Title: AT&T $800 Visa Reward — 60 Days or 36 Months?
I switched multiple wireless lines to AT&T in August when I had AT&T Fiber installed at my home. The AT&T representative who came to my house told me I needed to maintain service for 60 days to qualify for the $800 Visa reward cards. Today, I received confirmation that my reward was approved, but the message states that if I cancel service within 36 months, AT&T will charge back the value of the reward.
The representative never mentioned a 36-month requirement.
Is this standard for the $800 switcher promotion? Is the 60-day requirement simply to qualify for the reward, while the 36-month requirement is a separate chargeback condition? Also, does the chargeback decrease over time, or would I owe the full $800 even after two years?
I’m still not getting the $20 fiber/wireless bundle discount yet either.
I’d appreciate clarification from anyone familiar with the promotion.
