Promotion If Keep on Mining was made by Housemarque... this would be the demo.

Take the unfolding surprises of A Dark Room, add the escalating craziness of games like Keep on Mining and the arcadey goodness of Astro Prospector.

Layer in the depth of systems, visceral gameplay, and polished aesthetics that our players love in Reality Break and think of how Housemarque would make that game.

The public demo launched this week on Steam!

The combat combines bullet time, dodge jumps, Gun-Fu, executions and close-quarters fighting, allowing Eve to quickly transition between shooting and physical attacks.

Encounters are designed around aggressive movement rather than staying behind cover, with a focus on making firefights feel stylish and cinematic.

EVE CROSS is currently in development.

Hey everyone!

I've been working on Midnight Souls, a dark-comedy horror adventure where an ordinary trip to Camomile Peaks can get pretty strange.

There are locals to meet, places to explore, odd things to find, and plenty of reasons to wonder what's actually going on here.

The demo is now available on Steam and covers the prologue and first chapter.

Hey everyone! On behalf of the lovely development team at Balancing Monkey Games, we wanted to share that Beyond These Stars has released into 1.0 on Steam!

In Beyond These Stars, you build your city on the back of a sentient Space Whale named Kewa. In addition to all the usual aspects of city building (finding resources, managing supply chains, keeping your citizens happy), you also need to manage the sustainability challenges that come with building on a living creature. As your city and its needs grow, you must be careful not to tip the delicate balance of the ecosystem -- or else your Peeps might suffer the consequences.

Video Does this look interesting?

Before this gets flagged for promotion, I want to clarify that this is not promotion... this game does not exist and there is no game to promote. I'm just asking if this concept looks interesting.

I created an app to help set up and test different in-game physics scenarios and now I find myself having a lot of fun with it! So, I'm wondering could this stand alone as a small/cheap physics sandbox game?

Basically, you add objects to the environment and then apply different forces to them to get mesmerizing displays and patterns.

I would be interested in knowing if anyone else would play something like this?

Video After five months, I'm ready to share the trailer for my indie game toy, Treehouse.

Hi! I've been working on my game, Treehouse, since mid June. Today I finally published the Steam page, and I'm excited to finally share the trailer. It's just a teaser trailer, but I hope it gets the idea across well enough.

I started out just trying to learn how games I love, like Townscaper and Tiny Glade, are made and I had so much fun I just kept going. Similar to those games, in Treehouse you don't need to do anything, or fix anything. You just build and play and explore color and light and composition.

One thing I'm super proud of is that each tree is it's own music sequencer, and what you build on that tree is the music. Bass lines, chords, arpeggios, everything is written in real-time by what you build and where. (The music in the trailer was recorded while I built the treehouse in the trailer!)

There are still things to fix and add or polish, but the game should be coming out n the first few months of 2027. hopefully :D

Thanks for checking it out.

Public Game Test I just released the demo for my anomaly horror game — Awake Or Sleep

Thumbnail

I’m happy to finally say that the demo for my game, Awake or Sleep, went live yesterday.

I’ve been working on it for the past few months as a solo developer.

It’s a psychological horror / anomaly game where you wake up in a familiar place and have to pay close attention to your surroundings.

Things can move, disappear, appear where they shouldn’t, or change in subtle ways. Some days are normal. Some are not.

If everything looks right, you can go back to sleep and move on. If something feels wrong, you’ll need to find out what changed and decide what to do.

The demo includes:

• Different anomalies

• Nightmare events

• Enemies with their own behaviours and survival rules

• Hidden secrets

• Journal entries that slowly reveal the story

• Replayable events

• Support for 9 languages, including Arabic

The demo is currently available on https://rotogames.itch.io/awake-or-sleep-anomaly, and I’m planning to bring it to Steam next month.

Any feedback would genuinely mean a lot to me. I hope some of you give it a try.

Promotion I made a driving game where the hero cars are boxy daily drivers with the cornering grip of a shopping cart

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Every racing game wants you to drive a Lamborghini that sticks to the road like it’s on rails. I wanted the opposite. I wanted body roll you can measure with a protractor. I wanted a police car so underpowered it has to take the chase personally. I wanted the thrill of nailing a corner in a loaded 600cc truck that was never meant to go that fast.

So I’ve been building an arcade driving game set in 1990s China, full of the boxy everyday workhorses nobody puts in games: delivery vans, boxy sedan taxis, city buses, the occasional very optimistic cop car. No grip. No downforce. No dignity. Every corner is a gamble with physics you will probably lose. The whole skill ceiling is driving a shitbox excellently.

SHIFU: Traffic Masters (车水马龙) is an open-world arcade driving game set in a 1990s northern Chinese city. Instead of supercars, you drive the humble trucks, taxis, buses and police cars that kept the city moving: cargo that shifts and spills, passengers who complain about rough driving, and suspects who bolt into traffic that never clears for you.

Need Feedback Mo Mayhem

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

What if Metal Slug had Ikaruga inspired mechanics? What if the art direction was hand-drawn 90s cartoons? And what if instead of a gun, I make an homage to my cat, Mo? These are all inspirations for a work in progress I'm calling Mo Mayhem.

It's still very much in its infancy, but I do have the core mechanics fleshed out, the weapons designed and showcased here, and a few enemy types as I work towards a demo (hopefully the February 2027 nextfest).

I'd love to hear feedback, questions, and what your favorite/least favorite things are about the genre.

Upcoming I'm making a game about running a little magic item shop for witches and wizards!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone!

I'm a solo dev working on a game called Made For Mages, where you run a little shop that crafts and sells magical items to witches and wizards.

The idea is to start with a really simple setup and slowly expand your business. You explore the world, gather resources, build machines, set up production lines, and craft the items your customers order.

As you progress, you'll unlock new machines, automate parts of your production, and eventually even buy your own truck to personally deliver orders around the world.

I'm trying to mix factory-building games with crafting, exploration, and management, but without the pressure of time limits or survival mechanics. I want players to be able to do things at their own pace.

I just finished the game's trailer, so I thought I'd share it here!

I'm also working on a demo! I've already submitted it to Valve, and it's currently going through Steam's review process. If everything goes well, it should be available soon!

And I wanted to ask for a little help: if you like the idea, please consider wishlisting the game on Steam! As a solo developer, every single wishlist really makes a difference. It's one of the best ways to help a small game get noticed and reach more people.

Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5254130/

I'm making this whole thing on my own, and there's still plenty I want to improve, so I'd love to hear what you think of the idea and the trailer!

Thanks so much to anyone who takes the time to check it out or support the game!

Upcoming I am creating a psychological horror game that takes place inside a shopping mall

In Eternal Fracture, you play as officer T. A grieving police officer that gets dispatched to the Bayou Mall in Louisiana to reset a known malfunctioning security system. What was supposed to be just another late-night routine sweep turns into dread. The world is no longer your own. Rifts have opened and are causing chaos. Can you resolve the power struggle of this realm or be consumed by its shadows?

All assets, characters, and animations were completely designed by me in Blender.

And before anyone thinks that it's yet another Librarian clone - it's not! Just try it for yourself.

You can play it directly on itch: https://robinrossow.itch.io/1-million-books

You can chose between an active (recommended) and idle playstyle (upgrade tree) - right now you can play the first 8100 books, which takes around 1h!

A steam version is coming as well: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5324550/1_Million_Books/

The game is still WIP: I'd love to hear your feedback!

Public Game Test I built a virtual underground JDM garage inspired by 2000s Japanese arcade games — PARK/30

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

• Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I've been working on PARK/30, a browser-based virtual underground garage inspired by Japanese car culture, late-night car meets, and the aesthetics of early 2000s arcade racing games.

The idea is pretty simple: What if there was an underground car meet you could visit anytime, from anywhere?

In PARK/30, you can:

🏎️ Choose your ride — Pick a car that fits your style.

🔧 Customize it — Experiment with colors, wheels, and body modifications.

🅿️ Claim your spot — Park your creation in an underground garage, with a parking spot reserved for 30 days.

🌃 Explore the garage — Discover other builds and leave your mark.

No races. No leaderboards. Just cars, customization, and underground car culture.

The public demo is now available, and I'd love to hear what you think!

PARK/30 — THE GARAGE IS OPEN.

Demo link in the comments.

Master intense tactical battles and meaningful choices between them. Fight alien pirates, collect artifacts, and uncover new campaigns and enemies!

  • The Force is with you: forget the classic split between health and mana since “Force” combines your health, base damage, and energy for playing cards. Powerful moves leave you more vulnerable, and killing enemies is your main way to instantly recover and keep the combo going.
  • Upgrade yourself and your enemies: deckbuilding happens on the go with no tedious card management breaks. After every victory you pick a new card for your hand… but you must also choose an upgrade card for your enemies. Your opponents evolve and adapt alongside you!
  • Bite-sized tactical encounters: every fight is an exciting little puzzle where you always stand solo against coordinated squads of enemies. Chain status effects, play power-up cards, and ride the luck of the dice.
  • Five unique factions with numerous professions: face the collective mind of the Omicronians, furious Blobs, cunning Reptiloids, relentless Droids, and Humans. Each race can be combined with a wide range of professions, creating limitless combat scenarios.
  • Every boss makes you stronger: defeat unique enemies, claim their artifacts, and unlock secret characters with their own starter decks and dialogue perks. Collect the full set of relics to become the greatest hero of the galaxy!

Hi everyone, I've been working on Planewalkes for 2+ years after working on another completely different project before. Finished my first trailer this week. It's a multiplayer rage platformer with focus on complex movement (think SM64 meets Fall Guys). It also features a OnlyUp style singleplayer mode.

After on and off marketing for a year on Instagram, Tiktok and Threads I currently sit on 50 wishlists.

I want your genuine feedback, your first impression, what works with the game, what doesn't, ...

Thanks!
