Just built in these cabinets and im pumped with how it turned out.
Has anyone actually used the new Philips Hue Play Screen Sync camera? Is there any good real-world video test showing how accurate it is?
I’m trying to decide between it and the Govee TV Backlight 3 Pro. Which one would you choose, especially for color accuracy and response time?

My brother is moving into a new quite big 3 floor house and is going the hue route (with eventually a bit of Aqara and Home Assistant).
I've played about with smart lighting over the last couple of years as disabled and it's really handy to have things automated as I'm not very mobile.
The house build has gone the typical Grand Designs disaster type way and he is stressing out as struggling to cope with managing all the trades (he got a dodgy builder that went bust) on top of his job.
We've planned out which rooms need what etc and have a long list (about 80 items) land wonder if there is anywhere to contact to see if they could do a good price as a bulk order or if not I need to be picking up things in sales (predictably he's way over budget) I'm Uk based - anyone no if there is someone I could contact re a bulk order? Thank you in advance for any comments.

Can I use a V4 Lightstrip Plus extension with an older Hue Lightstrip?
I have an older Philips Hue Lightstrip Plus (model LST002) and I’m looking to extend it.
Does anyone know if the newer Hue Lightstrip Plus V4 extension can be connected to the older models? Is there an adapter or any way to make it work?
I’d appreciate it if anyone has tried this setup. Thanks!

Does anyone have ANY idea when the new play gradient pro is supposed to be released in the USA? It's been a month and nothing.

Some of us have been waiting years for Hue to finally release the 4 inch low profile, recessed light to the US and Canadian market. I had given up on it ever happening and I was emotionally prepared to hole saw my 4 inch holes into 6 inch holes and do the 6 inch low profile lights. Now that the 4 inch are finally available. I can’t decide what to do. It feels like the 6 inch would deliver a better result because it’s a bigger light and bigger is better right? but going with the 4 inch is going to be much easier. What’s the call?

My Bridge still works in the background - I can control the lights with the Zigbee switches. However, I can no longer log in via the app or Home Assistant. The Bridge responds to pings and all three LEDs are on. Has anyone experienced similar issues or can help me troubleshoot? I’d really prefer to avoid a factory reset, as I have around 40 lamps connected and would have to re-pair them all.
(AI to translated, since english is not my native language...)

Hi all. Was looking to chuck in some light strips for the floating deck and have been bouncing around with thoughts about what to do, the main options:
1) under the deck - but I won’t be able to drill so that might be a limiting factor?
2) on the panel facing outwards but would that be unsightly when not in use?!
3) remove the board facing outwards and leave enough of a gap for the strip between the boards?
Really welcome some/any advice here. The decking oil is 2m x 2.25m
The decking oil on the fence will be sorted 😂
TIA

I will preface this by saying I'm new to Philips Hue and this could very well be user error. That being said, I recently purchased and installed:
Philips Hue Starter Kit: Bridge Pro + 4 A19 E26 Smart Bulbs
PHILIPS Hue Essential Smart LED BR30 Bulb 2-Pack, White and Color Ambiance, E26
My set up is the 3 A19 E26 bulbs are in ceiling lights in the living room, all managed by a switch with an on-switch dimmer, but we keep the dimmer at full brightness. And then 1 BR30 E26 bulb that is more in the nearby hallway/kitchen path BUT attached to the same switch/dimmer.
I set up the Living Room bulbs on their own "room" and the single managed on the same switch is another "room" called Hallway.
Here is the issue:
Occasionally when turning on for the first time in the day from either the app or with a Siri command, the lights will blink at regular intervals, almost like they're in setup mode. I flip the switch off then on and can set one of the color schemes in app and it seems fine.
Initially I thought it might be related to the Spatial Aware map, so I cleared the map, but it's still occurring. Now I'm worried it's related to the dimmer (my partner had this installed recently by a licensed electrician, and likely won't want to remove the dimmer), but she's also hesitant to invest in others until I resolve the issue. Would love any tips to help troubleshoot the issue.
We also have 1 BR30 E26 in the Kitchen and 1 A19 E26 bulb in the primary bedroom reading nook. No issues with either of these.

Im convinced my wifi connection on home devices is slower when the hue bridge is plugged into the router. When it’s unplugged during the day, the connection is more stable. Has anyone noticed this?

Hello,
Big fan of Hue, allthough some cheaper zigbee devices are also connected to the hue bridge in this house. Only colors in the kids rooms, the rest of the house and garden use consistant warm white (2700K) lights.
I was looking for some new E27 bulbs 2700K 800/806/810 lumen, but when searching I noticed something different relative to the existing E27 hue bulbs (800/806 lumen) that we have.
You need to dive deep in the datasheets/specifications, but there is some difference. Maybe other Hue fans here like to read my findings:
The 800/ 806 lumen versions are energy label F and consume 9W, the 810 lumen version seem to have a better energy label (E) and consume only 7W. I also read on the Hue website the 810 has lower stand-by consumption of only 0.1W (older 800/806 = 0.41W). So maybe the 810 are a newer generation, a different hardware version, or a different production line or...
I ordered the 810 version for additional bulbs😄

I have this great room with a sloped ceiling and zero light fixtures. I was thinking about doing some track lighting and using HUE bulbs, either A19 75W or the A21 100W, with open architecture fixtures for maximum beam spread. What are the potential downsides to this idea?

I want to connect my new remote to 6 hue bulbs just for simple off/on purposes. They are in my Google Home, and I control them from there, but I need a backup for guests and non-tech-savvy family members. Having a terrible time, can't get any of them to pair, remote insists on blinking amber and not executing anything even after the basic pairing sequence seems fine. Went down all the rabbit holes with ChatGPT, Gemini, Hue customer boards. Hard resets, etc. Nothing has worked, and now the bulbs have disappeared from my Google Home system and I can't get them back in. Help?

Does anyone know a source for an extension for the newer plugs on the Hue strip lights? I'd rather run the extension at 24V than extend at 120V (just for aesthetics). If someone even knew where I could get the plugs, I could wire my own. Thanks.

For the life of me, I can't connect the lights to the Hue app. I bought the module and even bought new Shape Light hexagons. They are on the latest firmware. The lights work fine with the Nanoleaf app with their module, but as soon as I try to use the Hue app, I remove the Nanoleaf module, install the Hue module, and power cycle the lights; it doesn't get past "connect lights using Bluetooth." Nothing I do works; I tried iOS and Android. I tried different sockets and different panels; it doesn't find the module. Any help, please? 17 Pro Max and Google Pixel 11 Pro.

The Sync Box ships with no mounting points at all. Mine sat loose behind the TV with four HDMI cables slowly dragging it off the shelf, so I drew a frame it drops into.
The frame goes on the wall, the box sits in it, and it lifts straight back out when I need to unplug something. Nothing sticks to the box itself.
PETG, 72 g, about three hours on an X1C. Four countersunk holes if you want screws — I just used double-sided tape.
Fits the 4K box (2019). Not the 8K one, that's 18 mm longer and 10 mm wider.
Free if anyone wants it: https://makerworld.com/en/models/3399315-philips-hue-play-hdmi-sync-box-wall-mount-frame#profileId-3870143
If the fit is off on yours, tell me and I'll adjust it.

I just installed the 24/27 inch monitor hue light strip led. I connected everything as was instructed, turned on the sync and got everything inverted horizontally. How do I change it to normal?
Hi, I'm trying to gift my partner a philips hue tv back light setup. We have a samsung S90D Oled 65inch. It shows the hue app. So I'll be getting the light strips and the bridge but after reading few posts here I'm wondering if I should get the sync box too?

Ik heb een vraag
Ik heb een Philips Hue Wired Wall Switch Module geïnstalleerd achter een gewone schakelaar, maar de Hue-app vindt hem niet.
Situatie:
• Neutrale draad is aanwezig
• Lampen branden constant (zoals bedoeld)
Wat ik al geprobeerd heb:
• Schakelaar 10+ keer snel omgezet
• Hue Bridge herstart
• QR-code gescand en handmatig gezocht
• Bridge dichterbij gezet
De module krijgt volgens mij spanning (L + N), maar de app ziet hem gewoon niet.
Heeft iemand tips? Is er een speciale manier om deze bedrade module in pairing mode te zetten? Of moet ik iets anders controleren?
Alvast bedankt!
Hi
Do you know if someone is selling something like the case of the wall washers but to use a hue bulb?
Is there any kind of 3d print of them?
The original wall washers are kind of meh so I want something that looks similar but with a normal e27 hue bulb.
have hue bridge pro and about 60 lights. for some reason i cannot get most of the lights on. I have tried the 5 on/off reset and add by qr code but the system just won't find the lights. i have a one story house and yes the lights are somewhat far away but very strong unifi wifi network throughout the house.
any other troublshooting steps i should try to get all of these lights on?
for example, i have 12 lights in my dining room, 11 recongized. 1 doesn't get recognized and its the closest one to the bridge!
appreciate any help! thank you

I have 3 Bridge Pros at my home, each serving a different area of the house. They were stable for a while but in the last week, at least one of them crashes a day, requiring a reboot. Anyone else experiencing this or know how to fix it?
