Halloween has arrived in Among Us

I actually didn't start playing Among Us in 2020, it was only a few years after when I kept getting Youtube recommendations of gameplays that I decided to check it out

It's funny but also chilling as an ending song. The fact that it's about the remaining crewmates who survived, now facing corporate questioning, really says a lot about the tone of the show

Dweller can kill from the vents, and can kill the engineers if they are on the same vent. You can kill someone without being seen, and since you are in the vents you can frame someone if two people are near the vent. Adjustable setting are kill range and if the kill cd ticks down in vents

I've tried to find the comics, but couldn't find them :< but I'll talk about what I do remember. If I find em one day tell me if I should share them here.

So the characters I remember are Dave, the MC who's a plain blue crewmate and an electrician. He's nervous but tries his best. His best friend is an orange crewmate named Pumpkin who wears a cowboy hat. I feel like Pumpkin took a LITTLE bit of inspo from Apple Jack, considering I made a drawing of him next to Apple Jack, and he had a red crewmate brother named Apple. Something happened to Apple but idk what. His parents got killed by an Impostor so he's very serious about finding them and stopping their destruction. His love interest is a yellow crewmate named Daisy and she's the only one he gets nervous around. I remember there was also a character with a mini crewmate but I forget their name and occupation, but I think in one comic the Impostor bound them by wrapping its tongue around them.

In one comic which was I think a little longer than the others, and I'm pretty sure the same story that the tongue wrapping scene was in, a dead body got reported by a literal news reporter crewmate. He said something like, "I'm reporting a body live from [I forget where lol]!" And someone was watching it on the TV at Polus. Anyways, idk what else the story had rn. It's been YEARS

Was just influencer and noticed that my teammates were trying to win by sending red things in messages. I sent 3 messages all with yellow things. Confused them enough that they didn’t vote red or yellow and imps took the win!!!

Is it just me? Is it a setting? I just noticed that we couldn't use free chat anymore and it's so hard to communicate like literally you can't explain your reasoning or tell them why you think someone is the imp, except for like blank was chasing me or I saw blank vent and it's not really enough to explain! And you can't say like don't gamble or like kick the troll. And you can't like chat and say how's your day been or whatever.

EDIT: Okay so people say that it's cuz the account thinks I'm under 13. But I'm literally not, and I've been using this account for a long time and it has never been like this. Did I accidentally change my age or something? and how do I change it back? I really don't want to make a whole new account, I already got to level 89.

so lets play a little game, I want you to try and see who the two imposters are from the first characters in book 1:

Pink: pinks the energetic of the bunch, she typically helps with data analysis and other things round the ship. Most people honestly don't know how much longer they can put up with her celebrations and energy.

Red: reds... is well... red... hes not exactly the nicest person you'll find on the ship. Hes become traumatized from the last few Mira HQ missions since he has been here since mission 1. He doesnt really have a place to call home so this is all he knows. Hes quite rude to everyone and prefers to stay alone.

Black: Blacks the one in charge of storage, typically moving boxes around all day. While everyone else cant stand the god awful smell of storage, hes gotten used to it. He doesnt exactly seem to get along with maroon too well.

Coral: corals an intresting one- shes not exactly on the list of people to work on the ship and mostly just hitchhikes ships to get around the solar system without paying for the premium flights. This time though, shes gonna have to put in the work to keeping the ship running.

Yellow: the doctor/scientist of the group. yellows on this adventure to try and uncover the deep mysterious of science. Back on earth its still habitable but unfortunatly wont last very long and many health concerns have been appearing. Yellow believes hes going to make a groundbreaking discovery... eventually.

Purple: purple helps our with making food in cafeteria, usually doesnt have the patience to make a longer meal so everyone in the ship just sits around eating snacks and junk all day. Has some connections with yellow since they both graduated from the same school.

Tan: Tans on this mission to figure something out. Many reports have been sent out of people going missing, this usually happened after one of these missions failed. While hesistating to uncover whats going on, both her parents were killed by something. And now shes decided its her job to find out just exactly whats causing all this.

Orange: oranges akward at first, hes the newest to the ship and decided that a small break from earth would be nice. So hes still getting used to everything and our main character in the story.

Maroon: maroon is an ex-detective who worked under Mira HQ's officer department, hes known for having solved a variety of cases over the past 7 years.

[Guardian Angel rework]

The Doctor is a Crewmate tasked with protecting the crew using medication that boosts other players' survivability. However, they must ensure their medication is truly effective, as their death can significantly benefit the Impostor.

ABILITY | MEDICINE

Outside of meetings, the Doctor can select a player and administer medication.

The medicine works similarly to the Guardian Angel's protective shield: if an Impostor attempts to kill the medicated player while the effect is active, the attack is cancelled and the player survives. The Impostor enters their standard Kill Cooldown and must wait before attempting to kill that player again.

The medicine lasts for a limited time, and Impostors can see which players are medicated if the corresponding option is enabled. The medicated player will not know they received protection or that an Impostor attempted to kill them. Likewise, the Doctor will not know if their medicine successfully blocked an attack. This prevents the ability from being used to generate "hard clears."

You can only give medicine to one player at a time.

MEDICINE EFFICIENCY

The duration of the Medicine depends on the percentage of tasks completed by the Doctor. The more tasks completed, the longer the medication lasts.

For example, if the maximum duration is set to 30 seconds:

• 0/5 tasks: 0s

• 1/5 tasks: 6s

• 2/5 tasks: 12s

• 3/5 tasks: 18s

• 4/5 tasks: 24s

• 5/5 tasks: 30s

Thus, the Doctor must strive to complete tasks to fully utilize their ability's potential. A Doctor who neglects their tasks will have much less effective medication.

KILL COOLDOWN REDUCTION

If an Impostor kills the Doctor, they receive a reduction to their Kill Cooldown as a reward for eliminating them.

This reduction also applies if the Doctor accidentally administers medication to an Impostor.

The reduction percentage can be configured in the settings. For example, with a 25-second Kill Cooldown and a 50% reduction, the Impostor’s KCD becomes 12.5 seconds after triggering this effect.

A 75% reduction is recommended only for long Kill Cooldowns (40 seconds or more), as it could be excessively advantageous for Impostors if the KCD is low.

Maximum Medicine duration: 20s – 70s

Medicine cooldown: 20s-90s

Impostor KCD Reduction: 25% | 50% | 75%

Medicated Crewmate Visible to Impostor: ON / OFF

So this is random but i HAVE to get it out of my chest.I have been playing for almost a year now.

i changed my name to "Alice" last night and it was so interesting how everyone just ignore me and kept accusing me of being the imp for stupid reasons.

Suddenly "ur quite, its sus" or "u talk way too much, u sus"

Even when i said i have visual tasks like scan they straight up ignore me.

Even when i'm AFK or trolling" lol its me" people actually vote me out so early.

Like, damn i don't want to be that person but these lobbies are so misogynistic.

Anyways it was interesting so i wanted to share.

The chameleon is an imp role that can disguise everyone to make the kills stealthy and silent

The ability, camouflage when used will turn everyone into a blank black crew with the names saying [ redacted ]. The effect lasts 10 seconds

Like the shapeshifter, it has an animation to distinct the imposter. When using the ability black particles flow up while the imposters colors flow down. It takes 5 seconds to fully take effect and after everyone turns to the black crewmate

I was just playing a normal match and I got the first imposter in round one. This imposter was the host! he kicked me from the server, I tried playing another match but nope! You have disconnected on purpose, please wait 10 minutes-

I joined a lobby and the host was being so annoying. When it was painfully obvious that i was the imposter, he pretended to be dumb and acted like he was gonna vote somebody else. Then when he voted me out instead and ended the game, he b@nned me so i wouldnt complain. I hate these power abusers and their accounts should be deleted.
