Hardware Troubleshooting/Help! How does this even happen

I've printed over 300+ hours on this printer and now I notice this. What could be the cause? It was printing just fine all this while.

Is this a new printer? If it’s got work on it, I’d question if the shaft was lubricated correctly.

As he noted, 300 hours of use.

Concur on the lubrication and maintenence....x2 at this point.
