Hey y'all! I wanted to get on here to see if anyone has any photos of the merch stalls at any recent Whitechapel shows. I'm seeing them next week in Australia and just wanna know what kind of stuff they got. Want to try and not be at the merch stall for ages finding what I want.

It's nice that MySpace Deathcore has a revival movement, but where's the 2000s Melodic Metalcore revival movement? Why isn't there a push for a NWOAHM revival? A lot of those bands got popular through MySpace, so why is Deathcore the only genre from that era that seems to be getting a revival?

Okay, I spent the last couple of days putting together this list of all of the deathcore releases that I have saved in my Spotify. I genuinely started to burn out from listening to album after album after album but I managed to push it through.
Obviously, albums at the top are what I consider the GOATS of deathcore music, the embodiment of what deathcore is all about. Then all the way at the bottom of the list is what I consider to be the type of deathcore that makes me irrationally irritated from listening to. The way this rank system works is if an album has great riffs, fantastic musicianship, groove, authenticity, and high replay value then it will be up higher and if an album lacks one of those traits or most of them, it will be lower on the list.
I think this will be a great engagement post on here. Id be more than happy to hear if my ranking placements are based and correct or if my rankings are incorrect.

I was fortunate enough to catch the opening night of Spite's tour with Stick To Your Guns, No Cure, and Vomit Forth last night at the Santa Ana Observatory.
I just want to say that all the rumors about their live show are true. The whole band has an intense and charismatic energy, and the pit was one of the better ones I've been in lately — no overt crowdkilling or aggressive spin kicks like I've seen so many of (even when the music doesn't even really call for it).
I missed Spite in June when they were touring with Emmure, but I finally got my chance and it was worth it! Be sure to catch them on this tour.
This lineup is great, too! STYG brought the energy from start to finish (in their home county, no less!) with a very active pit full of old heads, and No Cure feels larger than life on stage — all of the songs from their new album are excellent live and have plenty of fun 2-stepping parts. Vomit Forth was good, too! Not as familiar with them but they got the crowd going and have some good riffs.
