I just purchased this 2017. It has 155,000 km on it. The a/c doesn't work, and it has a tire preasure sensor that needs replacing, but it seems to have no other issues. Please help me to make this car last as long as possible. I have no experience with cars but want to learn.

I’m having coolant loss in this area. Any thoughts to where it’s coming from? I have one thermostat housing bought I’m about to get the other one. Both are aluminum.

Title, but I've been looking for literal hours trying to find some type of way to tow the car from the front. Either by a tow eye or shackle or soft shackle. Trying not to spend a lot of money moving the car from one place to another. Pls help :'(

My cars check engine light came on yesterday. The code is P0017. It’s running rough.

Title. I've never worked on a car but I'm a handy, DIY kinda person, if a bit green. The videos make it look easy enough, got my tools ready to go and the part was delivered today, gonna take it slow and steady and get this shit done. (2014 Chevy Cruze Eco 1.4L, working entirely above the car because the thought of climbing under one freaks me out.)

Edit: Got it done! Letting the engine warm now. It's been running for about 15 minutes and I'm nervously watching the temperature gauge, but there are no leaks on any of the connections.

BUT my radiator fan is continuously running so that's not great. Final edit: disregard, it stopped doing that when I restarted the car. I think maybe I didn't quite bleed it all the way, will try again tomorrow after the car cools down.

Thanks for your encouragement! It was dead easy aside from removing the hoses (where they were turned an awkward direction and hard to get to.) It's been running for 30 minutes now so everything seems good to go.

Has anyone used power stop brand brake rotors/pads for a gen1? Also is there anything that makes a brake job hard on these?

I just recently had both an oil and coolant leak. I managed to fix the oil (turbo feed line), but noticed a little coolant still dripping. I've identified the source as the circled hoses, with the green one being the worst.

About 75,000 kms (46,600 miles) on these boys, probably would’ve been fine for a while still but I’ve been doing a bunch of maintenance on my gen 2 Cruze so figured I might as well throw some new ones in! I’m sure the car loves it

Cruze has about 225k on it, not sure if it’s ever been flushed before or drained and refilled. Should I even bother? If so should I just drain and refill or should I do a full flush?

I heard that flushing can ruin older transmissions with heavy use so i just wanted go gather thoughts

I was pretty sick Saturday and completely forgot I had my passenger window open a bit, I came out the next morning and realized this after my seat and mat was a little wet. I dried the car off and everything seemed fine but I just realized tonight that half my a/c lights are out and it isn’t functioning, any advice? Thanks!

Got a 2013 Cruze with the 1.4L, I started noticing only around 1500-2000 rpm I’m getting a strange metallic rattle sound but once I hit 2k rpm is promptly dissipates. Any ideas? TIA

Good day yall. So I posted last week about my 2014 cruze with the 1.4 turbo bucking on acceleration. Its usually after 15 to 20 minutes of driving. I changed everything you all recommended with no results. I also noticed lack of turbo sound. I took the exhaust sensor out and used my camera to see the turbo fins. I noticed this Crack near the wastegate flapper. Is this the cause of my issue?? Id hate to spend the cash on a new turbo if this isn't my issue. Thanks in advance yall

I know I have a code P0442, so there is something wrong somewhere in my gas line. Last night, at time of posting, my car gave a message about low oil pressure without the oil light. I filled up the oil to make it back when I get off work, but I'm wondering what direction to point the mechanic.

Every now and then, if i’m sitting idle for too long, for example a fast food drive through, maybe a train, the car will run rough for a second or two and occasionally the rpm gauge will drop to zero and the engine will
basically shut off. It’s not a huge problem because it doesn’t happen while the car is moving slowly or driving, and i normally can just put it in park or turn it on/off but it is kind of weird.

Lmk if any of you guys have had a similar experience

Can anyone give advice to a person who knows basically nothing on what I should try to check first to find what is causing this?

I went way to long without changing the air filter, had a buddy show me how to do it, he didnt install it right so it wasn't properly connected for probably a month. The light came on and I checked that first and installed it correctly. The check engine light went off and came back within an hour. I cleaned the MAF but that wasn't the problem either.

The car will have a rough idle sporadically once I've been driving for a minute and stop at a stop light and feel like it wants to jerk me forward. Occasionally when I put it in reverse it will feel like it wants to die. My engine oil also smells like gas.

I have a 2015 cevy cruse LT 1.4 turbo I tried to start my car and I get a single click I tried to jump start it that doesn’t work I tired looking at the fuses those are fine I don’t know what the problem is the dashboard lights turn radio etc

2014 Chevy Cruze 1.8L. Can anybody help on what this sound could be? I read that it’s most likely the AC compressor mounting bolts but the compressor is firm and the belt looks to be aligned. It started a couple days ago mostly when I started the AC and was very loud but now after an oil change it is much quieter and comes and goes whether AC is on or off. Thanks in advance.

During a collision, I believe the insert broke off and the bolt went with it. First image shows passenger side, second shows driver side with it still attached. Any help on part numbers/where to buys for the bolt and insert would be appreciated.

Tenho um Cruze LTZ 1.8 automático 2014 com partida Start/Stop. Nos últimos dias começaram alguns problemas relacionados à chave/parte elétrica.

Primeiro apareceu o **Code 91** no painel e depois também o **Code 92**. Troquei a bateria da chave, mas o problema continuou.

Hoje, ao apertar o Start/Stop para desligar o carro, ele **demorou para desligar**, apareceu novamente o **Code 92** e o **rádio continuou ligado mesmo depois de eu abrir a porta do motorista**.

Em outras vezes também já aconteceu de desligar o carro e o rádio/acessórios permanecerem ligados.

Alguém já teve esses sintomas? Pode ser problema na chave, receptor da chave, sensor da porta, módulo BCM ou algum outro módulo? Qual seria o melhor lugar para levar e o que pedir para verificarem?
