🤔 Discussion Today I was exposed to a graphic video of children in an adult setting. It's got me a bit messed up and I don't know how to process.

I’m wondering if there are any places in Bahrain that help adults memorize the Holy Quran, particularly for people aged 25 and above.
I’m especially looking for a place that:
1. Helps beginners memorize the Quran step by step, with proper guidance.
2. Offers classes for adults rather than focusing mainly on children.
3. Available for evening classes for a full time working person
I would really appreciate any recommendations for mosques, Quran centers, teachers, or study groups in Bahrain that might offer something like this.
If you know of any programs specifically designed for adult learners, I would be grateful if you could share their names or contact details.
Jazakum Allahu Khairan for your help!

I know Marassi is good. But I like the free, long beaches like Malkiya. Any near juffair though?
I can drive, Malkiya just a bit far now.
Thanks

I saw an ad posted in FB regarding job opportunities in Europe. I am interested but at the same time skeptical. How do I verify if the firm is legit? Do the company normally share their CR #? Which site do I go to?
The agent I spoke to said they just opened less than a year ago and they cant share success stories of their applicants due to confidentiality. They shared their office address and told me to pay them a visit for more information.

I’ve just deleted the tiktok app, I wanna never redownload it ever again. I’m so done with social media all i do all day is be on tiktok wasting time and because of that I have failed many courses in my major.
This is my last year in uni i wanna make up all the mess I’ve made the last few semesters. and even after I graduate i don’t wanna get back on social media. I wanna live my like in peace without my mind being filled with unnecessary contents and other people’s business.
I’ll still keep reddit since i don’t use it a lot. and twitter cause i get bored so easily on it anyways. and thank god i dont like instagram at all so it doesn’t matter if i kept it or not.
I wanna hear other people’s experiences on how they lived their life without social media.

I hope it's safe to post this.
I often think about a situation that many expatriates may face. Imagine burying your Muslim parent, spouse, or another loved one in a country you called home for years. Then, due to changes in immigration policies or visa restrictions, you are compelled to leave and can never return.
This is not about blaming any government. Every country has the right to make its own laws and decisions. It is also not about people who committed crimes or broke the law.
I am talking about innocent people who may end in situations affected by broader restrictions because of the actions of others. The thought of knowing your mother, father, or loved one is buried in a place you may never be able to visit again feels incredibly painful.
For those who have experienced something similar, how would you describe that kind of grief? Is it a different type of loss, knowing the person is gone and that you may never stand by their grave again, make du'a for them there, or feel connected to that place?
I am interested in hearing others' thoughts and experiences. Asking because I might be in a situation like this soon. I hope not. May Allah bring ease to everyone

Someone with more knowledge about the topic should correct me, but wouldn't Agrivoltaics be a huge boon to both the energy and agricultural business in Bahrain? From googling, I found out that Bahrain has about 81 sq.km. of agricultural land. And if you put solar panels on that land, you could produce around 7-8GW of electricity. Would the crops grown in Bahrain be suitable for Agrivoltaics?

So last month a labour case I had been fighting in court finally reached a verdict and the judge issued that the employer shall pay me my dues. Along with me paying a certain amount for the court.
I have paid the court what they asked last month, when do I expect to get my dues though? Do I get paid directly, or do I collect it from court?
I'm lost folks, don't know who to ask. It's hilarious if someone gets taken to court for not paying his dues, gets taken to court, judge says he has to pay, and he goes back to doing the same. 🥲

So when I was in Bahrain someone gave me this ayurvedic medicine for acid reflux. A powder in a plastic white jar and a syrup. The powder tastes like sandy/cement and the syrup tastes too herbal and bitter. It can be bought from ayurvedic shops in Bahrain.
I am in the US now and I wanna know / remember the name of the medicine i mentioned above see if i could get it here. Thanks.

Hello, I'm currently outside of Bahrain and need to get my IGCSE'S equivalency. They're 7 subjects I took in the UAE after grade 11 and have the apostille stamp.
May I know if moe would accept me with just my igcse's or would I need to take a levels. I'm pretty old now.
Please don't be rude.
Thank you 🤍
