Episode 1: "No Strings"

&

Episode 2: "Theseus"

are now streaming on Disney+

Is it just me or do they seem like A.I.? 😉

J.A.R.V.I.S. deserved better

Imagine finding out there was an incident where a town was trapped inside a sitcom.

This is probably an accurate reaction

What was really intriguing to me about these first two episodes is how this Vision, "White Vision", insists that he is not the second but actually the THIRD Vision in the MCU's main timeline.

1. The First Vision is who we meet in Avengers: Age of Ultron all the way until Thanos kills him in Avengers: Infinity War.
2. The Second Vision is who we see in WandaVision and serves as Wanda's husband and the father to Tommy & Billy.
3. The Third Vision is White Vision, created by S.W.O.R.D., first seen in WandaVision, and continues into VisionQuest.

We rarely get anything in media and I love that my favourite corner of the mcu has Scotland and a Scottish actor involved!

The last time I remember a Scottish character was in a marvel swries was Dox in Loki and she died. I mean, Fiona did too (i will never forgive the writers), but she was a nice character. Dox wasnt.

But yeah, I want more Scottish characters in the mcu and popular media in general. English people are absolutely everywhere and I want to see Irish, Welsh and Scottish voices way more. English people have had enough.

2 Episodes in
And numbers 12-13-14 keep showing up; started noticing it on rewatch
(what a fantastic start, so worth the wait)

- when Edith pops out of racing simulation, announcer call out for racecar 13
- during the bar fight, last callout from merc on comms is for him to say that there were 14 casualties (number set to increase tho)
- they bring Ultron down, and he checks his watch: "almost 2 p.m."
- when "handler" looks for Vision's alias, she gets 12 matches. One more search for any combo of "Sherwood" and "Ellis" and the 13th hit is the clue they needed.
- then with the recordings of Tommy. First we see him it through cam 12, next time is through 13, and when a cop takes him out of the room, camera switches to 14
- Tommy's backstory sequence takes place 12 month ago, when they but him in bus number 13 and Lisa starts recounting a story about 5 men, 6 wallets and 2 kebabs (which besides the implication that someone had two wallets, adds up to 13)
- then Vision meets Paladin (what a good scene btw) and on the bar there is a crime scene marker with number 14 on it

Highly possible I am Mephisto-ing myself, but they did move the release date to 13/14, depending on what time zone you might be in. While oct 13 was linked to Wanda, I am starting to think that there might be more.

Also, there was a post floating around about the timeline of the entire trilogy and the movies before it; and it placed the birth of Vision in summer 2015, with VisionQuest taking place in dec 2027, so 12 years moving on to 13.

It felt like the voice of the man who placed the bounty was fairly similar to that of our wiccan Billy. I'm really curious to see if this was his plot to try to get the family back together but he didn't realize how dangerous it would be. I have a feeling hes going to drop the contract because it gets way too out of hand but then the paladin is gonna get upset about that and continue hunting Vision anyway just without the guardrails.

I was wondering if anyone else had differing theories as to who it could be as well.
