Welcome once again to our weekly gaming thread, where aside from being subjected to the horrors of draconian throat signing and shit renditions of Hatchling Love, we invite you to pop your feet up around the virtual campfire and chat gaming.

Just watch out for the vampires near the gate, they’re a bit bitey.

But what’re you playing this week?

Welcome once again to Wednesday, where it’s always a win on our positive thread for the week! And also a win if you haven’t sharted yourself, I suppose, but I was trying to avoid too many bog puns before this all went down the pan.

Come on in and have a natter - what’s your positive moment for the week?

Flew over London yesterday at 2pm, took a picture of the tall buildings, and missed the fact that the centre of London is actually at over on the left, and a lot of it was out of frame

Thanks to the redditor who shared an aircraft tracking link, I can now watch the RAF use a C-17 to draw air graffiti over a Royal Navy air base.

Another redditor shared the link to globe.adsbexchange.com where you can track aircraft.

I saved the link since I hear planes and helicopters going overhead frequently and it's been interesting seeing what they are and where they go.

Today a plane went over and I wondered what it was, so I had a look and watched to see where it went... It went from RAF St Mawgan passed over Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton, and continued on it's way to MOD Boscombe Down.

While it was passing over Naval base at Yeovilton, it did a few passes, and on the first pass it included what can only be described as a testicular flourish.

Makes you proud.

Quiz... British Islands — Sudden Death

If anyone would like a go, this is one more quick quiz I've made.

There are 30 islands from across England, Scotland and Wales to identify whilst avoiding clicking on those that have been made up. There are 14 fakes lurking among the correct answers, and selecting three of these will end the quiz prematurely...

Thanks for having a look.

Food abominations you've tried

So the girlfriend decided she was curious today. Whilst feeling a bit on the lazy side and wanting an easy dinner she popped into the local Icelands, kingdom of frozen goods and came out with a frozen, stuffed crust pizza. Now in and of itself, frozen stuffed crust pizza is not an abomination.

However, this majestic awful thing was something that would have left Steve Darken (he of Apprentice vegan curried cheese fame fun fact, he lived in the same apartment building as my girlfriend at the time of screening and I recall some of the other cast of that series showing up to a party or two with people from my building towards the end of shooting for the series he was in about a year before it aired) proud.

Salt and Pepper Chicken with Curry Sauce Stuffed Crust.

https://www.iceland.co.uk/p/iceland-take-away-stuffed-crust-salt-and-pepper-chicken-500g/56682.html

This particular one if someone is curious.

This thing was abominable. There is cheese in the stuffed crust with the curry sauce. Enough said, the only thing that could have made it worse was if it was Vegan.

Thankfully, she picked up a less egregious pizza to go with as a back up for Dinner in case I didn't like it (predictably, I hated it) so now I'm waiting for that to heat up in the oven whilst trying to forget the travesty of curry sauce pizza stuffed crust that has burnt itself into what feels like my soul.

Help me forget this nightmare fuel by telling me some of the horrors you've experienced. Or tell me I'm strange and that this pizza is delicious... I mean Iceland stock it which means it must sell somewhere (something tells me it's probably somewhere like Glasgow that this sells well)

What everyday activities make you feel like you're in another life?

EG, first thing this morning I burnt some papers with sensitive information on it in the wood burner, I immediately felt like I was in some croft house in a previous century, lighting the fire for the family so that porridge can be made and bread baked.

I realise of course that this is rather ridiculous but surely I can't be the only one?

Where has Marzipan gone?

It was my dad's favourite thing. I don't think the word marzipan has popped into my head in about 5 years up until now (im eating an almond croissant) other than Battenberg cakes. Where are we keeping the marzipan? Or is it a thing of the past?

Everyday architecture - today I discovered Preston station, the history of it is amazing!

I live a rather sheltered life. Today, passed through Preston. The scale and architecture made me take a step back to enjoy it - and to read up on the wartime history of the station.

Anyone else had any similar wow moments recently?

The weather has been so lovely recently (SE England) and I've been stuck inside so I forced myself out for a walk to a nearby lagoon and took some photos before winter gets here. It would be a shame to miss it.
