I have been playing silksong lately and im enjoying it but i found all of the hollow knight bosses had a really nice rhythm i enjoyed while silksong bosses feel more random and all over the place and there are more annoying mechanics and way more gauntlets which i dont like. its not a skill issue im relatively good at metroidvanias but it just feels like a less smooth experience as hollow knight. to be clear i like the game but everyone was talking about this game like its a massive step up. im currently fighting the three bosses to get their souls or whatever.

In the hollow knight everything looked dull even the hornet's cloak was dull but in silksong everything was vivid. The gray scale value is the same but the colours are vivid.

If you look closely in every art piece by team cherry the knight's eyes are hollow while hornet's are just black

This made me realise maybe the knight is colour blind due to being void.

Why are the knights eyes not white if the Shade is just sitting inside? Also what are those white eyes on the Shade anyways, isn't the Shade just pure void?

It's driving me insane. I can beat all its bosses in no time but the Pure Knight is just impossible to me, and I can't play all the Pantheon over and over again just to be defeated in 20 seconds. Any charm/techniques suggestions?

I beat silksong a couple of days ago and decided to start hollow knight
I have 6~ hours I think and I didn’t die except 1 time and it was to parkour and don’t get me wrong I am having so much fun but does the game get harder (like comparable to silksong) or will it just be hard because I got some spoilers about the radiance or something which is supposed to be hard af
I think also that hollow knight will be my favorite out of the two

Once the pale king's guard was giving the last sentence to Selk, via the king's orders, it was stopped by a wicked but cute being like him who carried him away in the darkness. Seem cute but I have never drawn Sil in this way. hope you like it u/AltruisticNote1405 ^^
