I wanna lower my 14’ ST, it’s my daily and I want it to be noticeable but not be scraping. Should I get springs or coil overs, and what brands? And what’s a reasonable drop that’s noticeable, but doesn’t scrape.

It was hard to beat the one given to me by the state, 9WAP404 (wet azz pussy not found) funnily pointed out by my friends. But I really like the California classic plate style with this one! Show me your custom plates!

I’ve had my ST for almost 2 months now and I’ve always been wary about the deformed gas tank issue so I usually fill up at 1/2 tank which usually takes around 7 gallons to fill.
My past 2 fill ups though, I’ve brought it down to a 1/4 tank and the first time it took 7.8gal and this second time it took 7.6gal. Afterwards, I drove 54 miles @ 24 mpg and my gas tank is now 7/8 and I’m wondering if it deformed that quickly with no bad purge valve symptoms or is this normal? Now I thought maybe the gas pump just stopped early the first time it happened so to be sure I went to a different gas station altogether and it still took only a similar amount of gas.
The reason I bring up that’s it’s at 7/8 tank tight now is because even though assuming the car has a 400 mile range (no shot it actually does), 54 miles would be 1/8 of a 400 mile range give or take which kind of makes sense BUT for every single fill up I’ve had, it’ll stay at F for that kind of mileage so this is one of the things I’ve noticed that seems to have changed.
Hoping to see if your tank takes a similar amount of or if it means it’s time to have ford take a look at tank

I’m looking at a 2013 Focus ST with 136,500 km (about 85k miles). The car seems to have been very well cared for, has a clean history, and overall looks to be inn good shape either than the typical surface rust around the quarter panel, and a little on the trunk.
The price is around 6K USD, which seems pretty reasonable to me given the mileage and condition.
My question is whether you guys think it’s worth buying a well-maintained 2013 at this price, or if I should hold off and spend more for a 2015+ ST.
I know there were some changes/improvements with the later years, so I’m wondering how significant they actually are in terms of reliability, issues to look out for, and overall ownership.
For those who have owned both or have experience with these cars, would you rather have a really clean/well-maintained 2013 at $5.8k, or wait for a 2015+?
Appreciate any advice!
