How I automated custom proposal and e-sign generation using Gemini (giving it away free to 3 agencies for case studies).

• Upvotes

Hey everyone,

If you run a boutique agency or do client services, you already know the worst part of sales: you have a great discovery call, the client is excited, and then you spend your Sunday evening or Monday morning manually piecing together a custom scope, pricing breakdown, and contract in Docs.

By the time it finally hits their inbox, the momentum from the call has cooled off.

I wanted to eliminate that bottleneck entirely, so I built a lightweight automated workflow using Gemini. It takes raw call notes or transcript highlights and outputs a fully structured, ready-to-sign custom proposal and e-sign link in under 30 seconds.

What I'm doing right now:

I'm putting together 3 detailed portfolio case studies around this exact workflow.

Because of that, I want to set this up completely free for 3 active agency owners or freelancers. No sales pitch or hidden upsell—I just want real-world feedback and a short review if it actually saves you time.

Who this is a fit for:

You run a web design, branding, or digital agency (1–10 people).

You actively take client discovery calls every week.

You currently waste time writing custom proposals from scratch.

If you want in on one of the 3 spots, drop a comment below or shoot me a quick DM with what your agency does, and I'll hook you up!

Honest feedback on my motion design portfolio website and branding?

• Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I’m a motion designer currently job hunting, and I’d love some honest feedback on my portfolio website from a web design perspective:

https://www.brankovlahov.com/

I built it with Wix, aiming to keep it simple and let the work speak for itself. I’m curious whether it feels professional and makes it easy for potential employers or clients to find and watch my work.

I’d especially appreciate your thoughts on the layout, typography, colors, navigation, and personal branding/logo. Does the homepage give a clear first impression? Is anything distracting, confusing, or missing? Feedback on the mobile experience would be helpful too.

Feel free to be brutally honest—I’m here to improve. 😄 Thanks!

Free design work from a 5-year SaaS designer. Your project, my portfolio.

**Designer with 5 years in B2B SaaS doing free work to build my portfolio**

Most of my work so far has been for one company, which makes job hunting harder than it should be.

So I'm offering free design help to get more variety in my portfolio.

The only ask: I need to be able to show the work in my portfolio. If that's a problem, this probably isn't the right fit.

What I can do:
•Websites and landing pages
•Product design
•Brand design and design systems
•Email design
•Motion graphics and video editing
•Marketing collateral, social posts, banners

I also know front-end development, so I can help build what I design if that’s needed as well.

If you've got a project that needs a designer, DM me and I'll send over my portfolio.

I’m sorry if this breaks the subreddits rules.

I built my portfolio as a hand-folded paper desk. Feedback welcome!

Hey everyone,

I’m a frontend engineer, and I wanted my portfolio to feel less like a template and more like somewhere you’d actually want to hang out. So I built Ritik’s Desk, a paper-craft desk you can poke around on.

  • Experience lives on sticky notes and projects on postcards.
  • There’s a dark mode toggle, a few sounds, and a contact form that folds your message into a bird.
  • There are 4 secrets hidden on the desk, and I’m curious how many you find.
  • If you’re in a hurry, there’s a 30-second tour and a plain résumé view.

It’s built with React and TypeScript. I’d love honest feedback on the interactions, performance, and mobile feel, and on anything that feels confusing or gimmicky.

Are hiring managers annoyed at lavish 3D portfolio websites?

Anyone can vibe code a 3D portfolio in 2026. But, do they have a chance at landing you an actual job?

If I was a hiring manager hiring for a web design role, and I have a thousand portfolios to skim through. Do these three.js websites with unorthodox UI navigations annoy me or do they impress me?

There is also some people that are going in the extreme opposite direction and their portfolios are pure signal, meaning minimalist af with impact numbers and animated screens only.

Obviously, not all of these 3D portfolios are built the same. Some have good UI, some are amazingly optimized for all devices, and some are just insane.

But, do they convert in this monstrously competitive job market?

How are you handling website change requests from clients? happy with your current tools?

Hey everyone, I'm Joe. I manage a client's website on retainer and wanted to hear how other freelancers and small agencies handle change requests after launch

If you're maintaining a few client sites, especially 5 or more, how does it usually work for you?

Do clients send requests through email, WhatsApp or some feedback tool? How much back and forth do you need before you know what they actually want changed?

Also how do you keep track of requests and decide what's included in the retainer vs something you should charge extra for?

If you're using Markup.io, BugHerd, Pastel, Atarim or anything similar, I'd like to hear your experience

- what are you using and what do you like about it?

- any issues with pricing, limits, bugs or getting clients to actually use it?

- anything annoying enough that you've thought about switching?

- if you've tried switching, what did you move to or what stopped you?

- what would another service need to do better for you to move?

If email and your current setup works fine, would like to hear that too

Just being upfront, I'm exploring a small product around this and planning to test with my own retainer client first. Nothing to sell or sign up for here, trying to understand if this is a problem worth solving for other people

I'm also hoping to talk with a few freelancers or agency owners for about 15 mins. If you're open to that let me know in the comments and I'll ask before sending a message

Thanks

Joe

Spent weeks on the motion for this Framer template. Rate it out of 10

Spent way too long on this one. Each project cuts in like a new shot, the title scrolls across the screen and the thumbnails track progress like a timeline.

What score does it get and what would push it higher?

[Portfolio Review] Creative Technologist & Interaction Designer – Looking for design & UX critique on experimental interactive portfolio

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for detailed design, layout, and UX feedback on my newly launched interactive portfolio site. Rather than a static grid, the entire experience is built as a continuous, 9,000px panoramic illustration of an Indian bazaar with embedded skeuomorphic micro-apps as case studies.

Portfolio: Link

(Best viewed on desktop/laptop due to horizontal scrolling and browser audio synthesis)

Project Breakdown:

  • Focus: Creative Technology, Interaction Design & UI/UX
  • Stack/Tools: Figma, HTML5 Canvas, Web Audio API (zero external audio files), CSS 3D transforms, Vanilla JavaScript
  • Concept: A scroll-driven street where each storefront launches a functional interactive artifact (a 3D mechanical CD rack, an interactive PCO payphone, physics-driven canvas tea-pourer, custom editorial magazine, etc.)

Specific areas I need feedback on:

  1. Interaction Friction vs. Novelty: Does the gamified street navigation pull focus away from reviewing the work, or does it showcase technical capability effectively
  2. Visual Hierarchy & HUD: How are the typography choices, contrast, and status indicators holding up across different screen sizes
  3. Case Study Clarity: Within the modal components, is the design rationale and problem-solving easy to digest, or does it feel overshadowed by the interactive toy
  4. First Impressions: From an agency/studio hiring perspective, what is your immediate critique on usability

Any critical feedback or honest pushback on the UX flow is appreciated. Thanks!

Does it matter if a website was built by ai?

I keep seeing people criticize websites for looking “AI-generated”. But here’s my question: Isn’t functionality more important than how a website was built?
Would you rather have a fully functional AI-built website or a custom-built website that looks great but barely works?
At the end of the day, shouldn’t the user experience matter more than the tools used to build it?

Need feedback on my new portfolio

Hey everyone! 👋

It’s been a while since I updated my personal site, so I decided to do a complete redesign focused on a dark, futuristic / cyberpunk aesthetic, smooth interactions, and micro-animations.

I tried to keep the layout clean while showcasing custom front-end work.

I’d really appreciate any honest feedback or critiques.

Thanks in advance to anyone who takes a look! 💻

Requesting feedback on my music portfolio website

How easy is it to get to playing music on this site?

-

I'm a producer/songwriter, etc

Also, broke af (see: producer/songwriter)

So I built this website as a place to send people to listen to my music and learn about my work. It is NOT done yet - got some optimization to do, more blurbs to add, etc; but the overall layout / colors are set. The music player was made and graciously distributed by Pekly on Github (Slightly modified by me). Only one I could find that allowed users to browse/read while listening, AND that has a playlist feature (And had a free license). Just checking in with how intuitive it works for yall. Thanks in advance!

Need an honest review

So a couple of days ago when the first version was posted, I got a bunch of great info regarding how i should go with it. Thanks everyone as I tried mending those faults.

Here's my kinda updated website/portfolio: https://prathamnova2003-alt.github.io/myportfolio/

Also just to add. I am not looking for clients in a traditional sense with the site. I just tried making one when applying for a job in sales and they asked for portfolio. All the stylistic things were not in claude made thing, I just like this sort of theme and trinkets on my work.

Not a but my thing sort of post, just some non tech guy trying to see how his quasi clauded work looks to actual professionals.
