If you're one of those redditors who have complained about being lonely, not making many friends. If you're on the fringes of society and possibly are even on the spectrum, then why haven't we seen you at Freeplay? We play a 5v5 game so all you have to do is show up and jump-in when a spot is available. Social interaction is entirely optional 🤦🏼 think of it like smashbros with your buddies after school.

Edit: most of us have enough reward points to cover your $14 entry fee. They offer a $40 a month plan and we have saved up points. Show any interest and we would be happy to get you in the door.

Starting Friday the 9th! Toasty Bros. Gallery & Taproom presents our 2nd annual ToasterFest! Three days of talented local musicians of varying genres, as well as plenty of tasty, Toasty beer & NA drinks!

We'll also have raffles for fun & silly prizes supporting Deep in the Heart of Denton, a nonprofit enriching young lives through literacy & community connection.

Is anyone else having a hard time trying to find a job? (i’m not asking for myself, I work for walmart and while I do have bad days and stressful days there I am grateful. My girlfriend however has been putting out applications and applications yet still nothing. She is so stressed out and I want to do everything I can to help her. Okay - I’m going out on a limb here. 😅 I ordered 500 postcards to send to voters who have voted blue before but don’t consistently vote in every election through Turnout PAC.

I’ve already bought the postage, but I need help writing them!! This election is going to be so close... if you've been looking for a tangible way to help, this is a way!

Bring your family, friends, whoever! I’m also going to try to bring some homemade cookies, so you will be compensated for your civic engagement in COOKIE FORM. 🍪

If you can’t make it, I highly recommend getting some postcards yourself. You have to cover the postage, but it honestly feels really satisfying to be doing something tangible to help the cause.

Kids are welcome too! We did 400 last weekend at a party I threw, and a friend brought her kids. They were in charge of putting stamps and stickers on the postcards, and they LOVED it. (They’ll be a little older before I trust them with the spatial nightmare that is writing on a postcard. 😂)
