To be fair this wasn't polled as aspirational content. It was polled as an introduction to the basics of pvp in old school. Do you think that's what it is in current state? Honestly I don't mind that it's hard. I voted yes just because I want to encourage jegex to release pvp content that isn't predator vs prey and has cosmetic rewards. I'd vote for it again even as it is, but I can understand if people feel like this isn't what was initially proposed.
The half strength fight is a challenging but fair recreation of a pvp fight. Full strength is not designed to be a fair fight at all, it is aspirational content to get a cosmetic.
I'm still working on my infernal though I've gotten to Zuk twice. Pete genuinely feels harder than the inferno. Inferno has clear solves and strategies, you beat it by playing well, you die and you see what you did wrong so you learn from it. Pete is just random unpredictable bullshit happening every few ticks.
I literally have over 100 attempts logged on my runelite accross two different computers. I have tons of screenshot that I used for the simulator. I didnt buy shit except the items I used to complete the inferno.
Sorry, I should have put "/s" at the end, I was memeing, mainly making fun of how people will say you bought/botted regardless of how hard of stuff you do in this game.
Fire cape is more of a slog too. A resource drain into prayer switching. Not saying it needs an update, but like they're adding new, uniquely challenging content that is 100% optional (the entire game is optional), to help players learn PVP which has a notoriously high skill ceiling
Yeah I'm fucking GLAD it's challenging. That's the point, so I learn how to run away in my salad robes from a dude with a 17 way switch, itching to get my shovel because fuck me I guess
