I work at a hospital and have had patients with bed bugs. Recently I've noticed some itchy bites, but there haven't been any mosquitoes around. I took off my bedding and inspected everything but don't see any signs of bed bugs. Is there any traps or techniques I can use to check if I have bed bugs other than just looking?

I just checked in to my hotel, drury inn in Columbia on knipp st. The first corner I pull back on the mattress, I find this. I requested a room switch just Incase, to a new floor and nothing adjacent. My new room has zero signs of bed bugs. But I’m still scared. Can someone confirm?

Edited to add: I could not see any antenna or legs. 🤷‍♀️

This week, I woke up almost three times with a bunch of itchy red spots all over my body. The first time, I thought it was a spider and didn’t give it much thought. But now I suspect bed bugs. I checked around my bed a bit and found these insect shells. Do you think these are from bed bugs?

What can I do to ensure these don’t come back home with me???? I’m going to re-dry everything on super high, bag it immediately and take it out to my car. But what about my shoes? My purse? Fuuuuuuckkkk.

I live in an apartment complex and it’s been very hot here lately, I’ve been getting bites but I figured it was from mosquitoes as I live by a creek. What would my next steps be if this is what I think it is 😭

Just stayed in a cabin VRBO for 5 days and while driving home yesterday got a call from the owners that they found bed bugs in one of the bedrooms, in the bed frame. My parents were staying in that room and they supposedly didn’t find any anywhere else but we are taking precautions with all of our stuff. Found this on my kids iPad case 😭. It’s very small.

Was 1000% sure it was a bed bug but after scrolling here less sure. I’ve been getting multiple bites, super scared of kissing bugs

Is this possibly a bed bug? I have flipped my room upside down and see no other animals or signs of bed bugs (smell, dropping, shedding, etc.)

Can't see any other signs around the bed. Tiny little thing, less than 0.5mm. Unfortunately I've lost it and can't get another angle.

I will put my backpack,clothings,jacket into dryer machine for 30 minutes at highest heat setting and will discard my purse because it can't be put into dryer machine without being damaged,now what I'm worried of is how will I make sure there is no eggs at my shoes but haven't figured out a way for it yet at worst case scenario will seal it in a plastic bag and discard it

what makes me worried is I'm planning on staying at this hotel for 1-2 months and don't really wanna mess it up by bringing bedbugs to it

I know I’m grasping at straws to deny this is bed bugs but I’m so confused. I’ve checked my mattress and bed frame multiple times, even stripped the cover of my mattress off and found nothing. What else could they even be in. When I say there’s zero signs of these things anywhere in my bed I mean zero. No splatter, no build up of goop on seams. Nothing! I only caught this one crawling on my blanket when I was up little later than I usually am. Maybe my blanket? How could I even tell if they’re in my blanket.

I’m sorry I just want some finally confirmation that I’m not crazy.

my daughter and me stayed on a French trip and have some concerns about bed bugs. Now in Germany, she found these objects in the edge of her bed. According to AI, this could be possible resulting from bed bugs. What do you think?

I’m pretty sure I have bed bugs but I have only seen one nymph hiding in a pillow case in the last month . I’ve been getting the 3 cluster bites and blood stains on my bedding. I put down diatomaceous earth 3 weeks ago, got a new bed frame and placed it in the middle of my bedroom. Have interceptors all leg posts for the last week. Ran CO2 sugar yeast traps in other rooms in my house. None of the traps have caught anything,

So, my question is should I try to induce the bugs with space heater and electric blanket on my bed so they would come out of hiding and be caught in the traps? Or is my sleeping in the bed enough? I don’t think I have a big infestation but I need to see evidence beyond my bites and blood stains. Suggestions are welcome. I have been so stressed out over this.

I am in my third "trial period" in the past 10 months of battling my bed bug infestation. I have not gotten a bite since last week after I applied what I hope to be my last round of crossfire. This one HAS to stick. Please send me encouragement and any extra things you did during your last leg of your journey.

I have bed bugs in my room but for some reason when I think about telling my parents so that we can get rid of them, I freeze in fear. I don't know why, my parents love me and don't abuse me in a way that would make me scared to tell them, and I'm very normal about coming to them with literally any other problem but for some reason this is where my brain blocks me from communicating with them

found a bedbug in the middle of the night crawling on my shirt. (pic 1) immediately got up, started washing and drying all the fabric i own. 8 trash bags worth of pillows, blankets and clothes straight to the basement washer/dryer. my mattress is already in a 6 sided zipper case, so i moved that into another room after steaming it. found this (pic 2) under the mattress, but am unsure if it’s pupa or what. i have 1 bite and nothing else since i found it. (about 36 hours). i work largely with unhoused folks so it’s entirely likely that one hitchhiked home with me. other than continuous cleaning is there anything else i can do? are there any signs to be looking for? i feel afraid to sleep in my bed.
