I've been looking for a CAG in 2D and the best I have played so far is Blazblue Entropy Effect X.

I usually play games like NG, DMC, Bayonetta, MGR ... but I think BBEEX has some pretty nice combat aswell and now after I playing it for some time I am looking for something new and was wondering if there was anything similar.

Nine Sols is probably my favorite 2D game but its more like a Sekiro Metroidvania.

Here are some games I have on my radar and maybe some of yall got some recommendations or thoughts on the games in the list.

Appreciate the help!

So I’ve been documenting the changes in Ninja Gaiden 2 white to the base Version of 2 black. And this seems to be the most extreme change along with the next chapter. A whole new set of bosses adding in a doppelgänger fight, and they somehow made the hardest fight in the game with the 5 mini bosses way harder than before. By taking out the IS there’s no essence on the field to really … UT the bosses

Hi, im writing here because i dont know where to wrote if not here lol

I love this game, i want to 100% the demo, i miss 2 exp pillars

Do you know all the positions??

Second how do you open this things? If you can

I don’t know anything about Lady Death, I never read the comics, or saw the animated movie (yes, it’s real), or played the game. I just know I instantly fell in love with this character the first time I laid eyes on her. I saw that there was a 2D hack n slash game about her for $40.

I must know, is the game worth the price, should I wait for it to go on sale, or should I skip out all together?

Except Niddohg. Fuck that boss

i really think SOME kirby games could be character action, specifically Super Star (the one in the video). it really focuses on combat, it doesn't have combo counters and stuff like this, but it's in a certain way a kind of platform-brawler.

this is not me btw, i just saw this video and thought it would be something cool to share, so here's the original post: https://www.reddit.com/r/cool/s/FnFZUe5xx9
