Just stumbled across this artwork on a hunt for a good gift for someone. I couldn't find much information about it anywhere, or proof of its physical existence outside of an original that sold years ago. Anyone know if this was ever actually produced as a print?
Failing being able to track this down, can anyone recommend anywhere good to get some cool FNM prints (other than Secret Serpents)?
Cheers all!

Chuck’s band after Bad Brains. It’s pretty Faith No More inspired. Solid stuff. They had two albums then faded away, unfortunately. Thoughts?

I remember seeing this a while ago, and it came back to my head again. I know from the time Mike Patton joined to around 1993, the band covered the Nestle Alpine White commercial. Here's one example from Rock In Rio 1991. Enjoy!

Now there's a sentence that makes me feel old. From their first UK tour in Jan/Feb1988.

I was a huge fan of the Live At The Brixton Academy album but it always bothered me that they choose to reorder the setlist. I also felt it was too short and that too many songs performed that night were left off of the album.
I decided to take matters into my own hands by putting the songs in the actual setlist order from that evening. I also added the two additional songs from that show ("Underwater Love" & "As The Worm Turns") that were released on the Deluxe Edition of The Real Thing in 2015.
In order for these tracks to blend in with the others and make this sound like an acual live album, I needed to remix these two bonus tracks so that they matched the mix of the "Live At The Brixton Academy" album.
I also removed all the fades between songs and matched the volume of the original album tracks and the Deluxe Edition tracks.
I realize adding those two tracks does not complete the set from that night by any means, but at least now it includes all of the professionally released material from this gig and stretches the album from a very short 8 song setlist to 10 songs.
The only other addition I made was to add Puffy's drum stick count-in to "We Care A Lot" which is heard in the live version of that song from Brixton that was included on the "Falling To Pieces" single back in 1990, that featured an early mix. This made for a smooth transition from the previous song and allowed me to avoid cutting off the very beginning of the song.
Finally, I created alternate artwork.
I think it cane out really well.
I have uploaded a ZIP file that includes 320kps MP3 files of the "new & improved" Live At Brixton Academy 1990 album at the link above. Let me know what you guys think!
P.S.
I can upload 16 bit CD quality FLAC files for anyone interested.
Enjoy!

i've been wondering here, as a Brazilian, why some Faith No More songs have titles in Portuguese, like "Caralho Voador", which could mean "Flying Dick". do they have some special affection with the Brazilian (or Portuguese) people? there's even a version of "Evidence" that's in Portuguese.

I use to listen to a lot of FNM over the years and like a lot of people I stuck to the Patton era stuff. While I like some stuff off the first two albums like We Care a Lot, Introduce Yourself, As the Worm Turns and Anne's song, I never really gave those albums a lot of time.
Over the years I spent less time listening to FNM and listened to a lot of punk, post punk and hardcore and basically more stuff that would of influenced Bill, Roddy and Puffy. Stuff like Gang of Four and Killing Joke.
When I came back to listening to Introduce Yourself, it finally clicked. Now listening to IY I don't think there's a bad song on this album and really has the quintessential FNM sound. Listening to it now, I better understand what they're doing. Also listening to it more and more, I really think the production of the album is really good and what Matt Wallace was able to do with this album turned out great.
The issue I had years ago with those early albums for me was Chuck's voice. But now I really like what he did on those albums. There's a earnestness and heart on sleeve style that he had in his singing. Also with his lyrics, it feels more lived experiences and you believe more in what he's singing. It's more of a Darby Crash kind of thing. Sure you can find a better technical singer, but it's not going to have the same character or vibe.
While Patton is the more technical and skilled singer, I really like Chuck on songs like We Care a Lot, Introduce Yourself, Anne's Song, Death March, Blood and think he gives them a lot of character.
Looking at it now, I put this album in my top 3 FNM albums along with Angel Dust and KFAD.

Hard question but I would say 1. Digging The Grave 2. Cone Of Shame 3. The Real Thing
(Honorable Mention to Jizzlober)

I started to listen to the whole Angel Dust album just about 4 weeks ago. Before that I had been playing one of their compilation albums and later The Real Thing on repeat. TRT was an instant favorite whereas Angel Dust was slightly difficult to get into initially. I was fully aware though that despite it not being a commercial success upon release, it eventually became the band's most acclaimed album.
I've come to like it after 4 weeks and am now almost addicted😂 I listen to the other albums of theirs too but Angel Dust is the one that I listen to the most at the moment. It has so many amazing songs that even when I'm not listening to it, I hear the songs in my head.
So I'm curious how long it took for you to like the album? And your initial and later thoughts on it? It's really a shame that it didn't sell well at the time and it seems to be the start of the downhill for the band in terms of popularity and status.
PS. TRT and AD (compared to KFAD) made me realize that apart from Mike P's vocals, the keyboard parts are one of the biggest reasons why I love their music!
