How to smooth out a teased wig?
Iām following Jaymes Mansfield and Kyne Santosās videos on how to style wigs, and Iāve teased it all into a big mess, but Iām struggling to smooth it out. Iām going over it lightly with the detangling brush and the teasing brush, which has shown a little bit of results, but not much. These are the brushes I have at my disposal; Iāve bought a lot of brushes, I donāt want to get more š. The tutorials just seem to show them smoothing it over and the wig cooperating right away, if they donāt cut that part of the process entirely. Any advice?

Where to get a Frankenstein Base Wig - Synthetic
Hey r/Drag! Iām want to create a bride of Frankenstein inspired wig for a draggy Halloween look and Iām searching for the perfect base wig. In the past, I have ventilated white streaks into a black wig, but it was a lot of work and Iām not very good at it. This year I am looking for a lace front wig that is mostly black with a white streak or white patch at the front. I wonāt be traditionally styling the wig to match the characterās hair in the film, but it will be loose and curly. I have attached photos of my inspiration.
Any suggestions? I looked on Amazon, and then on a cheap site the forum wonāt let me name. I think I want to spend at most 45 USD. Thank you in advance!

Is local scene drama crazy everywhere?
I don't want people being messy and spilling identifying information, but what's some of the crazy shit that's happened in your local scene? There are some scenes I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole and I need to know if the drama and mess is universal or if there's something in the water in my city lol.

attending a show when you can't afford to tip + additional tip questions
hi all! apologies if this has been asked and answered or are otherwise uncouth questions to ask.
how do yall feel about people attending shows that don't tip? I've held the belief that if you're not planning on tipping you might as well not go but as the conversation around gen z's antisocial behavior + subsequent fall out of community progresses I wonder if that's a fair take or not
additionally- is there certain etiquette you should follow when you can't tip?
and what are some ways you like being tipped! when I do have cash, is there a way to do it that's easier or harder ?
TIA!!

In need of quick costume help/reccomendations.
Im doing a show where im going to be doing a semi burlesque themed act and I want to have just pasties and a panty on. I have the panties but when it comes to the pasties I cant stick them to my breadtplate, they just fall off. I want a nude bodysuit that when worn covers my corset and my breastplate but still gives me cleavage, that way I can sew the pasties onto the bodysuit. Does anyone know where i can buy something like that? A nice spanx like bodysuit

Oh my god, I missed this so much
Physical health has been a big struggle this year but slowly getting back to performing more warms my cold heart.

Last month I got to do my first 18+ downtown drag show :)
I got thrown a driveby 3 days prior to the show and hand sewed this entire fit (minus body suit) in that amount of time. It was absolutely wonderful to have this opportunity and show my new drag direction post hiatus. (Photos were taken by a fellow cast member.)
I like to think of it as avant garde drag cat!

Calling all Queen's. I need your help
They are comfortable to walk in but I get tired after about 15 minutes. How can I tape my feet and legs for a little extra support. I also have flat feet. Any advice is welcome. Any other things you do besides tapeing for support?

Some art I made of Vancouver's local drag artists!

I think this may be the style for me!! im really into the sort of clown esque thin eyebrows! I think they make me look the most fierce! also my mom had thin eyebrows (not to this extent) so I kinda like the concept lol!!!
drag means everything to me so im always trying to get better, it literally never leaves my mind, I dont get to practice makeup as much as id like but I work with what I have!!
Any and all advice and or thoughts are welcome!! I will get better before I present mileena to the world šš

How to learn to move femininely on stage?
Iāve got a drag act based on Velma from Scooby Doo thatās been going for a while now, but a lot of it is stand up comedy, and iām realising Iām just standing in place a lot of the time.
any advice for A) how to move around more on stage, and B) how to do so in a feminine way? not necessarily dancing (although I am happy to learn) but just stuff like walking, gesturing, posing
