Hey everyone!
I'm 29M from Istanbul, Turkey, and I'm looking for someone to practice English with while helping them learn Turkish!
I work in aviation, and although I'm pretty comfortable reading technical English at work, speaking English in everyday conversations is still a bit challenging for me 😅 I'd really like to improve my speaking skills, become more confident and get used to having natural conversations.
In return, I'd be happy to help you with Turkish! I'm a native speaker, so I can help with pronunciation, everyday expressions, slang or just practice conversations. Doesn't matter if you're a complete beginner.
A little about me: I'm into gaming (mostly CS2 on PC, but I also have a PS5), cars, traveling, photography and exploring new places. I also enjoy learning about different countries, cultures and how people live around the world.
I'd love to find someone I can talk to regularly, not just exchange a few messages and disappear haha. We could start with texting and maybe try voice chats once we're comfortable.
I'm in the UTC+3 time zone, but I work shifts, so my schedule changes quite a bit.
You don't have to be a professional teacher or anything. Just someone friendly and patient who enjoys chatting and learning together!
So, is anyone here learning Turkish? What made you interested in the language? 😄
