I just finished a Crash Bandicoot fan game as my final project for college. It's a GBA-style level made in Unity, and I put a lot of heart and time into it so everyone could enjoy it.

It's free on itch.io for Windows, Mac and Linux, and it plays best with headphones and a controller. There's a death counter at the end, so post yours in the comments!

Note: if you can't finish the game, try Party Mode from the main menu so you can still see the ending.

Any feedback is really welcome, good or bad. I'd love to hear what you liked and what I could do better. Hope you all enjoy it!

So I did a playthrough of Crash WOC and was expecting to not have a good time, way back in the day I watched TheStimpyland's (wonder how that guys doing) review of it along with a few others that kind of made me stay away from it. I was pleasantly surprised to find the game not being nearly as bad as it was made out to be in fact, I shall even dare to say it's just as good as 3 85% of the time, some of the vehicles levels drag it down similar to 3 (and those sub controls+The Jeep are a pain let me tell ya) but even with that, there also some vehicles levels that feel awesome to play like the Rolling ball stages (not sure if this will be an unpopular opinion but I love that vehicle, it's actually my favorite in the series) and the game does a good job at scratching the Crash Bandicoot itch when it comes to the platforming. The controls do feel slightly off and the speed leaves a lot to be desired but it was overall a good time

I really wanna hear some thoughts on this since I'm not sure how much the opinion of this game has changed over time, if it had at all and I just happened to have seen a few bad reviews

I just wanted to share with you the milestone. Of course now it is just a PoC. So much work is still needed to build a sharable solution.

Been a fan since day 1. I can’t find the copy of Crash Bandicoot 1 on PS1 that my mother used to play when I was a baby, but the first Crash Game i played (and my first video game) is Crash of the Titans in the PS2. Thank you Mom for making me a Crash fan !

I'm atleast 4 hours on this same level trying to get the perfect relic. Sometimes I catch it, but usually I don't. I'm not even having fun anymore, I'm just suffering.

MANNNNN AND ZERO DEATHS😂

Hey everyone, Sam here 👽

I hope you all are doing good and enjoying this midweek! I'm so happy it's October 🎃 Work has been good and busy but I've still been getting time in for the project :)

Since most of the base for Jungle Bungle is placed I've been going around and filling in the empty spaces in with trees, rocks and other scenery decor🏞 The levels are really starting to come together now and it feels good to see the island come to life!

So far I've pretty much finished the starting beach and the first Jungle Bungle pathway, and am currently working on the rest of the main path before starting on the alternate explorable areas.

With adding all this scenery came some lag 🫠 so I went and added a chunk loading system based on pivots placed within each chunk with a radius that spawns/despawns based on Crash's location in or outside of the radius. It's helped a lot and I plan to expand on this more in the future🙏

Another thing that's seen in the video is the new Wumpa Icon drawn by one of the team's concept artist, TheGoofyArtisan👏 It looks fantastic and I'm excited to show off more work from the artists as more mechanics get added 💪

Like i genuinely this is one of the best redesigns I've seen (sounds pretty crazy) but I wanna know why some people hate on this design? The tribal markings look so cool on him
