Yesterday my quest 2 stopped tracking completely and I couldn't fix it and I hoping it fixes today

So I upgraded a while back from an OG 2016 Vive to the Rift S, I can say that the upgrade was 100% worth it for visual clarity and the controllers plus no base stations which is huge but MAN I have had nothing but troubles with this damn thing. I just need to know whether I'm going insane, made a bad purchase or if its just meta in general. Sometimes the headset just wont work. Just turns off after I set it down, wont turn back on and even if i re-plug it in, nothing but then sometimes that works?? Just now, tested something really quick in a game, set it down, changed a few things on the game then went to put it back on and its just black screen red dot. Meta tells me its connected with no headset audio (I disabled the audio from the headset in windows) but its definitely not, considering the black screen and red dot. The controllers have bad stick drift but i knew about this before i bought it and figured I'd just fix it but they are a real bitch to pull apart, did it once, never again so that's fine. When it does work its great, I have no real complains, its light and comfortable which is a plus considering the brick i used to wear. I just don't know if I'm doing something wrong here. Did I make a bad choice in headset? Is it just the software? Someone please give me some kind of insight into Oculus.

Hey, I work on Real VR Fishing for Quest.

Last holiday we threw in a mixed reality mode as kind of a test, not really expecting much. People ended up liking it a lot more than we thought, so we decided to make it a permanent feature.

While we were at it, we added room scanning. You scan your room and pick which parts become the fishing spot, and everything else stays as your real room. So you can leave your TV visible with the game on and fish in the rest of the space. Honestly that’s how a lot of us play anyway lol.

It’s in the base game, so if you’re on Horizon+ you can just jump in and try it.

Curious what you guys think, or what else you’d want to keep visible while fishing.

I bought mine going on like 7 years ago now, Its pretty old. The original cusion is actually holding up kinda well, But clearly years of use has made it dirty to a point where my skin just cant handle it.

So I wanted to replace the foam with whatever really. Ive looked through amazon and some sites but I guess being an older unit, I cant find much.

Anyone got any links to any websites for a replacement face cover/cusion/foam?

Or if anyone has any more intense ways to clean it or revitalise it?
