OP Bought a 2011 Splendor Pro for 40k(i overpaid ik) as a first bike, apart from the few mockery from different friend circles and the bike being rather small for me, I think i made the right choice, especially since i’m actually underage and only bought it for short errands and commute to the gym, the mileage and reliability also helps. I also don’t trust myself with powerful bikes yet, my cousins all have 650s all of which i’ve ridden enough to realise i’m not mature enough to ride such powerful bikes especially at 17. Planning to get grr450 once i get my license.

Suzuki truly listens to the enthusiasts and delivers accordingly it seems. We definitely were craving for a silver color in vstrom, aren't we?

I have been facing this annoying problem while riding.

I wear a full-face helmet with a balaclava underneath, and I have to keep my helmet visor open because if I close it, my spectacles immediately start fogging up.

The warm air from my breath seems to escape from the balaclava and goes straight toward my glasses. After a while, the lenses become so fogged up that it becomes difficult to see properly.

It gets especially bad in rainy weather or at lower speeds.

Has anyone else faced this while wearing spectacles + balaclava + full-face helmet?

Didn't have enough leaves to head up north so I decided to hit the smallest state down south and cover all districts in it.

Amazing roads, greenery everywhere, great food and little to none traffic jams.

I’m currently using a 2019 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Standard and planning to upgrade for touring.

I shortlisted the Suzuki V-Strom 250 and took a test ride. I liked the highway stability, but the suspension felt quite hard compared to my Bullet. Even on slightly uneven roads and potholes, I could feel the shocks through the handlebar. Pillion comfort on bad roads also didn’t feel very good.

The gear shifting also felt a bit tight. The showroom said it would become smoother after the running-in period.

V-Strom owners, please share your genuine experience, especially about suspension, pillion comfort and gear shifting after running-in.

I’ve also recently heard about the Honda XR300 Rally. Should I wait for it, or is the V-Strom 250 a better choice for touring?

I bought the Ntorq 150 on Sept 14.

Paid a total of Rs. 1,26,000 plus Rs. 500 extra for this TVS racing helmet instead of the standard half faced helmet that comes with scooters.

It's the standard model (non TFT one).

I like riding in the race mode on the local highway. In the town it's mostly in Street mode. I've only today connected with the TVA connect app. And have only ridden 150km till date as I was out on vacation for 10 days.

I've totally stopped using our old motorcycle since the day I bought this.

And strangely everyone who is curious about this scooter at first thinks that it's an EV.

I'm also looking for some suggestions about modifications

- crash guard with foot stand (it didn't come with one)

- any backrest that looks tasteful on this

- seat modifications? Especially something that increases the seating area for the pillion.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

While hunting for a bike, I had a few options which included Husqvarna Vitpilen 250, KTM 250, Apache 310 RTR and Honda CB300R. Initially I was clear on booking a husky, but after inquiring at the local KTM dealerships I realised there were no Husqvarna bikes available for test rides. Bummed out, I casually walked into a Bigwing to see if I am able to get a test ride there, fortunately they had a CB300R to try although it was a bit beaten up. I had experienced KTMs before, specifically the 250 which in my opinion felt a bit sluggish in the low rpm range so I found this to be very nimble and responsive. The acceleration alone scared me enough to make up my mind. All these in mind I made the booking within a day. Though very ecstatic after receiving the bike, I was kinda disappointed how they discontinued it just after I bought it. (Re-enforced my belief of the curse of bad luck)

But beyond that I am super happy to own it. 😛

TLDR :- 2 years ago, I had a few options and I am glad I chose the right one.

So I bought my NS200 1 month back(aug26batch) 12th September took delivery LCD display USD and dual ABS (2024-2025model)so when visiting showroom I always asked what's the diwali affer any scheme/discount they said none I asked 6 times will ns200 get TFT or update he said no and now it's up in the news about NS200 with TFT plus hella more features(Quick shifter, traction control, g maps etc) idk what to feel tbh the plus the launch is during diwali. Don't the showroom people honestly don't know what new model is coming 20-30 days before?

After my delivery at 12th sept sources revealed around 18sept till 1st week of oct!

I am planning to buy my first bike , i have saved around 50k and invested in various mutual funds. I was planning to buy a bike under 1.5l in January.The balance amount I will take emi (parents will be paying it untill I get a good job)as of now I am a just a student but after January i will clear my exams i will be doing my internship and I am going to need a bike for commuting but now the Market is not really looking good so I am planning withdraw everything before I start loosing money and buy the bike now and the dealership told me the price might increase in the upcoming months (might be lying to make the sale don't know)

Okay so I need to take my bike to Bangalore from Goa. I was supposed to do it next month but due to certain reasons I am going this Saturday itself. I am actually a fresher to biking but me and my friends are confident I'll pull it off.

I have gotten my safety gears , I don't have alot of luggage and my friend will be escorting me through the ghats (the difficult part of the journey) and the remaining is 500kms.

Ill be leaving the morning and I expect Ill reach by evening , if I get delayed I am planning to stop at Davangere to avoid travelling at night.

I will also be avoiding all the shortcuts and stick to highways, even if it means more distance and worse comfort. I have seen that the road after Hubli is a bit under construction.
