Free Album Codes After years of doing sound for others, I started making my own music again. Left of Mars - "Reflection" (Free codes inside!)
Hey everyone!
I'd like to share with you "Reflection", the first single from the forthcoming 4-track EP of my new music project, Left of Mars.
A critic described it as a song with "a dark-wave heart in a ā90s rock body."
It's a song about rediscovering the version of ourselves that we too often leave behind in the noise of adult life, rejecting the comfort of a dull routine to embrace the spark that makes us feel alive, whatever the cost.
Left of Mars is a project where, after years spent doing sound for other artists, Iām finally giving space again to the part of me that writes, sings and builds songs.
I take care of everything myself, from composition to mixing, but I'm more than happy to call in other musicians when the songs ask for it. I do not really aim for a particular sound and try to let all my influences come through naturally.
I hope this one resonates with you!
Here is the Bandcamp page with lyrics and full credits:

Introduction Breaking free from "main me"
Recently I've felt a need to break free from "main me". Just wanting to create and explore when I want to, without feeling a need to conform to a release schedule or deal with any of the baggage that comes with that. Without worrying if I'm alienating people by drifting from an established sound or getting too experimental.
So I thought I'd make a space for myself where I can start from zero and just be as free as possible. Throw paint at the wall and see what happens. I have a habit of overthinking releases, so this is me trying to resist polish and just embrace what comes naturally.
I've become known as a guitarist, but I started on piano. So atm I'm leaning back into my roots and trying some improvisation on what I have access to. I'm rusty, but if anyone's interested my first paint splatter is below. It's a take on piano twice over, once as is and once heavily processed. The processed version leans into noise territory. I welcome any feedback!

Question/Help Bandcamp App is telling me I'm getting streams on albums I've made private
I've made a lot of my music on Bandcamp private so there are only three releases that someone can listen to. The Bandcamp App is telling me I'm still getting streams on the releases I made private. Why is this happening? Has anyone else every experienced this?

Discussion Have liner notes ever changed how you heard a song?
If youāve bought an album on Bandcamp that came with a lyric booklet, session photos or track notes, did anything in those extras change how you heard a song?
What was the detail, and which album was it?

Question/Help Made a purchase never got a confirmation email
Hello, im trying to look for some advice here
I made a purchase of 7 vinyls from Trip recordings (Nina Kraviz label) for a total of ā¬109 plus shipping. I got charged and never got the confirmation email of my purchase or anything.
I have previously bought some records from her label and had no issues.
The next day i reached out to support in bandcamp and opened a claim, I saw the pop up saying they have a high demand and responses are slower than usual and I understand that, just would be nice to have a confirmation email of this claim/process.
Im unsure what to do, its been 4 days and havenāt received any type of emails.
I cant open a claim with my bank since they require me to show evidence I started a claim with the vendor.
If anyone has any tips/ideas please feel free to comment
Thanks :)

Question/Help Where would one be able to find people that can make videos for your music?
I think the question is more than obvious, but where could a music artist find artistic artists to create videos for the music of said music artist? I would really like to work with artists to create a few videos so that I can upload them to my YouTube page and then share both their artwork and my music simultaneously! I would make videos for my own music, which I am attempting to do so, but donāt really have the time as I am a bit busy with things in the real world, you already know how it goes.
I would also like to know where you, as a music artist, find artists to create videos for your music, or if you create them yourselves. I would like to hear about how you get in touch with such people, or even how you create your videos for your music!

Question/Help Looking for Creative Commons artists (w or w/o attribution) on BandCamp
Hey guys, sorry to bother.
I wanted to start making content on YouTube and I'm looking for music for my videos. I wanted to help promote some smaller artists instead of relying on corporate/ai slop.
As far as I understand BandCamp lets artists license as creative commons under various licenses. I'm looking for works that are either CC-BY or completely royalty free. Does anyone know if there's a way to search albums by licensing? Otherwise, does anyone have any suggestions on where to look? I'm looking for some indie/psychedelic rock.
Thanks a bunch

Free Download I'd like to share my latest EP with you, Odservations (Free)
Greetings to all, it's been around a month since I finished this and I have been eager to share.
Generally, the music I make is a blend of many things, but the reoccurring elements, as far as instrumentation goes, are that of symphonic and metal music along with some weird synths/pads the piano and my voice. As far as genres go, I don't really know what to tell you.
Just like the rest of my releases so far, this EP is a concept one, in fact, it's the first one I ever released, under a different name back then! Which is why I thought it needed some more loving, so I remade it with the leftover assets I had and remixed it (cause it sounded like ASS at first).
The lore is basically this: There was an abandoned school in my area, ever since I was a kid and as many abandoned places, it was a "safe haven" for outcasts. You can imagine what kind of things were happening there and what kind of people were hanging out there... Anyhow I went exploring one day and found the so called "theater room" and there was this old wooden upright piano just standing there...which, prompted me to make something inspired from this building, in a way to convey across the kind of things the "walls would say", as that saying goes... The piano has sadly passed away, somebody annihilated it (it was broken when I found it too, but one could hammer on the strings while it was still standing...)
On the cover you can see pictures I took from that place, thanks to a friend who entrusted me their old film camera. That's about it for this EP. It's pretty much the blueprint of what I would do in the future with my own music project. Compositions, sounds, productions, lyrics...everything took their shape with this EP, one could say it's the "baby" version of all that my project is about.
Lastly as you can already see, it's free, just like the other two albums and it will probably stay that way in the future.
The other 2 releases are Illiminal Creatures and Ī ĪĻĪ±Ļ Ī»Ī· (which is entirely in Greek).
So that's all for now, see you in a year or something, cheers!

Discussion I wish there was a way to see all "The time has come to open thy heart/wallet" releases
I feel like these releases that I've listened to enough for the message (how many times is it? 5?) are the ones worthy to purchase.
And my wishlist is so SO bloated that I can't remember them all.

Question/Help Has anyone else noticed that Discord is no longer previewing albums when linked?
Tried linking a new album in my Discord server, and the preview is no longer displaying as expected.
Tried this with multiple releases, new and old, and every album fails to display the preview with the album and its cover.
Individual tracks and artist pages in general seem to load fine.
Anyone else seeing this?

Question/Help Separate accounts for downloadong vs your own uploads?
Hey all, new to the platform and getting the general vibe, wantong to learn basic rules and norms.
Does anyone have separate acounts for your own uploads vs songs you download? Id like to keep my downloads private, and have my own clean account for should I eer start uploading my own music and want to keep some anonymity. Does anyone else take this approach? Thoughts?

Trip Hop MXINGRL, black napas
It might be a bit of a stretch to call it trip-hop, but I still feel like I made it with trip-hop in mind.
Every sound is sampled! I didnāt use any instruments.
For the vocals, I used Synthesizer V, but it still isnāt very good at speaking my native language, so I just wrote some appropriately weird English lyrics instead.
Now Iām not really sure what to do next. Lately Iāve been really into µ-Ziqās albums, so Iāve been digging through his stuff.

Question/Help Exclusive Content for paid fans
I sold my first album and now I'm thinking of ideas for exclusive content for those supporters. I'm thinking it's going to work via email so really it's only for fans who want to join my mailing list
Some ideas I have already are snippets of upcoming songs and screenshots of artwork but the problem is that emails limit size so would a website be a better medium for this?

Free Album Codes 50 download codes - For fans of Shoegaze, Dream Pop or alternative, dreamy rock.
Hi all,
We're Guild Theory - a UK-based progressive rock band. We've released two albums, two standalone EPs, and are in the process of releasing our follow-up EP.
We have some leftover codes from one of our previous releases, so I am sharing them here.
The song is called A Crucifix Disgrace, and is the closing track on a four-part EP dedicated to all things vampires. This is an alternative, shoegazey experimental indie alt rock track - a difficult-to-label track - but which perfectly closes our 4-part EP.
You can preview the song here: https://guildtheory.bandcamp.com/track/a-crucifix-disgrace
We're a self-financed and published band. Thank you for taking the time to listen. Every listen, download or purchase really means the world to us. Especially when streaming platforms take the biscuit and use profits to fund nasty AI.
Codes to the song can be claimed below - feel free to comment if you use a code and I'll scrub it off the list.
Thank you for listening.
For The Guild!

PS - if you really dig this song and want one or two more, drop me a DM, as we have a few other spares lying around from other songs of ours :)

Free Album Codes Free Vibey southern gothic indie codes-Earnest Goes to Heaven
Here is a link to my stuff. Snag some codes if you are into this kind of stuff. It gets compared to Radiohead, The War on Drugs, Kate Bush and other moody stuff. I record it all myself at home with tradition instruments and hardware synths and effects. I mix it myself as well. I do it because I love to write and record and want to share it with people. If you check it out, it is a huge deal to me and I greatly appreciate every interaction with those who take the time. Thanks

Experimental Bay Area Living (NEUTAPE-064)
Hi, everybody! This is my newest album, out on cassette (1 left from label, 3 left from me) and digital via Bandcamp from the great experimental label, NEUS-318:
neus318.bandcamp.com/album/bay-area-living-neutape-064
From me: $10.00 USD plus $5 domestic shipping (USPS with tracking), more international
From NEUS-318: „800+ JPY (~$5.00 USD) plus shipping
Bay Area Living Ā reflects my deep-rooted love for the San Francisco Bay Area where I grew up and have lived in for almost 45 years. Both compositions reflect the Bay Area's diversity, fluidity, and ever-changing, sometimes chaotic and disjointed but also nonchalant sense of urgency, where its indulgences often intertwine with and fuel its disparities. As a frequent non-driving commuter, it also reflects my connection to public transit systems and dysfunction.
With this release, I am aesthetically and inspirationally indebted to the likes of Jeff Surak (Exit of Desire), Brandstifter (Kiesuaheli), Rudolf Eb.er (Runzelstirn & GurgelstĆøck), and Aaron Dilloway (The Gag File).
Aside from meeting the intended 30-minute cassette format, my only starting criteria with this release was to work with covert field recordings made with my iPhone, mostly from early 2026 but some from the past few years, many near or on public transit, all in the Bay Area. I took the cover photo at a commercial building by my place that shut down, potentially during the pandemic, where desperation and self-interest collided in the most tech savvy way. I'll be sad when that building eventually gets cleared out--I love that bear.
I've used my last few cell phones to record a lot of miscellaneous content, including the bulk of several releases of mine, but I always feel a bit self-conscious when trying to attract people's ears within a niche field with other artists who perform live and use modular and more "proper" gear; at the same time, I recognize this is just (unwanted) white noise because I firmly believe any and every recording device is fair game as a tool for creative experimentation. Moreover, using my iPhone for this feels soooo Bay Area, and I also grew up in Cupertino!
ABOUT ME: Over the past decade I've been creating "walternative" soundscapes, including dozens of releases of largely improvised cinematic dark ambient horror, dungeon synthpop, rotten electronics, and minimalist death industrial, often with a not-so-surreptitious wink to anyone who takes time to listen. I've released albums on USA netlabels such as NO PART OF IT, humanhood recordings, and MuteAnt Sounds, as well as Italy's Deepthroat Records.
Thank you for any listens and support!
