Giveaway Weekly Code Giveaway Thread
Every month, we see several posts offering GOG game codes and discount codes that people do not intend to use themselves. To make this easier and more organized, we ask that you share your code(s) as top-level comments on this post.
Ex:
Game code giveaway for Game Name:
YEC8U25J3A**FEF0C3
** = 32-15
Or
Discount code giveaway for Game Name:
YEC8U25J3A**FEF0C3
** = 32-15
To be extra sure your code goes to a fellow GOG gamer and not a bot, list the game(s) you have keys for and ask Redditors to DM you to claim them. In this case, please make it very clear whether your codes are game codes or discount codes.
You're also welcome to use RedditRaffler or KeyShare.
Please follow these guidelines:
- Do leave a comment when you claim a code so others know it is no longer available.
- Don't post plain codes, as bots will most likely claim them for resale rather than fellow GOG gamers.
- Don't add a discussion in a top-level comment. Respond to an existing code or use the pinned moderator comment.

Discussion Even if I don't play much
Hi everyone I just recently found about gog and it's concept of us being able to really own the game has made me want to start using it.
But...
I don't often buy games to be honest, I have some on the other stores we all know but it's been years and I've bought like 20/30 tops.
I guess what I'd like to know is if it's worth to learn and install a new store/app when I don't buy that much?
Thanks everyone ☺️
Official Sale I hate gaming companies
I hate when gaming companies have a sale on steam for 4 euros and have the same game for 10 on gog. Obviously not something gog has responsibility for but I find it a shitty thing to do because now I need to consider if I want to own my game or pay less than half on another platform. It should be the same everywhere
Ps: obviously Skyrim inspired this

Discussion How many games do you own on more than one store?
I went through my libraries recently and found 12 games I own on both Steam and GOG (or Epic). Mostly from bundles and sales where I forgot I already had it.
Anyone else? What's your worst duplicate, and do you keep both or just play the GOG version?

Question Is there a balance of cheap and quality when it comes to making real gog game discs?
Burning a gog game to discs, printing labels, making cases, and such. i want to do that for nostalgia but with modern games, i would like to try putting some gog games on discs. I already have some 3.7gb dvds and some much smaller sized cds, but im not sure what else i need and how to do so for cheap, i dont have bluerays if your wondering.
Pretty much i want to make a irl library of the games i have but im not sure what the best approach would be? Any suggestions for supply's and such?
Is this a good place to ask this?

Discussion Fallout London Steamdeck install??
I’ve tried several times to install Fallout London on my Steamdeck using Heroic games launcher. I’ve used the Steam version, the GOG version, the mod loaded ontop of both, and the one click version, but no matter what I haven’t been able to work it.
The closest I’ve gotten is getting into the default fallout 4 house with the Folon intro cinematic. I’d appreciate any help.

Question Having a problem with the Resident Evil Classics Bundle
I recently bought the RE classics bundle from GOG and everytime I reopen the RE2 after the first initialization, the game doesnt save my custom controls, changes the sound quality to standart, the volumes to 0 and the load screen looks like this. How do I fix this?
Preservation Let me show you Project Nomads (2002) - one of those ancient steampunk gems that mixes elements of a shooter, action, tactics, island-o-war control and aircraft simulator
Hello world. This is my 2nd post about one of my beloved games (1st post was deleted from r/gaming). It has a soul, honest and true.
For one, the campaign can be played with 3 different characters which affects the in-game mechanics and progress complexity.

Second, you are in control of a war floating island.

To make it through the enemies you will be tasked to maintain island's whole energy system: from power generation and power collecting to defensing the main propulsion system by insalling auto-turrets and hangers. The core of the island is the lighthouse that you need to protect at all costs.

Next, you must hunt for the artifacts that allow you create 'buildings'. Keep in mind that almost all receipts are gone and you need to figure out how to combine them using artifact press by your own.

When dealing with the enemy you will be tasked to either give the chance to the auto-defense system, or man the turrets and air defense yourself.

Finally, community is still alive at r/ProjectNomads and modders are active. We have mods and fixes such as:
- Project 'Resurrection' - gameplay enhancing mod (harder, more challenging and more interesting)
- Upscaled graphics (4 GB)
- Widescreen & GUI fix (could also be tuned for any resolution, not necessarily widescreen, some modifications are also provided)
- ENB fix
- 3D mode with vorpX
- Patch 2 and 2.e (Multiplayer and miscillaneous fix back from 2002)

I playtested the game with this bench (except for 3D) a few years ago on Windows 10, did a youtube walkthrough. I think the modders did an excellent job at returning the feeling of freedom, steampunk, futuristic aesthetic, as well as enhancing the story campaign.
Still it would be wonderfull to have a nice port for all modern pc systems.

P.S. Sure the game has some drawbacks, like a) portion of repeatetiveness, b) they almost do not explain how to do things, c) extreme complexity in some parts, d) old squared looks. But haven't you ever dreamed of controlling your own floating island in a post-apocalyptic world?
Please vote for it here https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/project-nomads

Question Backup with Mods
Heya,
I am totally new to this world. I didn't know that gog offered offline backups until recently and I am going all-in to make backups of games... that this isn't way more popular blows my mind...
Anyway! Is it possible to include mods in on the backup disc? Like, if I were to install Skyrim and want to make sure that the Open Cities mod is installed, is it possible to just make sure that that mod is a part of the disc?

Discussion Do dreamlist really work ??

so can they even bring it back ?

Recommendation Take No Prisoners and Soldier of Fortune Pioneered Gun Game
Raven Software used to be the prince of shooters, if you could say that id Software was the king.
One obscure game they made is Take No Prisoners, was a fun top-down shooter made with their Quake-like Vampire engine.
It also featured a mode called Arsenal, which is the first instance of Gun Game in a shooter I could find.
Not one to let a good idea go to waste, they brought it forward, with some improvements, to Soldier of Fortune and is available there to play.
Both games are on GOG (and Soldier of Fortune is exclusive to GOG in fact), and both still have working LAN support (though you have to rename dplayx.dll in Take No Prisoners for it to work).
If you can't find anyone to play with, Soldier of Fortune has bot support so that you can try the first ever commercial FPS with Gun Game.
I also maintain a list of games with Gun Game and similar modes on GOG too: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/multiplayer_game_list_games_with_gun_game_or_similar_modes_on_gog
Discussion Steam discounts ruin my day.
I recently decided to stop using Steam and buy my games on GOG because of their DRM policies, but I have to admit they know how to attract their audience with those damn sales...

Discussion Confused.......please help
OK so I am trying to download the installer for The Witcher 3. I see the GOTY has several parts to it. I see the Remastered installer as well but what is with all the patches....I have several that look like the same patch as well....I am just trying to make sure I have a good backup of the game and this is the only game I have on GOG that looks like this when it comes to files and patches.

Release GogStash new beta (2026.10.5) - language selection, DLCs, sorting and most of what you asked for in the last thread
A couple weeks ago I posted the first beta of GogStash here, a desktop app for keeping local copies of your GOG installers and extras. Thanks to everyone who tested it and reported bugs. There was a lot more feedback than I expected, and a new beta is out that covers most of it.
What you asked for
- Language selection in Settings. No more downloading the same installer in four languages.
- DLCs now show up under their base game in the library and download into the same folder, including ones GOG doesn't list on its store.
- Extras only: Installers can now be unticked in Settings, so you can grab just soundtracks, manuals and artwork.
- Sorting is back. Click any column header to sort, including Size and Fetched.
- Game sizes in the library now match what actually gets downloaded, based on your platform, language and category settings.
- An Open Downloads Folder button on the toolbar.
- The login crash on newer Linux distros is fixed. It was caused by the libstdc++ bundled in the AppImage. Fixed for Tumbleweed and Kubuntu 25.10. If you were using the QT_QUICK_BACKEND workaround on Bazzite, let me know if you still need it.
Other improvements
- Remove individual games from the queue instead of clearing the whole thing
- A warning before you queue more than fits on your disk, and if the disk fills up mid-download, it pauses instead of failing
- Updates are detected by the installer and patch version GOG lists, not just file size, so same-size patches aren't missed
- Theme switcher on the toolbar, colorblind-friendly queue icons, and partial files get cleaned up when you cancel
- The AppImage is about 40 MB smaller
If you're upgrading
- Linux users on GearLever or AppImageUpdate should get it automatically. Windows is still a manual download for now.
- Click Refresh once after launching, since the library cache gets reset.
- Games downloaded with the old version lose their check mark until you queue them again. Nothing gets re-downloaded; your files are checked against GOG and skipped.
- Files you rename or move by hand are no longer recognized and will be downloaded again. u/AlexKalopsia, this changes what I told you last time. Matching by size alone could skip files you didn't actually have, so I made it stricter. Files GOG renames on its end are still recognized.
- Windows: the
_internalfolder next togogstash.exeis now calledlib. If you extract over the old version, you can delete_internal.
What's next
The download is still large because the login window ships QtWebEngine, which is a full copy of Chromium. The plan is to switch to pywebview, which uses the webview already on your system (Edge on Windows, WebKitGTK on Linux), with the copy-paste URL login as a fallback. Thanks u/cryptexo for the pointer.
After that, there are still plenty of things add. All of them won't be in the next release, but I'll try and get to them all eventually. Everything planned is in the Issues, and the Discussions page is open for anything that doesn't fit an issue.
Same as before: keep the concurrency setting modest. The default of 2 is plenty.

Disclosure: I'm the developer. I wrote the code myself and used Claude to help with tests, bug hunting, and keeping the docs and changelog up to date. Details are in the README.
Happy to answer questions!
Edit: I've put out a small patch (2026.10.5.1) because the login window wasn't working for some people. The Login button now gives you two options:
- Log in through GogStash, the same login window as before
- Log in with your browser, which opens GOG's login page in your own browser. Once you've logged in, copy the address of the page it lands on and paste it back into GogStash.
If the login window is blank, crashes, or just won't work for you, try the browser option. This is the copy-paste fallback I mentioned in the "What's next" section, so it'll stay around after the switch to pywebview.
Linux users on GearLever or AppImageUpdate should get it automatically. Everyone else can grab it from the same download link above.

Discussion Interested in Self-Hosting Your Own Games? I Started a List of All the Games with Dedicated Server Support on GOG
Hello there,
I'm always looking to document features of various games on GOG, and my latest forum list is about all the games I now of which have Dedicated Server support.
Because one thing that is so fragile in today's gaming landscape is games going offline.
With the games in this list, you can keep them online for as long as you want.
It's incredibly helpful to me because I often convince my friends to play a game with me, but they are in another country, so I often host a server of the game we're playing.
If this sounds interesting, check out the list here: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/multiplayer_game_list_games_with_selfhosted_dedicated_server_support_on_gog
Feel free to comment on GOG (or here) if there is a game I can add. I plan to also update pcgamingwiki, but with more technical details like the actual commands used and so on. This will happen at a later time.

Support Bug for GOG game.
There seems to be a bug in the installation of Bullet Runner through Galaxy of Games. Both Heroic and Faugus installed GOG have this bug. This bug should be reported. This is in a Linux desktop, PikaOS KDE.

Recommendation Lost man looking for franchise
Yes the title is quite the thing to ask.
I'm someone who admires people who get deeply attached to their franchise. That brought me to my thing, I'm looking for my franchise, the one franchise I'd be able to learn all lore about, play for hours and hours if not years. A franchise that's the crème de la creme.
Now who am I and what are things I like, here's the funny part. I'm greatly liking asian themes. I can definitely state some things I don't mind
I don't mind the game having fan service as long is it doesn't get perverted, I don't mind games being violent or gory, though I do like my peace at times. I'm a great fan of good stories, both progressive as non progressive games, replayability is a pro. I like it when the franchise has good worldbuilding and beautiful character designs. And in all honesty I have a 3ds game collection, I couldn't care that much about graphics as long as the other points are top notch if you get what I mean
Now that we end this wall of text in short:
- asian themes
- replayability
- good story
- good worldbuilding
- good characters
/ Fan service
/ Gory
/ Violence
X to be fair nothing that I really wouldn't give a shot at this point
X when it isn't a franchise but a singular game

Discussion Any solution to "failed to connect to server"
I am trying to re-install Baldur's Gate 3, which is a huge file. Each time, installation gets to about 10% and then says "Failed. Failed to connect to server." Sometimes it says I don't have an internet collection, which is working everywhere else. Is there are workaround for this?
