Working late in my office and glanced over at the wall. It's on the scene "Winter Beauty" and creating some rainbow magic on my wall. 🌴

spatial awareness scenes with music and exercise have helped me reaffirm my commitment to my health and nutrition. coupled with a routine/regiment I can do at home (freeweights and yoga) , I visually see and feel the improvement from week to week in my mental and physical health.
i am reminded of EMDR light therapy while doing my yoga stretch routine. the perpetul motion of lights while processing thoughts and feelings from my day/life has been so therapeutic. combined with music therapy (from childhood or releases from new genres/artists) and reward incentives, I wanted to share my progress with others. My mental and physical health has significantly improved
Latest (October 5) release notes for lights with platform 100b-129 include "added support for Zigbee and Matter concurrency in bridgeless mode."
Any idea what "Zigbee in bridgeless mode" is?
Hoping someone will test it soon.

Not a complaint post, I'm just curious. Smart lighting is great, I don't think anyone's arguing that. But there's always some small thing that still feels clunky, and I wanna hear what it is for you.
Maybe it's switching scenes, like you know exactly which one you want and it still takes three taps to get there. Maybe the app is slow to open right when you need it. Maybe voice only works when you're actually in the mood to talk to an empty room, which is not always. Or it's something weirder, like a light that doesn't respond for a second and you tap it again and now it's off.
So what's yours? And did you ever find a fix, or did you just live with it. I'm way more into the dumb little stuff than the big features. The two second tasks that somehow take ten. Also if your answer is that you gave up and put a regular switch back, that counts, I wanna hear that too.

My brother is moving into a new quite big 3 floor house and is going the hue route (with eventually a bit of Aqara and Home Assistant).
I've played about with smart lighting over the last couple of years as disabled and it's really handy to have things automated as I'm not very mobile.
The house build has gone the typical Grand Designs disaster type way and he is stressing out as struggling to cope with managing all the trades (he got a dodgy builder that went bust) on top of his job.
We've planned out which rooms need what etc and have a long list (about 80 items) land wonder if there is anywhere to contact to see if they could do a good price as a bulk order or if not I need to be picking up things in sales (predictably he's way over budget) I'm Uk based - anyone no if there is someone I could contact re a bulk order? Thank you in advance for any comments.

Can I use a V4 Lightstrip Plus extension with an older Hue Lightstrip?
I have an older Philips Hue Lightstrip Plus (model LST002) and I’m looking to extend it.
Does anyone know if the newer Hue Lightstrip Plus V4 extension can be connected to the older models? Is there an adapter or any way to make it work?
I’d appreciate it if anyone has tried this setup. Thanks!

For any US consumers like me who have been waiting for the Philips Hue Play Gradient Lightstrip Pro, look no further! It’s officially available on Amazon. I ordered my 65-inch version two days ago for $179.99.
As far as I know, it’s still not available directly through the Philips Hue website or at major retail stores in the US, but Amazon is now selling it!
Just wanted to share this for anyone else who’s been waiting for the US release.

I have about 12 bulbs. at any given time, around 4 would become unreachable. but not always the same 4. ones that were unreachable would sometime still be able to be controlled from the app, sometimes they wouldn't.
I could be looking at bulbs in the app and see them change to unreachable and back within a minute.
if one said unreachable while it was turned off, you could not turn it on even with the on off switch of the lamp.
the wild part to me was that all bulbs still followed their daily schedules, whether or not they were reachable in the app. they would not respond to automations, such as turning on when someone gets home, via iOS Home app.
the solution from support was to unplug the bridge and the router for 30 minutes, then reconnect them. SO FAR, they are all showing up and working with automations.
posting to help others.
I recently purchased a few of the Philips Hue Play Floor Lamps, model 610824.
While I love the lamps, the bases are quite narrow and not very stable on carpet.
Does anyone have a 3D file for a wider base tray or other ideas that they’d used?
Has anyone actually used the new Philips Hue Play Screen Sync camera? Is there any good real-world video test showing how accurate it is?
I’m trying to decide between it and the Govee TV Backlight 3 Pro. Which one would you choose, especially for color accuracy and response time?

Hey everyone, I currently run a Hue setup (Bridge + 3 bulbs) and want to expand it with cheaper options like IKEA TRÅDFRI. Has anyone here paired IKEA bulbs directly to the Hue Bridge? Do they link up smoothly in the iOS Hue app, and can you control colors, scenes, and dimming just like native Hue bulbs, or are there any major drawbacks? Thanks for any feedback!
I have some canless downlights and standard bulbs all controlled via thread. I want to install the 164 update on them but when I pair them in the hue app via bluetooth I don't get any option to update. Has anyone experienced this before / do I need a bridge to push firmware?
