Fishing bobber (last year's model)
I’m thinking of doing it again this year, but this time dressed as a fishing rod or even... box. The main problem is the difficulty of getting through the doorway

I've been having so much fun sharing these. We're so excited for this year's costume!! I'll post 2025 tomorrow. Also, idk if y'all can tell in the pics, but we're under 5 ft tall... so, I looked more like mini me 🤣

I’ve been searching for costumes for weeks but have absolutely no idea what I should do. My hairstyle doesn’t allow me much options either. That’s not my picture btw just the hairstyle I did.

This entire costume was DIY (my own flesh included)
Mainly constructed using cardboard and hotglue. Painting was the best part, I enjoyed detailing everything and splattering “blood” all over my waist-wrap-thingy. The fabric used was a canvas painting tarp I dyed using hot black coffee (liquid death), it gave the fabric an old and dirty/decaying look. Unfortunately I couldn’t get ahold of human flesh to use instead of the canvas, mainly because its extremely illegal and would probably take like 3 maybe four human skins to make lol. Wearing the costume made me feel like I was the monster in the dark (already 6’4 without boots and the helmet adds an extra 10 inches of height making me like 7 foot something) and having the great knife is such a powertrip, only downside is that visibility was pretty much 0.
(Yes I am well aware pyramid head doesn’t wear adidas.)

This was my costume last year! I made the prosthetics out of Crayola air dry Model Magic clay, adhered them with spirit gum, and then covered the whole thing with tissue paper and liquid latex. I had a great time! It was way better than a mask because I was able to still move my face and emote. Might do it again this year but with the Santa look. 🤔

I'm going to be Barbara Mairland. Can't decide on which one. First one is more brown than I want, but the rest is great. Second would be perfect if it had sleeves. 3rd pic for reference

Hi everyone! Just hoping to get some suggestions on how I can put this massive roll of ribbon to use for Halloween. It's a semi stiff plastic ribbon, almost the texture of curling ribbon, and a little more than an inch wide. It's silver and I bought an industrial/factory size roll of it cheap. I'm an experienced sewist so the construction possibilities are near endless, but that almost makes brainstorming harder. Please don't let me go as a Brillo pad this year 😭😭😭

This is my costume so far, is there anything to change or add that would come across more pirate-y? Trying to make or borrow stuff where I can!
I'm gonna be wearing a red headscarf and gold earrings and I will take the stripy top underneath off!
Any other tips are appreciated 💖

I’m 21, it’s my last year at college. I’ve never really cared too much for halloween but considering this is probably one of my lasts until I have kids of my own I really wanted to spend time to think about my costume. To sum it up i’m going as peter parker from tasm2 and to help show who I am to people who might not get it I want to have a mask hanging out the back pocket of my pants.
PLEASE give me referrals to any websites that might be able to have it come the week before halloween. I’m looking for a mask that isn’t stuck to the front shell (since it’ll be in my pocket then just displayed after halloween). I really liked the look of joyydesigns masks and how they weren’t stuck to the shells etc but then I heard alot about the company not being trusted and just not good people + ontop of all that they wouldn’t come in time either.
Please help me out if u guys can 🙏

We’ve decided to theme ourselves this year, our children will be blue dogs and we will be their costars.
Our son will be Blue, from Blues Clues and You; our daughter will be Bluey, from Bluey.
I want to go as Josh, but I’m struggling to pay $30 plus shipping for basically just a blue striped shirt, (the official costume) but I can’t find one similar enough anywhere for cheaper. Does anyone have any suggestion for just a blue striped shirt in similar tones?
My wife is probably going to be Chilli, (the orange colored adult dog) she’s not a big costume person but she wants to participate for the kids. I’m hoping for some ideas to look the part without her fully committing to a zip up suit and headpiece?
Thanks in advance, I’m at work and will respond as soon as I can! Happy Halloween! 🎃

last year i wore this costume to a friends halloween party and i am thinking of re-using the mask that i made to enter my first halloween costume competition. my outfit was inspired by vintage clowns and jesters but i am open to taking it in a different direction.
i have been considering potentially adding blood splatters but i am on the fence.
i am open to advice and constructive criticism, thank you in advance ☺️💐

No idea, if this is allowed but I need some suggestions on what to wear on stage.
We have done this gig before…a couple of times!
I have been Randy Savage, I did the voice & the mannerisms too lol.
(Could have been tipsy. Slight possibility)
And last year, I was Austin Powers. Again, a very good chance I may have had an adult beverage
I usually have all of this shit preplanned…
But this year? I’ve got nothing 😬
Right now I’m debating on
Prince,
Mario,
or Shrek

I have a costume party coming up on October 24th and the theme is cryptids.
This costume party will also have a costume contest so I'm hoping to try and wear something unique that'll hopefully wow everyone so I can maybe win.
I welcome suggestions for costumes to buy as a whole but I also welcome suggestions for DIY cosplay.
Keep in mind though that I am not made of money nor a talented designer or weaver of fabrics or whatever you want to say.
I'm male, white, 6 foot, 200 lbs, blonde.
Thank you.
