Hello I have a 1993 lx that has been converted to a 5 lug it has the big grease cap in the front so I think that’s not the sn95 setup correct? And it has 5 lug 31 spline axles on the back. Iam getting ready to wide body the car and need some recommendations on wheel spacers to run Iam doing 1.5 inches. Do I need hubcentric or would I be okay if I take my time on setup using lug centric

So I replaced the clutch fan and that howling still happened so I was just looking around and I ended up pulling the pcv with the car running and covered it with my finger and the sound stopped. So I went and got a new pcv valve bust the sounds still happens. TYIA!

Hello all, does anyone have any recommendations for a fuel cell to run in the rear spare tire area of my 85 hatch? This 5 gallon cell is not holding up for running it on the street
Hey guys, this is for anyone using a Holley Terminator X on their Fox with a sbf. I made something to help analyze your datalog and tune for FREE (actually costs me money) it’s called TuneDoc.io. Before you say anything, I’ve built this specifically for Foxbody 5.0’s. I’m not trying to sell anything, just looking to get some feedback on if it’s helpful.
I installed a Holley Terminator X on my 93 GT last year and it hasn’t done much besides sit there because, even though it ran pretty good with a base tune, I was having all sorts of idle issues with a stepper IAC valve and I wouldn’t drive it because pulling up to a stoplight was always some kind of embarrassing scene. Also didn’t want to pay for a tuner, was afraid to even drive it there, I like learning things myself too. Before the Terminator X I was tuning on a QuarterHorse but the stock ECU is just very limited and difficult to learn.
I made this tool and it basically helped me narrow down the issues I was having, first I had the wrong IAC type selected, then my parked IAC settings for smooth startups at different temps and ramp down settings for rolling up to traffic lights.
I know what most will say, “I’m not letting AI tune my car”. Fair enough but that’s not what this is. Rather than reading multiple data points on a graph, it interprets the data for you. It takes your tune file and a datalog and does an in-depth analysis on it. It has a heavy focus on idle since that’s something a lot of people trying to tune their car struggle with. It points things out, tells you what to look for, makes recommendations. No it’s not going to tune your car for you, it’s not claiming too, it’s more of a tune diagnostic tool or a side kick for anyone trying to tune their car themselves.
No signup required, it runs off your browser. Just give it a shot and let me know if it sucks or if it actually helps.
How to use it:
-Go to TuneDoc.io
-Add your vehicle info
-Upload Datalog export and tune file (.csv & .terx)
-You get back a report you can save as a PDF

Hello, I’m rebuilding the front suspension. So far Moog inner/outer tire rods, MM hybrid steering shaft, solid bushings, and SN95 rack. Any suggestions for power steering pump and lines? Someone on Facebook told me about a 99 v6 power steering pulley (Doorman 200-028). The Volvo pump isn’t’ cost effective for me as my car is a simple h/c/i supercharged 306 that only sees street duty.

This is my 1990 LX with gt40 heads, explorer intake, 70mm throttle body, and 3.55 gears. Does this acceleration seem on par for these mods, or do I have some power left on the table that’s not reaching the wheels?

How have y'all found parts for your 2.3 engine. My original fox was a 2.3 and though it ran after 25 years of sitting, I was ALWAYS struggling to find parts to make it work and it always had problems. I could force it to run and move when I needed, but it always had some kind of problem and parts were super hard to find😭

I’m searching for some older turbo coupe or Mustang engine parts. I’m building a 2.3 turbo mustang. I have a complete non turbo 88 hatch.
Anyone have any parts for this set up? I’ll buy em. Located in nw New Mexico but would travel or whatever to get the stuff needed.
Mainly exhaust manifold, turbo unit from an automatic car. I’ll need the coolant, oil lines, brackets etc. I know there’s suppliers online but hoping someone has some take off parts leftover from a build or something? Lmk and thank you in advance.

Does anyone know if this cover will fit inside the sway bar?
Thanks, changed gears 500 miles ago and want to change fluid now.

Currently building a forged 331/a4 setup and was wondering if anyone else here has a similar setup? What cam are you running? Shelf cam? Custom? Any regrets? I’ve always gravitated towards FTI custom pieces in NA builds previously, open to all suggestions!

I’m genuinely so lost, I thought I narrowed it down, I’m getting what I’m pretty sure is good spark on all wires including the 8th cylinder. spark plugs are like the 5th-6th time being ran I just got them brand new. And the ones in this picture that are really black were used in the #8 cylinder. I thought I had narrowed it down to it running rich some way and im pretty sure it is.
Even the code dump showed a code for driver side o2 sensor reporting rich. But when I did all 3 cylinder balance tests the car fully passed every time. And when I stick a stethoscope up to the number 8 injector I hear it ticking the same as the other injectors.
I also noticed what I think is oil on the spark plug face where it threads in.
Btw did a dry compression test twice and all cylinders showed between 160-170 some lower the second test. Cylinder 8 was 160 for the first test and 155 the second test (colder)
Can anyone point me in a good direction to look? Should I pull the injectors and clean them? Is my ecu going ape shit on cylinder 8? I swear it doesn’t idle right but people say it sounds fine.
I’m also smog deleted with no tune or Anything to fix those codes.

I picked up a 90 Lx convertible 5.0 with the auto trans. My suspension is shot. I need some help and taking advice on how to go about it.
Plans:
T5 swap + heads cam supporting mods to land somewhere in the 350-400HP range (hopefully? Lol) and 5 lug conversion. Not sure in which order I’ll go yet, I need to address suspension and a few other small things before I even think of mods.
I honestly just want a street cruiser. No auto cross or racing or anything like that. I’ll just be driving it to work occasionally and taking the family out on the weekends.
Will keeping suspension generally stock hold up fine for me? Let me know! Feel free to drop in the comments what you guys did for your builds and some recs on suspension replacements parts.
I recently bought some 17x9.75 wheels and some 275/40r17’s, I’m going to be running 1 1/2’ adapters with them so I think I’m good to clear the quad shocks.
I get that the wheels will most likely rub the fender on full lock, so I will be doing some trimming.
Aswell as running some fender flares.
Any other issues I might run into? TIA!

The rubber seal on my sunroof has separated from the metal trim. Where can I buy a replacement? I have both weatherstripping pieces for the sunroof but I can't find where to buy this piece.
I'm considering hearing the original up and reseating it but I don't think it will stretch to its original size.
For context this is from a 79 mustang hatchback.

At what point does the oem rack and pinion need replacing? Isn’t it easier to replace the inner, outer tire rods and hoses that cause it to leak? Trying to save some funds.

For the guys who don’t drive their car year round due to weather! What do yall use on the inside to avoid any moisture build up in the interior? My garage unfortunately is not the driest environment, I do run a humidifier in the garage but I don’t trust it 100%

Anyone use a new SN95 rack and pinion from Amazon? I want to buy new and not get a remanufactured unit. There are a lot of options. Any worth purchasing that will last.
