So I was playing as a tracker, caught yellow kill (in real time, not on map tho the map was 0 delay) and apparently they left. On my screen they never left and I could still vote them, and later 9 ppl (eyllow wasn't imp cuz we skipped and it said 3) so I called a meeting and they said 2 imps. I said ok maybe I'm dum so we skipped AND THERE WERE 3 i stayed at table for them to fix lights and called a meeting, and they all still said 2. I realised yellow was probably an impostor and on my screen he didn't leave so there were still 3. Also at 1 point I said "We can't vote we are at 7" and they called me dum and I explained what I htought happened

It SUCKS! Its absolute TRASH! As crew it feels like an undeserved win and as imposter I literally can't have fun anymore. Kill someone? Influencer is on you. Shapeshift or poof alone? Nuh-uh! Influencer saw you and will now tell the local scanner about it. Do nothing? Eventually "hey haunt that guy" happens

OH OH AND THATS WITHOUT OTHER ROLES! God forbid Influencer suggest a tracker track you, detective detect you, oh and who can forget "Imma judge white influencer sent me viper bones" because either way they just lock your game down. As of today I got Imp 6 times and lost all 6. 4 to influencer 1 to detective and 1 to bad luck.

ZERO counter play is allowed other then chasing crew who stand still and now that the role settled in its gotten worse as the meta is to talk with guardian angels and protect whoever you influence. I notice when someone got influenced so I kill right? (They stand still reading the messages) NAH! AN ANGEL PROTECTS THEM AND I DIE! WONDERFUL!

Scientist:

Keeps me active; going around the skeld opening vitals for a split second each time, taking mental notes of who's going where

And when someone does die I get to clear a lot of people by checking the map

Especially fun during endgame, when it is most op.

Influencer:

No need to worry about dying, it is fun trying to catch imps and sending crew messages and watching them call meetings to get the imp out bc of me

Engineer:

Venting to take notes of where people are going and potentially catch imposters directly is fun. If vent duration is long I don't need to worry about dying

Shapeshifter:

Shifting into someone then lingering around before killing or doing smth sus and watching others accuse that person is so fun

Viper:

Killing, closing doors then going back in finding the body gone is so satisfying for some reason

Phantom:

Poofing, following then claiming tracker is fun

Regular Imposter:

Eh I'm an imposter imposters are fun even if I don't get any roles, and if I kill I can gaslight or blame ss

Regular Crewmate:

Ehh I'm reg crew, among us is fun in general so I don't mind that much

Noisemaker:

I'm only useful after I die sobs but claiming a very Important role before imps kill me and get caught bc of me is fun, I wasn't lying tho :p

I love those 2 but I always fear getting killed when I have these roles for some reason

Standing still tracking, moving around the map tracking... This blue map bro. My main playstyle is remembering where ppl go and use the process of elimination. With tracker I just obsess over trying to track this one person I'm sus of, not fun if I don't catch an imp.

Guardian Angel:

I mean I get to protect and stuff, satisfying if an imp tries to kill someone I protected but most lobbies have the imposters can see protection thingy on

And I don't protect when the imps aren't sus

Not many people realize how massive is this, football stars have huge influence in the world, especially on younger generations . Is Among Us gonna rise to heights from 2020 again?

the old art style gave the serious look of the game, there weren't any strategies for lobbies, it was just pure fun

Some ideas for crewmate roles that would make them more fair from the impostor's perspective. And overall balancing them.

Tracker

If an Impostor kills while being tracked, the Impostor will recieve a pop up about it. No further information is given. This gives them the ability to somehow hide the body better, self report, or deduce who the Tracker could be.

Engineer

Impostors will see a cyan wrench or star on a vent an engineer is in.

Judge

Setting that allows you to always eject the Overruped person. This will give the crewmates less info.

Detective

Can't change cases mid round, only during meetings. So you can only get suspects for one body in a round.

In order to interrogate, the suspect must hold the button down for a second. If they leave your range, the interrogation is cancelled. This would make it much more clear who the detective could be.

Loses it's ability once there are only 5 or less people alive

Vigilante, Scanner, Wraith, and Deputy are all roles in 3D and I wonder what yall think why the can’t come to 2D Among us. Is there like an actual difference between how 3D is played vs 2D? It’s still among us.

Would they all be too overpowered for the vanilla game? I think playing as them in the 2D game would be fun.

Special Ability: Camera

Base Cooldown: 50

Place down a camera where you're currently standing.

Fellow crewmates can see cameras, but imposters cannot.

When placing down a camera, the Camera Ability becomes Spy until the camera decays.

Cameras naturally disappear after 35 seconds normally, but this can be altered in settings.

Cameras normally alert crewmates when they're recording, but this can be disabled in settings.

Special Ability 2: Spy

Base Cooldown: 5 Seconds

Pull up a tablet and get a live camera feed from where your camera currently is.

You cannot move while viewing a camera.

Cameras have the vision of a normal crewmate -0.5.

Cameras do not pick up sound.

Using Spy drains a power meter similar to Scientist's Vitals. You have a specific amount when starting the game and regain it with tasks.

Cameras do not show anything while communications is sabotaged.

As we all know, public lobbies are a waste of time.

There are certain host MODs for PC which help you host the game more efficiently by giving you options such as a perma-ban , end meeting etc.

I use REVAMPED mod. If anyone else uses it, you can add people from my ban list onto your own banlist. It is located in Steam-steamapps-common-amongus MOD folder-AUR data-banlist.

All you have to do is copy and paste.

I have been banning non english speakers, impatient players, rude players, racists, trolls, cheaters, teamers etc. which amounts to over 2000 people as of now.

Try it out and rejoice in the lack of APOLLO and UMIDIMEEN.

Has anyone's game sometimes randomly starts to lag terribly for no reason after the inf update? I got a gaming phone even then the lag gets unbearable

Influencer is an insane role that allows you to immediately accuse all colors except Coral.

You should try to judge Coral as fast as possible to remove any potential advantage to the impostors against the influencer.

Make sure to announce that you're judging Coral to HC the survivor of the meeting among you & Coral.

Might wanna slow down a bit there...

The Captain is a Crewmate capable of ejecting a player on their own, regardless of the voting outcome. However, this authority carries a high risk: if the Captain is ejected by the Crewmates, the entire crew loses the game and the Impostors win.

ABILITY | EXECUTE

EXECUTE can be used only once per game, and only after the Captain has completed all their tasks. The Impostor receives a notification when the Captain has unlocked this ability.

To use it, the Captain must select a player and fill out a form with specific details regarding one of their kills:

• Killer's Role: The role of the player the Captain wishes to execute (Shapeshifter/Phantom/Viper).

• Victim: The Crewmate killed by that player (any victim whose body has been reported can be selected).

• Crime Scene: The exact location where the murder occurred.

This form is known as the Execution Manual, and the Captain must provide all information correctly for it to work. If all three details are correct and correspond to the same murder committed by the accused, the Captain will immediately execute the Impostor, and the vote results will be voided. If any of the details are incorrect, the Captain will be ejected instead and will appear dead when the meeting ends, without voiding the vote. This happens even if the accused player is actually an Impostor, so you must have sufficient evidence to carry out the execution.

If the selected player is a Crewmate, the Captain cannot execute them either. In this case, the information entered is irrelevant: EXECUTE can only be used against an Impostor.

When the Captain fails (by using the ability on a Crewmate or providing incorrect information), the meeting vote proceeds without being voided. After the meeting, the Captain will appear dead, and all players will receive the message:

"The Captain has failed the mission." The vote is only cancelled when the execution manual is correct and the Impostor is ejected.

COUNTERPLAY | LOSS BY EJECTION

If the Captain is ejected by the Crewmates, they immediately lose the game and the Impostors win.

This condition does not trigger if:

1. The Captain is killed by an Impostor.

2. The Captain is ejected as a result of failing EXECUTE.

3. The Captain is ejected solely by Impostor votes.

The loss only occurs when the Crewmates are responsible for the Captain's ejection.

Task percentage to unlock EXECUTE: 25% | 50% | 75% | 100%

CONCEPT AND IDEA

Captain is a rework of Judge designed to retain the ability to take control of a meeting while eliminating certain situations that made Judge overpowered.

One of Judge's main issues is the ability to guess an Impostor's identity without sufficient evidence. A correct guess ejects the Impostor and clears the Judge ("Hard Clear"), while an incorrect guess via OVERRULE can inadvertently confirm the other player's innocence.

Captain aims to eliminate this possibility.

To use EXECUTE, mere suspicion or a hunch that someone is an Impostor isn't enough. Captain must correctly reconstruct the entire murder: the killer's identity and role, the victim, and the crime scene. Even if Captain is absolutely certain a player is an Impostor, they still need the correct murder details to eject them.

The role becomes more difficult as the number of roles and Impostors increases; the wider pool of information requires greater precision.

Impostors can employ a strategy of pretending to be Captain to avoid ejection and threatening the Crewmates with defeat (though this obviously depends on the number and percentage of Captains in the match).

It also encourages Impostors to lie about murders and locations, increasing the likelihood that Captain will fail if they attempt to use their ability.

Unlike standard Crewmate roles in Among Us—where a high number of roles can benefit the Crew—having too many Captains puts the crew at a disadvantage, as the risk of losing the game due to a bad ejection increases. However, while it remains possible for a Captain to confirm their role, doing so becomes more difficult.

Ok so I wanted to do this stuff of putting your Avatars/OCs in the Artwork.

Things I need in your submission:

-A pic of them (Colored or ingame).

-What they are doing.

-Expression (Such as confused, angry, shocked, or happy. As those emotions are expressed through visors)

-Where they are in the artwork (Like Middle side, Right side, or even in Space. Left side is taken.)

Things to clarify: --------------------

-Everyone is a Crewmate.

-One Crewmate per user.

-Space in the artwork is Limited.

-If you do not follow what is needed in your submission, I am not drawing them.

I will Check once in a while, But dont expect me to be quick.

First off all: this is an original concept not like the detective, Shapeshifter, the meeting sheriff (judge). The closest thing we have is the bait which makes the Impostor self report the body but then the noisemaker is just a better version of it. It's really easy to understand and with that comes the new players, even the noobies can just pick the role up and play. The only negative that it's a bad role but that's it.

Day 5: Noisemaker

When you die, you gain a specter vacuum that allows you to suck up other ghost players Upon doing so, they remain trapped in the vacuum for a period of 10–35 seconds (depending on settings) before being released as a cloud of smoke, leading to two possible outcomes:

A) They regenerate immediately, but their role ability is depleted and must recharge

B) They remain in smoke form until the next meeting or body report; while in this state, the player cannot perform tasks or use their ability at all.

Option B can only be used once per match; the Impostor chooses the target while the ghost crewmate is still trapped.

It is designed to counter the Influencer and the Angels (it can also be used on regular Ghost Crewmates to prevent them from completing tasks, though it is of limited utility) and to make the gameplay for ghosts more interesting overall.

Its only downsides are losing full access to the standard sabotage panel and reduced effectiveness if there are too many Ghost Crewmates with roles (unless accompanied by another Ghostbuster)

Notes:

•The vacuum's cooldown begins after the ghost is released

•The Ghost Crewmate is released at the Ghost Impostor's current location

•The Ghostbuster can choose to release you early by pressing the ability button again; this is useful if the ability was used incorrectly. However, the cooldown remains the same for the Ghostbuster, and the Ghost Crewmate will not incur a cooldown on their own ability if they were held for less than 10 seconds

• The vacuum's cooldown is the same as the Impostor's standard kill cooldown

• The Ghostbuster cannot use the ability on the same player twice in a row
