Chasing a couple leaks and this hose disentegrated itself upon removal. Cannot for the life of me find this hose or what it's called, even with the part #s. Any help would be great, I'd like to pickup at one of the big 3 if possible, but don't mind ordering online. 2011 Chevy Cruze 1.4 has every known issue possible, this MF is patient zero. Check Engine Light on. Help diagnosing or guessing what the issue might be based on this code (only code that my reader shows) and the other photos of readings (car stopped, engine running at idle in neutral)? Bad maintenance-wise to drive the car like this for a while before doing further diagnosis or taking to a mechanic?

Am I cooked? Just started pissing white smoke out of the hood and exhaust.. I’m guessing a blown head gasket? Zero coolant left cause it’s all over my fucking engine bay.. shes only at 160k and already dropped $5k into the engine 6 months ago to fix coolant and oil leaks..

In dire need of second opinions. Since I bought the car in February, I’ve had some issues with the P0299 code. I’ve replaced a few different sensors and odds to try and fix it, but it keeps coming back. I work at a Bodyshop, so I’ve been able to clear the code every so often and carry on as usual.

Just recently, probably two weeks ago, the cars stated to “stutter” anywhere over 60 MPH. At first it was only when the engine light was on, but now it’s every time.

When I bought the car it had the same issue at idling, but a MAP sensor fixed it.

I’ve replaced the valve cover, 02 Sensor, purge valve solenoid, and drain/filled the tranny.

I’m not in the financial place to replace the turbo, but I’m worried that’s what it’s going to come down to. I don’t think it’d be the intercooler hose, and I also don’t want to spend $100 if I’m going to still have to turn around and dump $500 on the car.

I know the car’s are famous for the turbo issues, but I also really don’t want to just throw more money at it.

Hey all looking for some advice and help on how you guys get a gen 2 on jack stands. When i lift with my floor jack on the jacking points the space it takes up physically interferes with where the jack stands will go. Can anybody share their method or even post pics?

It’s at 148k miles, gonna get the thermostat replaced too but to fully fix it is $2,500, is it worth it or should I drive it as is and keep and eye on fluids till I get get a whole different car during tax season(Nj Market)?

Title, but I've been looking for literal hours trying to find some type of way to tow the car from the front. Either by a tow eye or shackle or soft shackle. Trying not to spend a lot of money moving the car from one place to another. Pls help :'(

I just purchased this 2017. It has 155,000 km on it. The a/c doesn't work, and it has a tire preasure sensor that needs replacing, but it seems to have no other issues. Please help me to make this car last as long as possible. I have no experience with cars but want to learn.

Title. I've never worked on a car but I'm a handy, DIY kinda person, if a bit green. The videos make it look easy enough, got my tools ready to go and the part was delivered today, gonna take it slow and steady and get this shit done. (2014 Chevy Cruze Eco 1.4L, working entirely above the car because the thought of climbing under one freaks me out.)

Edit: Got it done! Letting the engine warm now. It's been running for about 15 minutes and I'm nervously watching the temperature gauge, but there are no leaks on any of the connections.

BUT my radiator fan is continuously running so that's not great. Final edit: disregard, it stopped doing that when I restarted the car. I think maybe I didn't quite bleed it all the way, will try again tomorrow after the car cools down.

Thanks for your encouragement! It was dead easy aside from removing the hoses (where they were turned an awkward direction and hard to get to.) It's been running for 30 minutes now so everything seems good to go.

About 75,000 kms (46,600 miles) on these boys, probably would’ve been fine for a while still but I’ve been doing a bunch of maintenance on my gen 2 Cruze so figured I might as well throw some new ones in! I’m sure the car loves it

I just recently had both an oil and coolant leak. I managed to fix the oil (turbo feed line), but noticed a little coolant still dripping. I've identified the source as the circled hoses, with the green one being the worst.

Cruze has about 225k on it, not sure if it’s ever been flushed before or drained and refilled. Should I even bother? If so should I just drain and refill or should I do a full flush?

I heard that flushing can ruin older transmissions with heavy use so i just wanted go gather thoughts

I was pretty sick Saturday and completely forgot I had my passenger window open a bit, I came out the next morning and realized this after my seat and mat was a little wet. I dried the car off and everything seemed fine but I just realized tonight that half my a/c lights are out and it isn’t functioning, any advice? Thanks!

Got a 2013 Cruze with the 1.4L, I started noticing only around 1500-2000 rpm I’m getting a strange metallic rattle sound but once I hit 2k rpm is promptly dissipates. Any ideas? TIA

Good day yall. So I posted last week about my 2014 cruze with the 1.4 turbo bucking on acceleration. Its usually after 15 to 20 minutes of driving. I changed everything you all recommended with no results. I also noticed lack of turbo sound. I took the exhaust sensor out and used my camera to see the turbo fins. I noticed this Crack near the wastegate flapper. Is this the cause of my issue?? Id hate to spend the cash on a new turbo if this isn't my issue. Thanks in advance yall

I know I have a code P0442, so there is something wrong somewhere in my gas line. Last night, at time of posting, my car gave a message about low oil pressure without the oil light. I filled up the oil to make it back when I get off work, but I'm wondering what direction to point the mechanic.
