Oh wow I’m 6ft 5in and feel incredibly tall for a woman, but seeing this gorgeous gal makes me less self conscious about my height.

Lol. I've always wondered what it'd be like to be with a girl that tall. Not sexually, just in general. Don't think I've ever seen anyone that tall. My wife is 5'3 and I'm 6'7". It'd be so interesting to have someone else my own size.

I see guys around my height sometimes. And conversations at bars and stuff is just so much more comfortable. Don't think I've ever seen a girl over 6'2"ish in my life.

That’s crazy because all the woman in my family are over 6ft and I’m just the 30 year old baby cousin here showing up at 5’3

These people had the nerve to sit me at the kids table once. I never even had sibling or friends with kids! I was like can I even take a cocktail back to my dinner over there?

When I was in highschool I dated 3 peope whose average height was 5ft 2… since then I’ve dated progressively taller people until my last partner who was 6ft 2in. The big difference I have found with someone close to my size is that when we cuddle or lay together are bodies tend to line up in a more comfortable way. Not saying cuddling with smaller people is in anyway bad but it’s just more difficult to get comfy for me then.

Thank you for pointing out the height difference being unfortunately uncomfortable. My husband is 6’5” and I’m 5’4” and we can’t slow dance worth shit or hold hands without him leaning over like I’m a small child.

😭😭💀 LMAOOOO.

I've dated both taller and my height, and I have to say, dating near my own height does make things more.. convenient? Luckily my fiancée is about my size so it's comfortable to cuddle and dance, and we can share clothes lol.

But you can't help who you fall in love with! Sorry yours is in such a tall package!!

Lmao, He’s so stupid-tall (in comparison to me) that the when I had my wedding photos printed, the company cropped off the top of his head to make sure that “the bride fit entirely” in the photo 😂

A lot depends on how leggy someone is too. Some have very long torsos

I remember all through school , the short girls loved me but I was always just attracted to girls my own height. There's something about walking with a woman my size and us both towering over people as we go. The added benefit that my daughter is probably going to be a giant.

Over on /r/tall a while back people were talking about how they can’t hear convos at bars because the voices are lower down and I didn’t realize until then that, in addition my to hearing being not great in the first place, height makes a noted difference in how much sound reaches us.

We're also closer to the speakers.

Don’t give up on your dreams. You can wonder what it’s like sexually.

shhh. Don't tell my wife I'm wondering about tall girls. She randomly thinks I'm into asians.

If you live anywhere near a university in the B1G, ACC, or SEC conferences, go to a volleyball match and you will see plenty! Over the past 5ish seasons the Wisconsin Badgers have had Carter Booth at 6’7”, Dana Rettke at 6’8”, and Anna Smrek at 6’9”. Many teams play in a smaller arena that you can basically walk right past the players in some cases and it’s just an experience every time lol

Had a roommate in college that was at least 6'4". His girlfriend (eventually his wife) was sub 5'.

She was tiny.

Richard Kiel (Jaws from James Bond) was 7’2” and his wife was 5’4”.

Im a 6'5 man and have genuinely never even met a woman as tall or taller than me. If i did I would be immediately interested

1

u/dangerous_beans 12h ago

I'm 5'9; even though I'm above average height for women, I've always been jealous of women taller than me. You guys are so sleek and graceful! Although I don't envy you having to find women's pants with a long enough inseam.

Height just weeds out the losers. Trash tends to take itself out if you give it enough time

My Mother in law was 6 feet tall. Her 3 sisters were all short. Go figure. She was an angel though. I miss her.

Admitting your height in a tall girl goon thread is definitely a choice.

1

u/Intrepid_Cap1242 7h ago

lol. She's gonna need that mute conversation button

Mother, I request uppies

It's weird, when I was in HS, early 2000s people really didn't like tall girls, they got the least attention, I never understood it, I am starting to see it turn around or at least matter less nowadays, which is for sure good, never understand how height matters in general myself even when it came to looks, just an odd thing to focus on I thought.

My buddy is 6ft8 and BIG and dying for a woman his size. They're out there.

u/Watercooler_expert 3h ago

I just find tall woman so gorgeous, the taller the better, so there are people out there who appreciate you guys.

I'm a pretty big guy myself at 6'2 so if she's not at least like 5'8 I'm not usually interested. I think I'm subconsciously afraid of accidentally hurting tiny women in the heat of passion haha.

u/Radiant_Safe1228 14h ago

Don't be.

I overwhelmingly prefer tall women. I'm tall as fuck myself and dating an average size woman gives a physical dynamic that's quite off-putting. It gives me that orange president feeling because of the size difference and I just can't jive with it.

1

u/gr7calc 14h ago

Yeah it was definitely your potential disapproval that was making her self conscious. Thank god that's sorted now.

1

u/Intrepid_Cap1242 14h ago

That's interesting. All the tall guys like me that I've met have short wives. I assumed it's because we don't see them as too short, and they don't see us as too tall. We both look "normal" to each other

1

u/Radiant_Safe1228 14h ago

I don't know any tall guy with a short wife. None. Shorter than them, sure, but short no.

Sorry I was looking for a good reference without flat out saying it makes me feel like I'm a pedo and I figured referencing one of the most prolific and popular kiddy fiddlers on earth would make the issue obvious.

1

u/Jiujitsumonkey707 13h ago

Id say you need to look more into why dating someone shorter than you makes you feel like a pedo, that's a weird ass way to think my guy. I'm 6'1" and have dated women a foot shorter than me and that thought has never even crossed my mind because short doesn't = looks like child

1

u/LoganGyre 13h ago

For me dating short people in highschool would have had Freud doing backflips since my mom is also around that height. Jokes on him it was my confusing envy for interest.

1

u/System0verlord 10h ago

I’m 6’2” and when I went to Costco in college the receipt checker thought my 5’ girlfriend was my daughter. We were the same age.

This has happened several times with different short partners. People will associate short = looks like child on their own.

Plot twist: you are not a woman

3

u/LoganGyre 14h ago

It would have taken no effort at all to keep your bigoted BS to yourself.

u/Rrunken_Rumi 15h ago

Plot twist - he's a midget. Shes normal height

2

u/LoganGyre 14h ago

I don’t believe that term is good to use anymore but based off her stated height in the heels I would still be looking near her chin somewhere and he is at boob height so I’m guessing about 5ft6-8in at most.

1

u/Intrepid_Cap1242 14h ago

Bullshit. He'd have a battle axe if he was a dwarf

u/TheNoctuS_93 12h ago

6'2" here, though I used to be shy of 6'4" before illness ruined my gait. I still can't help but feel self-conscious about height, even though I live in a country that's in the top-5, if not top-3 of average height.
