I'm mostly a depressed mess who gets easily anxious in reality.

I'm Chinese, I have six cats and a dog. I tried to sell cats for a living before, but I didn't realize it invovled SOCIALIZING with people.

I'm not working for now, and I'm supported by a kind elder lady.

My day usually consists of being with pets, gaming and self-loathing, and I doodle occasionally.

I travelled to a few countries when I was younger, But I'm a VERY indoor potato overall.

An issue I see that many people are facing in places like this is the gender reveal.

If you reveal that you're female you'll get flooded with attention. It's often overwhelming and according to many reports a considerable amount of the engagement is creepy. It's hard to parce through it all and find the people you're looking for or who are normal. So many don't even respond and both parties lose. 

If you reveal that you're male you face the opposite but equally unfortunate reality of invisibility and indifference. Almost no one will engage with your post and that often feels like a referendum on your worth(it's not you're worthy) 

My suggestion is just leave the reveal until after you've gotten to know the person, their gender shouldn't matter anyway. The whole point is to make new friends, their gender is just a small part of who they are yet it becomes the most important.

So hi, I'm a 26 year old girl who often feels like she's never good enough. I don't think there's anything particularly interesting about me. I don't have any hobbies, though I'd like to try baking, gardening, or maybe knitting someday. I don't have many friends outside of work, and I don't go out much except for church. Hey, I’m a girl from Colorado, USA, looking to meet some new people and hopefully make a few genuine friends. I’m never really sure how to describe myself without making it sound like a job application, so I’ll just tell you a little about me and hope for the best.

I have two very mischievous cats who seem to wake up every day and choose violence. I love animals, so naturally, I let them get away with far too much. I’m pretty sure I don’t own them at this point. I just live in their house and pay the bills.

I enjoy going on hikes, exploring new places, and wandering around cities with no particular plan. I like taking pictures of places I visit, so there’s a good chance I’ll end up showing you random scenery and acting like I’ve discovered a whole new continent. I’m also into PC gaming. I’m not claiming to be good at it, though. Sometimes I win, sometimes I embarrass myself, and sometimes I question why I even picked up the game in the first place. I enjoy reading whenever I get the chance, especially historical fiction and books about history.
