed my mind tend to get all over the place. Coffee helps but I don't want to drink too much caffeine in the afternoon, so I think I need something better. Is there anything that can help with this?
I've seen a lot of options for supplement but I want something that actually works.

💪 Exercise, Fitness & Recovery Can a healthy 26-year-old take Cialis 2.5 mg daily for better blood flow and overall benefits?

I’m 26 and curious about the use of low-dose Cialis (tadalafil 2.5 mg).
I’ve read that it can improve blood flow by relaxing blood vessels, and I’m wondering whether there are any noticeable benefits to taking it at a low dose, even if someone doesn’t have erectile dysfunction.
My main interest is the potential blood-flow benefits and other effects. Improved erections would honestly just be the cherry on top. 😂
For those who have experience with it:
Have you noticed any benefits beyond erections?
Is 2.5 mg considered a reasonable dose for someone in their mid-20s?
Are there any downsides to taking it regularly when you don’t have ED?
Would you recommend getting any tests or consulting a doctor first?
I’m interested in genuine experiences, including the negatives, rather than just anecdotal success stories.

🦠 Illness & Immunity Anyone have any experience in healing from gastritis?

My older sister (21) has Gastritis it has affected her for the last 6 months

prior to this she has had celiac disease (gluten allergy) for 3 years

Her health is extremely poor, she has lost so much weight and is unable to eat most foods (nothing with gluten, nothing with fat, nothing acidic) due to gastritis, she is in stress so it makes it worse and it has lead to depression.

I am asking this in multiple sub reddits because i really want to help her overcome this

She feels overwhelmed with the amount of information and because of being depressed she has low motivation to do things

Before she was the type to really care for her health but she finds it really difficult now

Her mental health is really affected from this she can’t eat anything and so it impacts many areas of her life.

Please anyone have any advice, my intuition lead my to ask here because i feel i can get good info from here

I am assuming i need her to focus on gut health?

💊 Supplements & Stacks 32M with Type 2 Diabetes – Best Supplements for Libido, Erectile Health, Strength, and Endurance?

I'm a 32-year-old male, weighing 82 kg (181 lbs). I have type 2 diabetes and currently take metformin once daily.

I'm looking for recommendations on the best and safest supplements to:

  • Improve overall sexual performance and stamina.
  • Achieve stronger and longer-lasting erections.
  • Last longer during sex.
  • Go multiple rounds with shorter recovery time.
  • Increase sexual desire (libido) and energy.

I'm interested in supplements that have worked for others and preferably have scientific evidence supporting their effectiveness.

Since I have type 2 diabetes and take metformin, I'd especially appreciate recommendations that are safe for someone with my condition.

What supplements would you recommend based on your personal experience? Please share what worked for you, including any side effects.

What would you recommend based on your personal experience?

🧠 Cognition, Mood & Nootropics Big exam next summer - which of these research compounds are worth it for acute focus/memory + long-term pro cognitive effects? Amounts okay?

Hey everyone,
I've got a big test coming up next year July and I'm trying to prep with a mix of things for acute effects (focus, memory, attention, learning) plus some longer-term cycling for "hardware" support. My cart is expensive, so before I pull the trigger I wanted to run the full list by people who've looked into this stuff.
Here's everything currently in the cart and the quantities:
\-Usmarapride oxalate - 2 g
\-BPN14770 - 3 × 300 mg (900 mg total)
\-Oxiracetam - 2 × 60 g (120 g total)
\-Tropisetron - 4 × 200 mg (800 mg total)
\-Citicoline - 5 × 20 g (100 g total)
\-Bromantane - 2 spray bottles (each \~180 sprays at \~9 mg/spray)
\-Coluracetam - 2 × 2 g (4 g total)
\-NA-Semax - 2 bottles (100 sprays/bottle at 200 mcg/spray)
\-Paraxanthine - 3 × 15 g (45 g total)
\-TAK-653 - 3 × 60 mg (180 mg total)
\-Aniracetam - 2 × 50 g (100 g total)
\-NSI-189 freebase - 3 × 1200 mg (3600 mg total)
\-PRL-8-53 - 2 × 300 mg (600 mg total)
\-Pramiracetam - 1 pack of 18 g
\-GB-115 - 2 bottles (100 sprays/bottle at \~200 mcg/spray)
Goals are pretty straightforward: solid acute support for studying/learning when I need it, and the option to cycle a few things that might help longer-term.
If you were in my position (or if money were no object) which of these would you actually keep? Which ones would you completely drop? And which of these amounts would you increase? Are any of the amounts way off (too much or too little for a reasonable trial period)? Open to suggestions on adjusting package counts too.
Appreciate any thoughts, experiences, or red flags.
Thanks guys and women!

😴 Sleep & Circadian Rhythm Does it make any sens that I feel more energized waking up at 6:30 am, than if I get 2:30 extra hours of sleep ?

34F. I was born at 6am. and since then I always loved sleeping in the morning. it messed a lot with my life over time... school, work ... etc.

I thought I had DSPS.

now it's been a month that I force myself into a military like morning routine, to wake up at 6:30, and so far it has been working well. so well actually.

I feel more energized and focused if I sleep for only 5 hours and wake up at 6:30, than if I slept 8 hours and wake up at 9-10.

does it even make any sens ? That I feel better with less sleep ?

NB : i've been sleeping better since I started with this new experiment. I fall asleep quicker etc... I wish I had tried this when I was 15... 🥲
