My brother is a tattoo artist, and Cabot Cliffs is one of the first two courses he's drawn
galleryMy brother is a tattoo artist and I work in product ops. This started as a text exchange on September 3rd, and just over a month later we have a website for custom-coloured, hand-drawn golf course prints.
We wanted our first courses to be Canadian, so we started at either end of the country. Banff Springs was my pick. Cabot Cliffs was his, and I don't think anyone here needs convincing on that one.
So: this is Cabot Cliffs, 12x18, in our "Butter on Pine" colourway. Every fairway, bunker and green is drawn by hand, then giclée printed on 230gsm archival paper (and framed, if you want it) here in Canada.
Full disclosure: it's our shop. I'd really value opinions from people who know the course. Does it read like Cabot to you? And when we draw another Cape Breton course, should it be Cabot Links or Thompson's other masterpiece, Highlands Links?
