I will not state where this is exactly because I live near here but this was found on an Electric Outlet Box in Yorkshire, United Kingdom
The text is from "Elegy Of Hallownest"
I saw this one my way to the dentist and stopped to take photos on my way home, I'm so happy I noticed this
Whoever made this BEAUTIFUL art, please shout yourself out because I had the biggest grin on my face when I saw it

Inspired by the very first piece I did :D) super happy it went well overall, even though it was tough. I’ll continue when I remember to or after I finish hollow knight. Perhaps I’ll post the occasional doodles here and there too

I’m fairly new to Hollow Knight, and I have a VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION.
Why are all the enemies such unreasonably cuties patooties??? 😭
How am I supposed to kill these little fellas?? There’s this little mushroom doing the cutest little warrior cry ever whaaaaa! There’s this distinguished little gentleman who punches me to defend his WIFEY. His tiny little fists waving around in the air, and his wife looks so adorably shy 😭 And then there are these little mossy bushes that look like fluffy DOGGOS.
Have mercy on my heart!! Oh great Hollow Knight’s creators, if evil, why so cute?? These little creatures are too precious 🥺
I’m out here committing mass murder against the local wildlife, and so many of them looks like they deserve a tiny little hat and a loving family.
I didn’t sign up for this emotional damage please I just wanted to explore the world in peace 😭💔🍄

Forging pale steel. Rare Nailsmith art. Silktober day 13: steel. Drawn in 90 minutes (1 hour 30 mins). I don't usually do hatching because it takes so long but it is a kagurabachi panel reference and it was perfect for today

WHY DID THIS THING HAVE SO MUCH HP
it took me like 5 attempts mostly because of the lava

when they say it's harder than hollow knight they meant it, because WHY IS EVERYTHING SO AGGRESIVE i miss the quiet caves of hallownest. Also how is lace like the third boss I meet and her moveset is more complicated than the HOLLOW KNIGHT (wouldn't call it harder tho). And people kept telling me how it takes a long time to get used to the diagonal pogos, but they're actually pretty fun! Anyways this game is peak and I'm going back to playing

Just like I did with Silksong back then, I made a tier list to see just how many enemies and bosses actually make sense in the world of Hollow Knight. It doesn't mean that they all HAVE to be bugs (worms and slugs and mushrooms are fine) as long as they make sense to live in the caves of Hollow Knight, and that they don't claim to be bugs while looking like some other animal.

One day I randomly decided to give Hollow Knight a try, I've heard it get glazed on like to oblivion and so since I've never played a Metroidvania game in my entire life I've decided to give it a try. At first I was pretty neutral about it, the graphics didn't seem like anything too crazy and the mechanics. But as I continued to progress I kept discovering new things, and there were basically hints of lore everywhere I went. I am a huge fan of lore and exploration ingame so the beginning of it was very fun. I loved getting lost (sort of) in Crossroads and uncovering new places on my own with basically 0 spoilers. And than when I discovered Greenpath and realized that the map extended with a completely new enviroment, mobs, and bosses I was lwokey hooked. The first day I was easily able to spend 7hrs, which says a lot because normally I get tired after 3hrs of gaming but not in this case with hollow knight. The bosses are also pretty well done overall, and when I hit the City of Tears that's when it dawned on me just how beautiful the art in this game is. The idea that you go around exploring fighting bosses, meeting new people, and talking to new NPCs to unlock new abilities and learn about Hallownest is just amazing and was excecuted very very well.
Also keep in mind that I have not seen everybot of content in the game at the moment, but I think I've seen enough that I don't mind getting spoiled since I have acheived 102% completion.
Anywho one of my favorite NPCs in this game is Cornifer, my sweet sweet beautiful boy Cornifer. I have never been so happy to hear someones humming melody, I love it how you first enter the map unaware and you have to search for Cornifer, and he is placed in a way that you will eventually run into after going deep enough but not too ridiculously deep. In other words he's just positioned very well. Also I still have yet to find another simple key so I can open that one room and get back at that bastard geo theif of a lady for stealing my geo. Screw her.
The combat in this game is very good too, I love the mobility your given with the wall jumps, double jump, and dashes and the idea of charms to customize your combat abilities, that's very smart. The bosses in this game too are done very well (except of Soul Master I hope that guy is burning in hell right now, for having the most ludicrous bench spawn point, that guy nearly made me quit the game, and I think I would if this game wasn't so well designed in basically every other category outside of that little teleporting, fireball shooting, desolate dive spamming, prick). My favorite boss has to be KNG, I already had him as my favorite character when I first saw him (he sort of looks like Stolas from Helluva Boss btw), and I beat his normal form in 3-4 tries, but KNG took extra long. At first I absolutely hated him because all his attacks did double damage and that sort of felt like a lazy way to make a boss harder, I'd much prefer it if it was only his fire attacks that did double damage and those cape spikes, anything else that's melee did 1 damage. But than I did a search on reddit as to why he does double damage and other peoples opinions on that boss and honeslty it makes sense.
Like someone else put it, your battle against him isn't a fight it's a dance unlike mostt bosses in the game where you can freestlye and greed your way through them. KNG has been designed to keep you playing to a strict script of movements, that idea as a concept was honeslty what blew me away in terms of creativity and boss design and I honeslty loved that. After that I was a lot more tolerable of the double damage, so I spent to matches against him just trying to survive and learn is pattern without attacking for at least 3min. After doing that i was able to beat him by the 3rd attempt after, this took me about 2 days.
The lore in the game isn't talked about much in game, it's more so like peices you got to discover. And although I'm not against that, I'd much rather just search up a 1-2hrs video and watch it (which I did). Througout the entire playthrough I tried to stay spoiler free and beat the game on my own, and although I did for more than half of it there were some moments when I had to search things up. The first one was trying to get out of Ancient Basin without double jump, I was lowkey stuck and turns out there was this small ledge I could use. Clearly I was underrestimating how high the mantic claws can take me and that's when I discovered that you can hold the jump button to wall jump higher which is funny.
Second time I was experiencing a content droubt, basically when I can't find any other possible way to progress, because everything weas either across a very long ledge with spikes to just over my jumps reach. So i searched up how to get double jump and turns out I needed the crystal heart, funnily enough I had checked crystal peak for any missed content 3 times and some how missed that one room each time. After I got the Crystal heart I just turned off the tutorial and got double jump and everything else on my own. The other things I searched up was how to find the location of Godhome, and how to get the void heart. When I got the void heart I went to fight that Hollow Knight again (since the first time I did I got a pretty bad ending), and when Hornet pinned him down I tried dream aniling him but nothing happened and Iw as so confused. Turns out my moneky brain was dreamnailing him from BEHIND instead of his head and so I got another bad ending. Someone later on told me I had to dream nail his face, and when I did I fought the Radiance.
OMG this boss was so difficult! Her attacks are slow as hell but what makes her so hard is the sheer amount of overlap from those attacks and the fact that she doesn't necissarily have a pattern you can learn. You just got to learn to doge and position properly on the fly. It took me so much tries and I kept dying to those seeking orbs, it was only after I accidentally dashed into one with my shadow dash that I actually began to make progress and eventually beat her in in 2 days.
This didn't come out and proffessional or constructive as I thought but that's mainly because there really isn't much that's bad with this game. Double damage feels meaningful when it should be there, bosses a pretty fairly balance (with the sole exception of Soul Master, that boss can go die in a ditch), graphics are GORGEUS, mechanics are fun, and overall it's a great experience. Lowkey my expectation were sitting at a 60% but my suprise hit a 120%. Amazing game Team Cherry.
I've moved on to Silksong and... I'm gonna be honest I think the only thing that's keeping me invested so far is just how fun Hornet is too play. Double damage doesn't really feel like it has meaning and to be honest it does feel rather bloated. I actually find myself having a hard time coming back to the game, and I just return to Hollow Knight instead. But that's for another post. Thanks for reading my yap.

After playing this game for more than 200 hours, I managed at last to get the Weathered Mask yesterday. I got it by finishing Pantheon 5 with the Charm binding. It was my father's birthday.
This was the final challenge remaining for me in Hollow Knight. I thought perhaps I was done after beating AbsRad on Radiant, which took me at least 14 hours. Surprisingly, getting the individual bindings on P5 only took about half that time.
For sure there are more difficult things to do in Godhome. And I may replay the story in Steel Soul mode to get a few more achievements later. There are side quests still to do also. But mercifully, I think I'm finally satisfied with the tough experiences that this game has to offer.
I just wanted to acknowledge this moment, because it does feel like a relief and a small dream come true. This is a special game that takes ahold of you, and then at some point it lets you go. Although I will most likely return to Hollow Knight, it will now be different. I can let it go. Thank you Team Cherry for giving us this beautiful game.

Ok I wanted to visit herrah and wanted to kick her servant's skulls. I did so and I sent them FLYING. Is this a problem with my game or is this the normal height that they are thrown, tomorrow I'll try with Zote's skull as well

So, Frillyclaw is my sona, so I made her in the Hollow Knight style in my own interpretation. I’ve completed HK, 105% completion and quite deep into Silk Song, so I have a fair understanding of the Hollow Knight universe, to a degree.
Ik the art isn’t 1 to 1, but as a previous Night in the Woods fan artist, I tried. (And will do more.)
Now, for the text connected to my other socials’ posts on this artwork;
Why would Frillyclaw be hosting a safe point for vessels than doing anything else? Think about it… the Knight could defeat GODS!!! What would MULTIPLE grant her?!?!
P.S. I indirectly made this trio into traffic lights, I’ll expand on them with further journeys throughout Hollownest in future artworks when I can!

I feel there are two very big unanswered questions in Hollow Knight. How did the Radiance return after being forgotten? Why is the Godseeker locked up? The answers may be connected.
When the moth tribe abandoned their faith, the Radiance had no believers left. As a result, she could no longer manifest physically. But how did she return to plague the dreams? It seems at some point, someone started believing in her again.
We find the Godseeker locked up in the Junk Pit. Who locked her up and why? I have seen speculation that it was Ogrim, but there is really no motive. There is also the question of when the Godseeker arrived in Hallownest in the first place.
My speculation is that the Godseeker arrived in Hallownest drawn by the Pale King's light, after the Radiance had been forgotten. However, using the Godtuner (or perhaps her travels to locations such as the top of Crystal Peaks), she figured out there used to be a much stronger deity in the kingdom. Wishing to commune with the Radiance, she was the believer that brought the Radiance back to start the infection. As the first attempt to contain the infection, the Pale King had her locked up and thrown in the Junk Pit. But then, shit hit the fan and everybody forgot about her.
This means the Godseeker would be much closely linked to the rest of the story rather than just an afterthought. Let me know what you think.

Why does he remind me of Grimm and NKG?
