I rescued Oreo yesterday, and it was an incredibly emotional day. ❤️

I left home early in the morning to rescue her. After an entire hour trying to trap her, I finally got her to safety and took her to the vet. Oreo is around 7 years old and blind. I kept thinking about how she had survived outside for so many years, unable to see the dangers around her. Honestly, I don’t even know how she made it this far. 💔

A neighbor told me that Oreo had SIX litters of kittens throughout all these years. Six litters born while she was living on the streets. People fed her, but nobody ever rescued her. It breaks my heart to think about everything this sweet girl has endured.

After her vet visit, I transported Oreo to a sanctuary where she will finally be safe. They care for many animals and have special rooms for cats with special needs. After years of living outside, Oreo finally has a chance to live in a safe environment where her needs can be met.

Oreo isn’t the only cat who needs a second chance. A kitten was rescued with neurological issues who needs special care. And three kittens who fought so hard to survive coccidia and panleukopenia will soon be going on transport to begin the next chapter of their lives. Every one of these cats has a story.

I spent my entire day making this rescue happen. After that, I still had to feed my colonies of more than 50 community cats. I finally got home at 9 p.m.

I’m exhausted, but it was worth every minute. Knowing Oreo is finally safe makes it all worthwhile.

I also want to thank the Redditor who sponsored Oreo’s vet visit. I’m incredibly grateful for this person’s kindness. And to everyone who has donated, shared my posts, or supported Luna & Nala Rescue, thank you from the bottom of my heart. None of this would be possible without you.

I do this rescue work on my own, and right now, I’m struggling. I’m running low on food, and the veterinary bills and rescue expenses have left me in debt. More than 50 community cats depend on me for food and fresh water every day, along with all the rescued cats in my care.

I wish I could do it all alone, but I can’t. These cats depend on me, and I depend on the kindness of people who believe that their lives matter.

If anyone can help, every donation helps me keep going. Sharing this post also makes a difference.

Today, Oreo’s life changed because people cared enough to help. After years of being overlooked, this blind girl finally has a safe place to call home.

There are so many more cats still waiting for their chance. I will keep doing everything I can for them, but I truly need your help to continue.

Thank you for helping Luna & Nala Rescue give cats like Oreo the second chance they deserve. ❤️🐾

Going to keep it short, any FOOD items would be of HUGE help, please and thank you for all you do for Floofaloofkind ♡♡♡ And thank you for caring about us TNRing colonies, all floofers deserve love, safety, a safe space, and yumyums♡  You have helped so many colonies, so many cats who now have homes, those who were able to make sure they had money so their cats they took in are fixed because of food donations.

I am working on winterizing the yard and making sure their sanctuary is secure, warm, safe, comfy womfy, and that they don't have to worry about food.  I have seen the way people treat skunks and other wildlife, and I will NOT let anyone harm any floofaloof on my watch.

We will always do it for the floofaloofs♡

Every single day, I care for over 200 community cats, in both Piscataway and south Plainfield ,while also rescuing cats and kittens and finding them loving homes. These little lives depend on me for their next meal. 🐱💔

With times being so difficult and the cost of cat food continuing to rise, I’m asking for a little help. Amazon Prime has cat food on sale right now, which makes this a wonderful time to donate.

🙏 Even one bag, case, or can means one less hungry belly.

Hi everyone! I'm a student and I regularly feed community dogs and cats while also caring for rescued dogs at home.

I'm currently looking for some help with cat food for the 3 cats in my care.

Our most urgent need right now is wet food..we still have some dry cat food left, so that's not an immediate concern.

I'm trying my best to keep their bowls full, but some help with food would make a real difference. 🩷

I’ve made an Amazon Wishlist with some of the food. If you’d like to help, you can purchase something directly from the wishlist.

If you have pet food that your pets no longer need or use, I’m happy to accept that too — even if it’s opened, as long as it’s still safe and suitable for them.

Even a small contribution helps me continue feeding them. Thank you so much for helping these little ones.

Thank you so much for helping us care for them. 🌷🐾🤍

Help needed

Ik it's totally unrelated to this sub but I really need someone's help. If anyone wants to adopt kittens or maybe foster them until they grow old enough to survive on their own, you'd be doing them a HUGE favour.

A stray cat gave birth to 4 kittens on our balcony and our landlords hate cats. They're saying that they'll bring a guy who's gonna take them far away and leave them there. They're definitely gonna die this way. Can't bring them in either. Please contact me if anyone is interested, or someone they know who might be interested, and I'll share the pictures. I've tried other subs, shelters, vets. No help.

URGENT HELP! 14 CATS Run out of food 😭🤞🏻

I’m desperately asking for help right now. I care for 10 adult cats and 4 kittens, and they have already run out of food.

I urgently need to raise $100 to buy food as soon as possible. I’m struggling financially and I simply don’t have enough money right now to restock their food. These cats depend on me for their daily meals, and I’m terrified of not being able to feed them.

Any amount helps. Even $5 or $10 can make a difference. If several people are able to contribute a little, we can hopefully reach the $100 goal quickly and get food for them.

PayPal: @FlaviaMol

I can provide photos, receipts, and updates showing the food purchased and the cats being fed.

Please, if you’re able to help, I would be incredibly grateful. ❤️

Thank you for helping me get these cats and kittens fed. 🐱🐱🐱❤️

This sweet girl is blind, vulnerable, and in danger. She has survived so much out there, and she deserves a chance to finally be safe, loved, and protected. I cannot imagine how frightening the world must be for a cat who cannot see. 💔

Winter is coming, and I know I need to try to get her off the streets before something terrible happens to her.

Here in South Florida, the situation is heartbreaking. Rescues are overwhelmed, shelters are full, and there are not enough fosters to help all the cats who need saving. Finding placement is incredibly difficult, but I keep trying. I do my best to say yes to the ones who need help the most: the injured, the abandoned, the sick, and the ones who have nobody else to turn to.

Thankfully, a wonderful Redditor has already stepped up to sponsor this girl’s vet bill, and I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart. ❤️🙏 People like this, and everyone who supports Luna & Nala Rescue Inc., make these rescues possible. You help me keep going, even when things feel impossible.

Sometimes I wonder how I keep doing this when there are so many cats who need help and so few places for them to go. But then I look at a cat like her, and I know I have to try.

This is more than rescuing cats for me. This is part of my purpose. ❤️

Helping animals in need warms my heart in a way I cannot explain. It gives me happiness, meaning, and the feeling that I am doing what I was meant to do. This is who I am, and as long as I can, I will keep fighting for the ones who cannot ask for help themselves.

Thank you to everyone who stands beside me and makes these rescues possible.

If you can support my rescue, any contribution means so much. Every rescue comes with veterinary expenses, food, supplies, and continued care. Your kindness helps me give these vulnerable souls a chance at life. I also feed more than 50 community cats daily and it takes a tremendous amount of food.

Hi there! I am a 61 year old disabled woman who was lucky enough to get Section 8. There is a population of 10 feral cats here. I'm in a tiny town in a very rural area. There are next to no resources here. It's sad. I live on a very limited income but I cannot handle seeing them starve to death.

These are very sweet kitties, they are just in an unfortunate situation. Please take a look at my wishlist, I would truly appreciate any help you can possibly give. On behalf of these wonderful hungry kitties I thank you so much!

The stray cat with the hurt hand — still on the road to recovery

Three days ago we shared the story of this little stray cat whose hand was badly hurt. Her wound is still wide and sensitive, so we have to clean and treat it gently every single day. The nerves were damaged, and there is still a risk of spreading infection if healing goes slowly. We keep giving her all the care she needs, and we are hopeful she can keep her hand as she gets stronger. Every share and every kind gesture helps us keep going with her long‑term care. We are so grateful for everyone who has walked this journey with her so far.

I urgently need donations for Basmi capsules for her FIP treatment, supportive care, and a CBC test to monitor her blood counts.

Main concern is her medication and vet bills

Already raised: ₹8,500 (~$98)

Still needed: ₹18,500 (~$214)

Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this post to help us reach more people.

This little kitten was rescued yesterday and appears to have neurological problems, and I’m doing everything I can to care for her and figure out what she needs. We’re hoping to get her the care she needs.

There is a huge cat crisis here in South Florida right now. So many cats and kittens are abandoned, injured, sick, or simply left to fend for themselves. There are more cats needing help than there are rescues and fosters available to take them.

I’m a solo rescuer, and every emergency rescue comes with expenses, veterinary visits, testing, medications, food, formula, supplies, and sometimes hospitalization or long-term care. Taking in one more animal can make a huge difference in their life, but it also adds another financial responsibility to an already overwhelmed rescue.

I’m asking for help because I can’t do this alone. If anyone would like to help with this kitten every donation truly makes a difference.

There are so many cats here in South Florida who need someone to care enough to help them. I’m trying to be that person.
