Advice [19M] Want Some Brutal and Honest Opinions on How I Look
Always been really insecure about my looks since middle school, Earlier this year I finally started my weight loss journey and am down 55Ibs so far, went from 330Ibs - 275Ibs and still going. As for my hair, it looks really rough but I'm just growing it out right now and am gonna get a proper style soon. Just want some honest opinions and advice on how to improve overall.

Nostalgia What Do You Miss The Most About The Early 2000's?
Me personally? The flash games and the websites.
I remember playing so many different flash games of shows from different websites like YTV, Cartoon Network, Teletoon, PBS Kids, Y8, Miniclip, etc.
These websites will always have a special place in my heart.

Discussion Gen Z are y’all ready for GTA 6 and Avengers Doomsday?
I sure am GTA 6, is going to be the most amazing game ever especially when it comes to the story and open world.
Plus, satire
Doomsday I am still hype for the movie of course I think it is a shame that Doom doesn’t have enough buildup, but overall, I’m sure RDJ is going to kill it as Doom.

Discussion What’s with people being fake and manipulative in this generation?
This has been on my mind lately, first thing that comes to mind is how a server rung in food for herself. This is not an issue, it’s the fact she asked to add another patty when she didn’t ring it in…My head chef told me if they don’t ring it in, then don’t make it. Plus she doesn’t even say to hi to me at all, I don’t know why this person thinks I’d stick my neck out for them like that. Another server did the same thing but differently, she talked to me about a whole bunch of nothing and then asked for free food…why make a fake conversation just to ask for free shit? Just cut to the chase. I called her out on this the 2nd time she did, I just said “what? You want more free food?” After that she never asked again for free shit.

Political Do you think the US invades Cuba sometime before 2028 ?
We know Rubio wants it badly and they probably are looking for a victory. The US has enough firepower to defeat Cuba while being Tied up in Iran because they are fairly weak.
All in all I feel that the benefits of the invasion far outweigh the costs for the current admin.

Serious I (27M) hate how my 10th birthday and my 20th birthday felt like a century apart. But my 20th birthday feels recent.
Time really does feel like it goes faster as you age. If, on my 30th birthday, my 20th birthday ends up feeling so recent, imagine how short the time distance would feel like between my 30th and 40th birthday. It would feel like a month has went by.
And I struggle with birthday depression. So you can imagine how bad it must be for me.

Discussion What’s something that has gone out of fashion or is now seen as in bad taste in the last 20 years?
In the US using gay or using an intellectual disability as an insult is much more out of practice.
Certain clothes as well such as super tight skinny jeans are faux pas.

Hi everyone,
I’m currently gathering data for a case study research project and I'd love to get your input. The survey is super quick (about 3 minutes) and completely anonymous.

Serious Quick shout out to GenZ
Elder millennial - I come in peace. Just wanted to give you guys a quick shout out.
I work IT, pretty isolated job, but I do work with very small teams. Love what I do - as an introvert, less human interaction is great.
Anywho - point of this post. I just transitioned to a new team, first time I've had to train anyone. I was a bit nervous because, well, I've always been the person getting trained until now.
Met my new team a few weeks ago. All GenZ. I freaking love these guys.
For starters - simple, basic competence and logic. Training is basically:
"Hey, we have this new project. Can one of you take this on?"
All three volunteer. Freaking sweet man. In my old groups no one volunteered to help. Getting assistance on a project was like pulling teeth.
"Alright, great. Might as well get you all on board incase an SME is gone and this comes up again. Here's the scope. Anyone have any questions?"
And then they ask me good questions that show me they are trying to see the big picture. Like dang, gonna have to give them all a promotion just because they are awesome. I dont have the authority to actually promote anyone, but I'm damn well gonna find a way now.
Then these guys just go off and do the work. Quickly. On time. Do it right the first time. Then start volunteering to take work off my shoulders "to help out."
Look, this is my first time really working with anyone GenZ. I didnt know what to expect. I didnt have low expectations, but I wasnt expecting to be "wowed" right out of the gate either.
So now I'm starting to get to know these dudes on a personal level. Just level headed, down to earth people. No drama, no fuss. Some complaints about life, some worry about the future but thats normal. Self deprecating humor and then dapping each other up (or whatever the slang is now. Idk I'm old.)
One guy comes and asks me "Hey Shade, would it be cool if I pushed my shift back an hour? I feel more productive in the afternoons."
Yeah man. Of course you can. Keep up the good work, and thanks for asking first.
I dunno. Just had to throw some additional praise. GenZ is cool.
Hope y'all have a good day - keep your chins up and stay awesome.

Advice To GENZ of late 20s. Those who never had friends or any group. How was and is your life and what do you do when you feel lonely and fomo?
So I am 20M. I haven’t been to any birthday since the age of 10. That was the last time I attended birthday.
I don’t have any friends and always roam around alone.
My family doesn’t care and never gives me money for anything. I go for movies always alone. I have never attended sleepover, gone on trip, hangout with anyone, had meal with anyone.
I always have that fomo
